They then pocket the money and never show up for the job. They seem very nice and sincere when you call or visit them but the job never gets scheduled. And forget about getting your deposit back. There is always a reason why they don't have the cash. These guys are fraudsters and you will lose your deposit money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I lost my deposit but it wasn't a great deal of money. My goal here is to post valid but terrible reviews about Boba's wherever I can so that they end up losing thousands of dollars of lost business and save the good people of El Paso the pain of dealing with such unprofessional con men.

I had a custom rack made for .my truck and tool box that Michael Bobadilla was more than happy to take. We came up with a design agreed on a price. He asked me for a deposit, I'm assuming for the materials, in which I paid in full. I'm not sure if that's where I went wrong but it took them 3 weeks to finish a job that should have taken 3 days. He stated that there were other jobs ahead of me and I acknowledged this. However I feel as if I was put on the back burner because they were already paid and I said I had another vehicle. Communication was very poor and I was told for over a week and a half that it would be ready the next day and it kept dragging on and turning into the next day. I went as far as to bring a case a beer by to try to help the job along. Here is the issue, I went by once and found the doors unlocked and keys in the ignition, no harm I removed keys and told Michael. It was after I picked up my truck that I noticed gouges in the paint on top of the roof and around the bed. And a large amount of slag ( molten steel from the welding process) all over the roof, quarter panel windows and rear window. I told Michael the same day I picked it up, and he said he would resolve it. When I brought the truck to him he tried claiming the paint damage on the bed was either prior damage or vandalism, "he couldn't confirm that it was his employees" the window and roof is undeniable and he admitted that it was his fault. He said he would get back to me in a few days with solutions but I have since stopped recieving responses from him. Damages are in excess of $2700, back window alone was $500. I do not expect to hear back from him. I have never experienced such worthless customer service. IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING ANOTHER SERVICE AROUND EL PASO AS YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Some of the welds look like they were done by high school students attempting it for the first time in shop class. IN FACT, SAVE YOUR MONEY, BUY A WELDER AND DO IT YOURSELF. You'll have less heart ache than dealing with Bobas welding. I pride myself on being a stand up citizen and all around decent person. I unfortunately lost my gate keys, and the locksmith wasn't able to make a new set of keys for me. He recommended I hire a welder to redo the whole lock. Copperhead Welding came up in my search, and his great reviews on Google were enough to convince me. I'm so glad I hired him to fix my gates. You can count on Matt to provide a fair and detailed estimate proposal. He then showed up on time on the date that was agreed upon. He finished the job in two days which was his estimated timeframe at the beginning of the job. The quality of his work was excellent and he and his team were very efficient. He patiently talked me through any issues that arose during the job. He and his team were a pleasure to deal with. He also accepts credit card payment which provides a safety net for the customer should there be a dispute. But I doubt there will be any disputes with Matt.
