Stay away from this location! If you have an appointment, plan on camping out there for at least 2 hours before they see you. Plus an hour to get everything done. If that wasn't bad enough the doctor didn't take her time to make sure my prescription was correct. She convinced me I needed readers with my contact lenses. I suffered with a bad prescription and readers for a whole year. Plus my glasses gave me constant headaches. Which I wore most of the time because my contacts were so bad. This year I went 20 miles to the Orlando location and I explained to the doctor there what had transpired. She told me my eyes muscles could have been weakened by age. I explained I walked in with a pair of contacts that I could read with and walked out with a pair I needed to wear reader glasses, something was wrong. She listened and took her time and gave me a real exam, nuts to bolts. She was shocked when it came to the reading test and I could read the bottom line. She said she didn't have a reason for the doctor being so off last time but she was going to fix it. I picked up my trials and I can see again! So much money was wasted at this location, not to mention how I suffered for a year. Please do yourself a favor a skip them. read more

I went to get my glasses, which is a very good experience. I had some concerns about the billing so I went back and I spoke to a gentleman name Zack he was amazing. I am 74 years old. i spent two months in hospital after a near death experience, My glasses were lost in ICU. Optical outlets was close to home, and their ads kept catching my eye. I discovered they were in the same area as my surgeon. I had to wait weeks to get an appointment, unfortunately my ride could not make it., so I was given an appointment for the following day. I say unfortunately, because y eyes were examined by a Linda Azwell, who I found to be totally incompetent, with the personality of a wet sponge! She never did lens screening which i complained about while there. Numerous times she told me she could not guarantee i would see better, because i have cataracts. I have glasses that are 25 or more years old that i can see better out of than the crap she gave me. She knew the script she gave me would not help. This has caused me a great deal of inconvenience. I cannot drive, and getting a ride to bring the glasses back has ben furtile. I wrote to the company over two weeks ago and never received a reply. The staff is great! Extremely helpful and considerate. Too bad she is part of that team! read more

This store has VERY expensive frames according to my opinion. Is busy, far away from my home. My eyewear has never been of great quality. Easily broken, poorly made lenses etc. No returns, repairs etc. Good side. The staff files insurance well. Highly recommend Angus to work with. This is my only current provider for my insurance. read more

Unfortunately as of 9/30, Mr Anus is still employed and I had a similar experience. I am so upset that I will never again visit an eye chain store. 9/20 I stopped in without an appointment to see if they could fit me in. Mr Anus rudely explained appointment only but would be so kind to schedule an appointment, very passive aggressive. 9/22 I have my eye exam and am not happy with the whole let's destroy your vision and then shop for frames thing, it felt very scammy. Anyhow, during my appointment I had the pleasure of Mr Anus guiding me through my shopping experience. Easily 20 or 30 minutes of shopping bliss buying 2 pair of frames that were nothing but a blur, deep conversation to a blurry figure about 1 pair sunglasses and 1 pair regular glasses, this frame regular glasses and this frame sunglasses. Mr Anus explained all the up charges for polarized, polycarbonate and etc and $500 later, I had a pair of sunglasses and a pair of regular glasses ordered. 9/24 I had abdominal surgery, this is relevant. 9/29 I received a call that my glasses are in and ready for pick up. I'm thinking wow that was quick. 9/30 1...2....3....3 trips back and forth to the car and 2 pair of regular glasses no sunglasses. I'm sorry it's not in the paperwork, are you freaking kidding me? The little weasel Mr Anus is hiding so I wait patiently at his little weasel desk. He comes out and I ask him what is going on and he tells me, "I apologize sir but I don't recall a conversation about sunglasses". My blood pressure is through the roof, I am shaking and holding my stomach. What were you writing and charging me for if it's not in the paperwork? Remember this frame sunglasses? This frame regular glasses? Then the little weasel tells me that he "will not tolerate" me yelling at him. I am 6 days recovered from abdominal surgery, yelling is truly not a possibility right now. He asked me to leave the store at one point and I asked for the manager at another point. The other co workers tried to clean up the weasels mess while he went into hiding. The resolution cost me another $50 and they made it seem like a refund was not an available option. I am extremely displeased with optical outlet. I will never return and I will share my opinion with all that will listen. read more

