It was a case concerning a predator lender trying to wrongfully foreclose on a reverse mortgage they held. The defendant was a 72-year-old single woman, with MS and onset Alzheimer's disease, who subsisted on Social Security. I spent months trying to find a law firm to represent her...to no avail. But it wasn't just law firms that backed away from aiding her; other deniers included the Florida State Attorney General's Office, Legal Aid, Legal Services, the Federal Consumer Protection Bureau, and even the ACLU. And then, just one month away from the trial date, I had the good luck to find Tiller & Rivera Law. No one called or emailed me back... so I sent another follow up email after 24 hours... and ding ding ding... again NO response.....
