When I first visited this place I wanted to renew my prescription and get new glasses quickly…read more Three weeks later I have 4 different measurements and no glasses I can wear. Such a waste of time and money!!! Staff here is good at two things: being nice and making appointments. If you need to check your sight -- AVOID THIS PLACE! They made 4 measurements during 4 appointments -- different values each time. First glasses they made were painful to put on -- staff tried to convince me to get used to that. After lens replacement, I can wear these glasses for almost an hour before developing a headache -- again, they say I have to get used! During the last visit, they just recommend me to visit a doctor for a check... That's what I should have done instead of visiting this place...

Unbelievable. I had 3€ glasses for reading and computer work, they were ok, but I decided to invest…read morein good glasses. I went Fieldmann (Schönhauserallee) and following their advice I got a 60€ glasses. I had to return them, since the lenses were far too big, and they caused dizziness while reading. Why they didn't warn me of this effect in when choosing a model?? Following their advice, I got a replacement of narrower lenses' glasses. They worked for only 3 months!! In the middle of a trip in Latin America the little screws from the lenses became loose. So my lenses started to fall down randomly, in the middle of a boat trip, or in a far away place in the mountains. They made my trip really much more hard and annoying. How to find a tiny screwdriver in the middle in such places? I went back to Fieldmann's store in Berlin and exposed my problems. I nice employee said she would fix it. I asked her if the fix would last long and what was the problem... She said she couldn't tell me, but that she would try her best. Not much confidence here. Well, my lenses just started to fall down again. Just 10 days later. It's really disappointing and makes me very angry. The staff should know in advance what problems each type of glasses can have, and advice the costumer and offer solutions, not temporal fixes. The treatment was always very nice, but the expertise and competency quite poor. Meanwhile my old 3€ glasses still work perfectly since 3 years. No problems and no complications.

There's really not much to this place, and though I have passed by it several times, I only even…read morepaid attention when I was looking for a Postbank in the area. Essentially, the plaza looks like the lobby of a hotel, with very dated tiles and lighting. On the ground floor, there are a few restaurants (one Thai, one Bavarian, one Italian), a Mäc-Geiz, a Postbank, a hair salon that reaks of perm solution, and a Fielmann. Maybe a few other places but nothing memorable. Otherwise, it's all offices for rent. Not terribly exciting. I don't really see a reason why anyone would go out of his or her way to come here, but I guess if you work in this office, it might be convenient to have these places nearby (plus a Rossmann next door).