Optical Outlets in Titusville is where I went to buy new glasses and an eye exam on July 12, 2021. I had a brief exam and ordered 2 pair of glasses and charged $409 on my credit card. I was told the glasses would available in 10 working days. On July 28, 2021 I called to find out the status of my order and learned that they had been trying to call to tell me that the order could not be placed because of a pricing error. The order was $90 short so I agreed to add $90 to the order and asked what the availability would be. Got the same 10 working days as before. That same afternoon I found another local source and scheduled an appointment for July 29, 2021. Availability was 3 working days and the cost was about $100 less including an extensive eye exam. On July 29, 2021 I returned to the Titus Landing store to cancel my order and was greeted by Agnus, not his real name, to help me cancel my order. His statement was the they had been trying to reach me several times by phone and email to get the order corrected. I told him I wasn't aware of the problem until July 28, 2021and showed him the call record on my cell phone and asked him if he could see any calls from their phone and he found the 1 call I made the previous day. At this point he started his lecture on respect and did not like the disrespect I was showing him. I did not show him any disrespect. All I did was show him my phone record. Fortunately the manager and one of the girls joined the conversation and had me sign the receipt for the credit to to my credit card. I was happy to leave. I will say that Mr. Anus, Agnus or his real name needs to go to charm school to learn that true respect is earned not demanded and that the customer may not always be right, but they are always the customer. I don't mind saying this. I got dressed down by someone about 1/3 of my age and unexperienced in affectively dealing with people. Hopefully he is no longer employed at the Titus Landing location. Be ready for musical chairs, and be ready to shifted from one room back to lobby, in another room back to lobby, room for exam back to the the lobby as eyes are resting from being dilated than back to exam room yes back to lobby.........than choose your frames customer service was decent but nothing to write home about. I just felt like I was just an assem bly line..... product was took way more than the 7 to 10 days try 20 days........I became so anxious to receive product thaaaan received a call informing me that the transition will not get dark once I get into the car and that for th at it would be an additional $34.99 it went on and on "You were misinformed mame to everything you want yes an additional $114.00 mame". I showed up early for my appointment and the check in lady said that there were cancelled appointments so they could fit me in early. after waiting and waiting and seeing EVERYONE that came in after I did get their exam and leave while I was still waiting, another employee told me that my exam was going to be my appointment time. My appointment time came and went, I kept seeing them shuffle the clipboards around back by the exam room, and 30 minutes PAST my appointment I had enough and left. This place is horrible unless you are using insurance. If you go in for their advertised deals, you get shuffled into never-exam land. read more

I went to Optical Outlet in Titusville Florida to get new glasses and after picking out frames and doing a 5 minute eye exam I waited 3 weeks for my glasses. When I got them I knew right away that they weren't right. I could not read fine print and thought that they had forgotten to add the bifocals to the lens. I took them back and told them the problem and right away the manager was being rude to me for no reason. She told me that I need smaller frames and stood behind me the whole time I was trying to find smaller frames making rude comments about which pair I should pick out. I was being pressured by her so the second pair I picked up I took just to get her off my back. She was insisting on the first pair I picked up but they were to small for my face. After choosing and retaking the eye exam (doctor said she tweaked them for me)I waited another 3 weeks for my glasses. This time my boyfriend picked them up for me and I wore them for a few days but still could not read fine print AND I noticed a bullseye in the middle of each lens. An actual bullseye! Not only that...I could not wear the small frames because they hurt behind my ears and gave me headaches. They were just to small for my head. I went back to wearing my old glasses and took the new ones back to Optical Outlet to tell them what's going on and as soon as I walked through the door the manager was instantly rude to me. I can tell you I was dreading having to face her again! She told me that this is the last time you are going to do this! She made me feel like this was all my fault! I just wanted glasses that I could see with! She was very rude in everything that she said to me. I asked her why she was being so rude and she said that I came at her??? WHAT??? All I did was tell her what was going on with the glasses! When I confronted her with her rudeness she became even more rude and told me to leave! I said great give me a refund and I will gladly go to Walmart! I'm just wondering if anyone else has had trouble with this manager?? She does not treat her customers right and should be fired!
