I was working on recovering from a ligament issue and among several other modalities I chose to explore this one. I called to check on their technique and approach. The PT seemed annoyed that I had questions. He wanted me to rely on the website description only. I found the communication style very strange. I thought that this may be a stylistic thing. One can overlook stylistic matters if the competency is there. During my 1st visit I realized that the therapist had a very rough demeanor. I tried 2-3 sessions over the course of 30-45 days and I must say that I have yet to come across such a brazen and rude service provider. I have come across far more knowledgeable people who guide their patients and have decent communication skills. They also advise them what to do after the session or in their day to day in terms of exercise and so forth. There were no instructions provided to me except for repeated confrontational conversation. In addition, if I will ask a question instead of a response I will get a convoluted drivel with no head and tail. Before a session, he would ask questions and then refute his question. That is his technique of refining his questions and improving himself. To give an example, I was asked after my 3rd session, "how do you feel?" I responded, "much better". Since I had been taking my other personal exercise classes and practising other modalities that were helping me out I was feeling much better Rather than being pleased with my progress as well as self work to improve the condition, I was told, "how do you know that?" When I responded, I was told that's not what he was asking. He constantly refutes himself and would waste your time in conflicting analysis / rude commentary and unrelated analogies / examples. It's like someone is engaged in loud self talk and in unbalanced. On my very recent visit, I decided to cut my trip short when I saw the past few visits' trend repeating. I have previously tried several holistic therapy places and have come across extremely competent and decent holistic service providers who know how to communicate. Here, I was left with a very distasteful experience.

Out of all of the different physical therapy locations I visited, none actually caused any amount of pain relief other than Manual Physical Therapy. I used to leave PT with more pain but not with Nachum. With each appointment, I left with better results. To be honest, initially, I was shocked because reducing my pain hadn't been an easy task for doctors and therapists alike. Nachum did it with such ease, my one wish is that I was told about him earlier. Thankfully, I was recommended by a family member who had similar results. Her unbearable bone pain was GONE after a few sessions with Nachum. As an experienced patient who has seen plenty of physical therapy offices, if you're suffering and in need of an excellent physical therapist, don't pass this place up. You won't regret it.

I highly recommend this place & will add that I've seen them work with the balancing program with seniors and it looks very good yielding noticeable results sooner than later. I had a wonderful experience at HCSC. I underwent a septoplasty by Dr. Rosemary Ojo from Englewood…read moreENT. The practice uses this center for most of their procedures. Everything from start to finish went fine, and I was very happy with the level of service I received from this facility. In the week leading up to my surgery, I received several calls from both Englewood ENT and the Surgery Center to ensure everything was set for my procedure - from paperwork to schedule changes and beyond. I prefer more information than less, so I was happy to receive even a quick phone call or text to update me on even the slightest change. The hardest part about this center is the location - it's really tucked in to a bizarre neighborhood in Fort Lee. However, the location sent me a direct pin to the front door which really helped. (When looking it up on Google Maps, the ETA was slightly different. The listed location on Google Maps is not as accurate at the pin they provide, so use the location that the text message sends out.) I was also grateful for the message about the parking they sent beforehand - the place is undergoing construction and they gave us a head's up about how it may be different to find parking. Obviously, for a surgical procedure, one can expect to be there early to make sure everything runs smoothly. I arrived 90 minutes before my scheduled time (7:30am). The gentleman at the front desk was kind and informative. You basically submit everything before you go, so you only need to sign some paperwork before you go in. The waiting room is also very chill and comfortable, with a TV screen that gives you up-to-date patient information so your guest can know what's going on. Upon entering pre-opt, every person was lovely, kind, and informative. Shout out to Elmer who took my pre-opt notes while I was getting ready! I am a talker (especially when I'm nervous) and the nurses were very happy to engage in conversation with me. While I was finished and waiting to wake up from anesthesia, the Center and doctor called my dad to let them know how I was doing. Upon waking, AJ took care of me - she's awesome! I was out and ready by 11am. I really could not have asked for a better experience!

I was skeptical about going to the surgery center at first. I do not like driving in Fort Lee, NJ!…read more I took a dry run so I would know exactly where I was going. I discovered I needed to allow lots of time for traffic, especially in the morning. They called me pre-op to get all the necessary information and answered all my questions about my transportation. I was having local anesthesia, so I was able to drive myself home. When I arrived I was greeted and made comfortable in the waiting room. It is very clean! Pre op nurse Elmer did everything correct. Thank you to Josephine, RN who visited me in pre-op. It truly helps when you are a little nervous to have kind and considerate people speaking to you! They informed me of exactly what would happen. Or Nurses Cristina and Karen and Dr. Ekstein spoke with me pre op and during procedure so I knew exactly what was going on. Everything went according to plan. My recovery room nurse Lorraine gave me written and verbal instruction, offered nourishment and assistance, answered all my questions and saw me safely out of the building. I was very impressed with the center, the staff, the kindness and professionalism. I am a nurse and it's pretty hard to please us! A+ in every way.
