It has now been about 7 months later and they are both scratched again! My optometrist even ask where I purchased them. I have worn glasses for over 60 years and have never had this happen before. This was my experience with Atlantic Eye Associates. It's been four years since my last eye exam…read moreand I noticed my glasses were no longer doing their job. Atlantic eye care was close to my home and accepted my insurance. I called for an appointment in early December and was scheduled for early February. Two months seemed like a long time but it's been four years so I took the appointment. After waiting the two months the day of the appointment I was called and told the doctor was sick and they would call and reschedule me. I got a call in a few days and was scheduled for the following week. The day of that appointment I received another call stating the doctor was still sick and that they would call to reschedule my appointment. That call never came. After ten days or so I stopped by the office to reschedule and was told the best they could do would be the first week of May. That's another two months. I consider that to be terrible customer service and decided to write this review. In an area where there are so many people one persons' business doesn't matter. Treating people this way has become the norm just about everywhere. The only thing we have as consumers and citizens are our wallets, our votes, and reviews. Do as you will but once I see this side of a business I would never hand them my hard earned money.

The price for a pair of glasses was $145 and we were fine with that until the man gave us the price as $500!!! Ridiculous. The other female workers sat there and stared in the rudest manner. NEVER will you see me enter this company's store again. How unpleasant.

Dr. Craig is amazing! I always look forward to seeing him, and especially my recent follow‑up visit…read moreto thank him for saving my life. He was persistent over the past year in searching for the cause of my worsening left‑eye vision. He referred me to three eye specialists--a cataract specialist, a retina specialist, and finally a cornea specialist, who ordered a brain MRI. The MRI revealed a tumor pressing on my optic chiasm, which was responsible for my vision problems. I had the tumor removed a couple of months ago, and because Dr. Craig cares deeply about his patients and pursued every lead, I would never have discovered the brain tumor otherwise. I am still healing, but thanks to Dr. Craig, he will always be my hero!
