I had been going to many ophthalmologists during my life, and none of them had diagnosed me with high tension, which leads to glaucoma. She referred me to an ophthalmologist that specializes in that field, and he has taken care of me since then. I go to see her every 1-1/2 - 2 years for my glasses, and she's always given me the right prescription. I have never had any problems with any of the office staff; they have always been very pleasant with me. I highly recommend Dr. Fallazadeh and her staff.

11-20 - My first visit On 11-20, I came in to use my Aetna…read moreMedicare vision benefit, which gives me a $400 allowance toward ANY frame from an iCare provider. Aetna confirmed to me directly that all the facility has to do is submit the claim. Instead, the staff insisted I could only choose from their "Grand Lux" collection, which felt like it benefitted their pocket more than helping me use my actual benefit. They kept refusing to submit my claim even though my insurer confirmed that I am fully entitled to use my allowance toward any eligible frame in the store, which is any frame in the store, including the Gucci frames I wanted. I wanted the Gucci frames not frames from the grandlux collection. When I asked them again to just submit the claim so Aetna could approve it, I was told "that's not how it works," even though Aetna said the opposite. I also overheard a comment like "I didn't know young people could be on this insurance," which was humiliating and made me feel judged for being disabled at a young age. I left that day feeling like my benefits were being misrepresented and that I didn't get equal treatment. 11-21 - The next day, things escalated I came back calmly the next morning (11-21) I wanted to speak with the manager and address what happened. Instead of fixing the issue, staff member Maria, the shorter older woman who opened that morning, escalated the situation and called the police. Maria told the officers that I was "threatening" her. When the police asked her what the threat was, she admitted the only thing I said was that I would update my Google review and record for my own safety so my words couldn't be twisted. The police confirmed that none of this is a threat, it is my right. This showed me that, in my opinion, Maria's statement didn't match what actually happened and felt like retaliation. After the officers clarified everything, Maria changed her story and simply said she wanted me to leave. That made it clear to me that removing me had nothing to do with safety and everything to do with avoiding accountability after refusing to submit my valid insurance claim. I did not receive equal opportunity. I remained calm the entire time. I did not threaten anyone. I did not raise my voice. I sat down and said I wanted to speak to the manager. That was it. They may not want to speak to me anymore, but now they have to speak to, mutiple agencies including the BBB, Optometry Board, Aetna and the list goes on. Their phones will be ringing, and they will be asked to explain this situation to each agency. What should have taken just 10 minutes turned into all of this, and all of it could have been avoided with simple professionalism. In my opinion, a lot of this behavior came from pride and refusing to admit fault. And pride will take you places you never planned to be, and keep you stuck there longer than you ever meant to stay.

I was impressed with the selection of frames to choose from at Clearsight! It was so convenient to…read moretake my prescription from Dr. Schwartz to Clearsight, as they are in the same building. My prescription for glasses is very high, so I needed a frame that would help hide the thickness of the lenses & support the thick lenses as well. Two employees picked out a few frames that they felt would work well with my high prescription and then gave their input about which looked best. They made the process so easy! I had questions about the materials they would use to make my lenses & some additional features I wanted to add to the lenses, and they were able to ask the optician directly, which was great. This was SO much better than other places that ship the frames to large optical labs, then ship them back when done. The opticians who create the lenses are on-site at Clearsight and it only took about 5 days to get my glasses vs. over 2 weeks at other places that ship the frames to the big optical labs. The glasses were crafted perfectly and I can't thank everyone who helped me enough, especially the optician who made the lenses. This was the easiest and most pleasant experience I've ever had when getting new frames & lenses!

I've been coming here for a few years now for my eye appointments and every time I'm here it is…read moreusually amazing! My favorite thing is how friendly most of the people are, my only concern is a couple of the people who work the front desk definitely need to be on the happier side because a few times they have been super grumpy and it is only 9:30 or 10:00 in the morning. Not a good way to start your day or my day in my opinion. The doctors here are super friendly and the checkups are insanely quick and then get you your prescription faster than any other eye doctor that I have gone to in the past. One thing that I do not like is they are very pushy about me trying new contacts, I know that they are trying to get more of a commission off of the brands they are pushing but I had one of the female doctors basically get upset saying that my contacts are horrible compared to the ones that she was trying to get me in when I kept telling her I do not care for One A Day Contacts I prefer my monthly. They have some very up-to-date machines and I love the retina scanning machine that they have to show you the back of your eye. It is super detailed and yes it does cost a little bit extra to do but I definitely think it is worth it to make sure that your eyes are in the best shape they can be! Right They also have an entire Optical section where you can buy your lenses and frames in store however I usually don't look over there because the prices for their frames are on the rather High side. Love this eye doctor and I will continue to stay a patient here until I move or they stop taking my insurance!
