My girlfriend & I came here for cryotherapy, staff and the doctor we spoke to are super friendly but that didn't help what was to happen next. They put my girlfriend in the cryotherapy machine & about 10 seconds in she's passed out with the doctor talking to us and watching her before hand with her head covered in nitrogen. I immediately ripped open the door and there she is laying in the machine looking as if she was having a seizure with purple lips. I picked her up and carried her out while she's still unconscious twitching. Doctor told me to sit her down and after a couple seconds she's wakes up and has no memory of what happen. He claimed that she may be dehydrated, she's an NPC bikini competitor and drinks two gallons a day! After being completely traumatized by it all they than had the nerves to charge me for her session. After doing research and speaking to her coach who has been doing this for years and very knowledgeable. Your head is suppose to be 8 INCHES above the nitrogen NOT THE MACHINE! I have a video of the nitrogen completely over the top her head.

My Bestie frequency this place often, before she lives in Brunswick Georgia. She invited me to go…read moreon" Wellness Crawl" with her. I was very leery at first, given the itinerary. The agenda included oxygen therapy, IV therapy, and cryotherapy. I have had other similar experiences before, but I am very leery when it comes to needles and freezing temperatures. Let me say, the staff was amazing! They were young with a vibrant bubbly personality. That's much needed in this world where young adults in their 20s lack customer service skills. The staff was very accommodated and made sure that me and my friend were seated comfortably next to each other. Unfortunately, due to my small veins, I was unable to have the IV therapy because of the two stick policy from the Nurse. But, I did take the shot instead, and I felt amazing. The oxygen therapy also was needed and well received. I was able to rest comfortably under a warm blanket while being pampered. Last but not least came cryotherapy. I haven't been that nervous since I gave birth! But again, the staff was knowledgeable and very reassuring. The experience ended up being a success! And I was able to stay in the full seven minutes with no break!!! when I return to the Jacksonville area, I will definitely come here again for some true wellness care

Athlete Recovery Room was so accommodating! We phoned to make an appointment and they fit us right in. They were so welcoming and made us so comfortable for our daughter. They were informative on what would be most helpful and so knowledgeable about each therapy and the benefits. We did red light therapy and cryo therapy and came back again for more. It was so helpful! Additionally, it gave our daughter the confidence and comfort from pain to compete strong. Her team is moving on to finals and we are so blessed by our Experian experience here and how much they truly helped her.

I opted for the cryotherapy, Whole body. In the dressing room, I put on their socks, gloves and slippers. I wore their robe into the chamber. I don't know why I initially thought I'd be wet, but cryotherapy is not water. It's cold air. It was like walking into a freezer at a restaurant, if you've ever worked in the food service industry. First timers get 3 minutes in the chamber. It's a stand up chamber with a frosted glass window so you can see out. I did not feel claustrophobic. It was set at -122 and snow flurries were moving about. My eye lashes and arm hairs had tiny icicles on them! I shivered a bit but it wasn't bad. You have the option to have music or not. There is also a timer and a lighted bar that give you a heads up to the remaining time. It seemed very fast. Upon entry and exit, they take your temperature. They want to be sure you don't get too cold and they use that data for future sessions. The socks, gloves and robe are laundered, so there's a hamper for the used items. They have other therapy as well- theragun, compression boots, sauna etc. I gave four stars because I feel like I should have received a more comprehensive treatment plan, such as recommendations on how many sessions, how frequent, and what to expect - some sort of flyer or information. As a newbie, I have no idea going in what the mechanism of cryo is etc, so it would be nice to know. I do plan on going back. They have memberships for those who wanna take advantage of their many services. They also have some online specials if you check out their IG. My session was $35. There is a lot out front for parking. You can make an appointment online or you can walk in. They have a roomy waiting area.

When she finally came out, she seemed strung out. I chose my IV therapy and could tell right away that the nurse was not going be good at injecting the needle. She appeared nervous, talking to herself and missed three veins. I've never had anyone miss my veins for blood draws or IVs. Then, she offered to keep trying! No thanks! As someone who is always looking for a quick recovery from soreness and to reduce inflammation, cryo is my immediate go-to! The results are truly remarkable. I had a shoulder injury and was tired of being in pain and was desperate enough to try anything and that's when I stumbled upon cryotherapy. A treatment that sends your body into shock by exposing you to temperatures between -160 to -220 degrees. It may sound painful but I promise it feels amazing! Now one thing I will say: One cryo session will not immediately heal you but will revive some pain. I want to say to maximize the benefit, 5 sessions of consecutive treatments in about a span of a week can make you feel substantially better. Not only did my pain levels decrease significantly, but my energy levels and overall mood improved as well. Whether you're an athlete looking to improve your performance or simply looking for a natural way to relieve pain. Restore Hyperwellness has multiple services such as cryotheray, red light therapy, sauna, local cryo, body compressions, and WAY MORE.
