James Martinez recently installed a privacy fence and a roll bar on top to keep coyotes out of my backyard for me and I am thoroughly pleased with the job he and his crew did. James' word is his bond. When he tells you he is going to be at your location on a specific day and time, that's when he shows up. He doesn't leave the job until it's completed to the customer's satisfaction. James and his crew are very polite, courteous, respectful and have an exceptional customer service attitude. James constructed two beautiful gates to accompany the new height of the privacy fence, painted, installed, added decoration to my specifications and they are beautiful. When the job was completed, James completely cleaned up all debris and removed it. The project was a complete success and I would not hesitate to contract West Texas Fabrication and Welding for any project I may have in the future. I can't thank him enough for the excellent job he and his crew did on my privacy fence and agates.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. He pays no attention to detail, left the place a mess (and told me to clean it myself when I said something), and every single post and the pole across the top are scratched. He made little to no attempt to paint over the scratches. He also was upset that I talked with my neighbor, an expert in the fencing business (retired due to illness) to get info and he offered to come over a couple of times during the day to check things out. He got very angry with me and was extremely ugly. I let him know that he should not use me as a reference - and he said he didn't need any references as he has plenty of large commercial jobs! OH, and he also said I was racist because I didn't offer them bottles of water during the day... I pointed out to him that I have 15 Hispanic grandchildren, 3 Hispanic great grands, and a Chinese daughter. I also told him that the professional, respectful people who re-roofed my house got a cold beer at the end of each day! He obviously couldn't handle me getting advice from someone more knowledgeable than he (who used to be his boss)... A few pictures attached. One more thing, I should have known not to hire him as he did a gate for me a little over a year ago that was sloppy at best and it was already detaching from the side of the house. I asked him to fix it while he was here and he said he would. Then he wanted to charge me $220!!! He does NOT stand behind his work! I have reported to the BBB and retained the texts he sent (and mine), as well as pictures of the poor work as proof of his shoddy work.

I would like to start by saying there is no option for zero stars. Had I read another users review…read moreprior then I would have stayed clear of this welding business. I had a custom rack made for .my truck and tool box that Michael Bobadilla was more than happy to take. We came up with a design agreed on a price. He asked me for a deposit, I'm assuming for the materials, in which I paid in full. I'm not sure if that's where I went wrong but it took them 3 weeks to finish a job that should have taken 3 days. He stated that there were other jobs ahead of me and I acknowledged this. However I feel as if I was put on the back burner because they were already paid and I said I had another vehicle. Communication was very poor and I was told for over a week and a half that it would be ready the next day and it kept dragging on and turning into the next day. I went as far as to bring a case a beer by to try to help the job along. Here is the issue, I went by once and found the doors unlocked and keys in the ignition, no harm I removed keys and told Michael. It was after I picked up my truck that I noticed gouges in the paint on top of the roof and around the bed. And a large amount of slag ( molten steel from the welding process) all over the roof, quarter panel windows and rear window. I told Michael the same day I picked it up, and he said he would resolve it. When I brought the truck to him he tried claiming the paint damage on the bed was either prior damage or vandalism, "he couldn't confirm that it was his employees" the window and roof is undeniable and he admitted that it was his fault. He said he would get back to me in a few days with solutions but I have since stopped recieving responses from him. Damages are in excess of $2700, back window alone was $500. I do not expect to hear back from him. I have never experienced such worthless customer service. IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING ANOTHER SERVICE AROUND EL PASO AS YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Some of the welds look like they were done by high school students attempting it for the first time in shop class. IN FACT, SAVE YOUR MONEY, BUY A WELDER AND DO IT YOURSELF. You'll have less heart ache than dealing with Bobas welding. I pride myself on being a stand up citizen and all around decent person. I will make updates to this review if their are any changes or if the situation is made right.

I rented a 26' Penske Truck, and a car carrier from Horizon Tubes N' Hoses on July 08, 2021…read more I booked a couple months out. I flew in from Phoenix to El Paso since renting the truck over here would have cost me about $1,800+ than in El Paso. It was well worth it for me to spend $142 for a flight, and 5-1/2 hours drive time back to Phoenix to save $1,800. Their office reached out to me to confirm everything about 1-1/2 weeks out from my pickup date. I uber from the airport to their location which is extremely close. It cost $8.59 for the ride. When I arrived they immediately started to help me with my Penske pickup. We went over all the options which I declined since I am covered under my auto policy. The gentleman which helped me was extremely thorough. I used to work in self storage and we rented Penske trucks. He pointed out multiple dings and things I missed, as well as very great info on the DEF fluid refill options they now have on the diesel models. He also said that if I had any questions please feel free to call them directly instead of Penske call center so they could help me faster during business hours if I had any general questions. The truck and carrier were ready to go. The truck fired right up, and I let it warm up for about 4 minutes. It was parked in a location which allowed for me to easily exit the property. I highly recommend the 9400 Montana Ave location for picking up a Penske truck rental. Hopefully you will have just as a great experience as I did.
