I have had a policy with this company for several years and when I moved to my new house in August…read more(2 months into my current policy) I was quoted a significant increase from $227 to $334/month ($2000/6 months), but understood due to location. The next 3 billing cycles I was charged $405/month and when I called to inquire I was told that for the 4 month remainder of the current policy the premium was actually $2165 and I would get the quoted amount starting when the policy renewed. First of all, that math doesn't work. Second, I was not told about the additional increase, and what I paid was effectively the same as if I had paid the whole 6 month policy for that location. I would have liked more transparency but insurance companies can basically do whatever they want anymore.

My neighbor told me that his parents work with Anthony at Assurance Life group and they have been thrilled and get VIP treatment. I scheduled an appointment with Anthony and my parents and I. What an eye opener, Anthony was not at all pushy and he didn't "sell" us anything. He simply compared all the plans from every carrier offering coverage in our area. He went line by line comparing everything from copays for specialist to the cost for a nights stay in the hospital or a trip to the ER and all the while ensuring my parents doctors were in network. He even entered every single medication and compared the cost with each plan. We had no idea medication costs vary with different plans. After narrowing things down my mom and dad went with the same plan which now gives them a $170 part B giveback, thats an extra $170 in each of their SS checks every month, that's over $4,000 combined for the year, that is a life changer for my parents, they live on their SS check every month and it's very tight, an extra $340 a month and my parents were about in tears.. They each even get a prepaid card with $205 per month that they can use for groceries, utility bills and even pest control lol. So they switched carriers/plans and were able to keep there same doctors, their medication cots are less, copays are less, way way way better dental and even their maximum out of pocket is less plus the $170 back for the part B and $205 a month for groceries etc it was a nobrainer needless to say. Anthony was awesome, he took his time to explain EVERYTHING, was very knowledgeable, super friendly and again he didn't "sell" us anything, he just laid out all of the options and my parents decided which plan was best for them. All this time my parents were wondering if there were better options but never knew who to talk to so they left things as is and have been missing out on all kinds of amazing benefits. We are all very very very happy to have found Anthony and Assurance Life Group, he has literally changed my parents life in a way we would have never ever expected, seriously we are blown away.
