The work they did was high quality, much nicer than the other fence that was already put up before we moved in. The price was comparable to the other quote I managed to get, and only a little higher than a different neighbors (also shabbier) fence. For the record, I never take the lowest bid anyway, for this exact reason. Good experience, highly recommend.

Another review claims the cost for the website payment was high, he is more than willing to come by and collect a check or cash to eliminate the 3% card charge which is fair due to the charges that card companies charge. So that was a none issue in my eyes!! His crew went above and beyond from the time the project started until the end. Should have been a 5 star experience; it was a 2.5 star experience…read more On Day 2 of an estimated four day job, the owner of Colorado Fence and Deck showed up unnanounced to do a "walk through" while the work was ongoing. Shortly after, the crew left before all of the agreed upon work was completed. Crew lead returned later the same day to complete the work after I discussed my concerns with the owner. Within a couple of days, a deck floor board (actually two boards pieced together) near the deck entrances began to make noise when stepped on. The owner confirmed that he was aware that two boards were used when I expressed my concern. We set up another day for someone to come out and address the issue. The crew lead arrived on the agreed upon date and completed the replacement, as well as adjusted the fence gate repair that was already not working correctly. The request for the fence gate to be addressed was not communicated to the crew lead even though I included it in my appointment confirmation text. To date, the adjusted gate is currently working as expected. Unfortunately, the deck board that was replaced is also moving and is making noise, suggesting that the board is not secured as the other floor boards of the deck (which are not making noise). This problem is obvious by sound and feel, even when the dog walks on the deck board. As noted by another reviewer, some of the boards used on the deck probably should have been set aside for a more consistent quality deck floor. To date, the owner of Colorado Fence and Deck has not followed up to confirm that all of the repair work was completed satisfactorily. To be clear, the work has not been completed satisfactorily. 6.19.2026 Update Owner of CF&D contacted me after the Yelp review and agreed to send his crew to address the deck concern noted above. He also offered to improve communication, which was appreciated. The crew lead confirmed they made adjustments and tested the boards for the fix of the movement/noise. After three weeks of limited use, the repair continues to work, so I have updated the rating to three stars. Unfortunately, the gate issue has returned. I will be looking to see what other solutions I can implement to allow full time use of the much troubled gate.

Nowhere during our meeting did Andrew divulge that his teenage son and an illegal immigrant would be completing this $9k fencing project. Andrew was not our cheapest bid, more upper middle of the road. We chose him based on his promises. The work is absolute garbage. We have since found an amazing fencing company who will echo this sentiment. The posts are split, uneven, improperly measured so much so that an additional post had to be sunk to fill the gap from mis measurement. Andrew always promised to come fix it and never himself came back to our home. Instead he sent his sweet son who unfortunately just doesn't have experience necessary for the scope of work. Had Andrew explained his son and a day laborer would be helping, we wouldn't have paid near top dollar and would've had different expectations. We have been reaching out since Feb 7 to get help from Andrew and have been barraged with threats claiming I should 'think twice' and he would counter sue for legal fees. I urge you to use Frontier Fence, Bill is amazing and has quality work at a reasonable price. Andrew and this business he is trying to give to his son is a losing bid! Crappy work!
