According to a federal law known as the Telephone Consumer Protect Act (TCPA), businesses - including both telemarketers and debt collectors - must receive express, written consent before they can start robocalling people. When a company fails to receive this consent, anyone who has been illegally autodialed may be able to receive up to $1,500 per phone call. Can't wait to file a class action against them.

We were told we qualified for a modification back in June 2011 and as of today, 1/19/12, they haven't done anything to speak of. They took $3500.00 from us, up front, and it doesn't seem like they have done anything for us. They to check their website for updates, but the site only gets updated when we call them and actually get someone to call us back. Our home is scheduled to be auctioned off on 1/27/12, and they refuse to answer any phone calls for emails AND we had to tell them about the auction date, they had no idea and just kept telling us that our case was still in review. They even said that when we called them to tell them about the sale date. The people I am having problems with are: Robert Parr, Chris Thompson and his assistant Valencia. If anyone else is having issues with this law group, please post it everywhere!!! They said not to make any mortgage payments while I was getting a modification and not to worry!
