I have two toddlers with special needs, who each need multiple therapies, and this place has been amazing for them. Jordan is the physical therapist on staff and I just can't say enough great things about her! She started working with my son when he was 1 year old and not able to even roll on his own. Now he is 2 and able to take steps while holding Jordan's hands! Even on days when my son is in a bad mood or is struggling due to his disability, Jordan encourages him and makes sure he gets the most out of a session. Both of my toddlers see Britnye for occupational therapy. Britnye has a fun and outgoing energy that draws my shy kids in and makes them want to engage with her. She has really helped my kids get over some of their nervousness and open up to new experiences! read more

When I think of pediatric clinics, it always makes me think of younger kids, and ODPT is great for younger ages. My daughter is 15 years old and needed help with emotional regulation and ODPT was the perfect place for her, as well. I spoke with the owner, Amber Humphrey, and she suggested that we work with Norma. She was the perfect occupational therapist for my daughter. She understood the mental health issues my kid was dealing with and didn't make her feel "crazy." She taught her several coping skills that she has been able to use when feeling overwhelmed. This place is a parent's dream come true. The one thing everyone wants is a safe space for their child to thrive and develop lifelong skills that might not be easy for them to come by without some form of therapy. I heard about ODPT from a family friend and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to visit and get some good feedback on our toddler's development. The staff is incredible. The owners, Michelle and Amber are serious about making the business the best place to work so they really can choose the best therapists. You'll regularly find the entire staff supporting a kiddo on their birthday with a fun shirt or costume, which speaks volumes to a "customer first" culture. They have sensory rooms in the office that are genuinely one of a kind in the States. When specialized care is so difficult to find, it's a relief to find a place like ODPT to calm your nerves. Watching your kid's progress in a safe space that they really enjoy visiting week after week is happiness in a bottle. I absolutely love open door pediatric therapy! We moved our twins there after the cost increased at another clinic and couldn't have been happier with the move. They had appointment times that worked well for us and were focused on my twins goals that they needed to meet to be discharged. They treated my son well however they never notified we went over our visit limit and I now have a 1200 bill!!!!! Not happy . Son actually improved a lot once he went to public school. I do not recommend this place , it's just a business for them. read more

I don't even know where to begin. We have been attending regularly since September and this has changed my child's life. We come every week for one hour of OT and one hour of PT. The therapist do everything they can to make sure we get everything we need to help my child be successful. Our insurance doesn't cover therapy and even though we have to pay cash I can't ever see us not coming it has helped my boy so much. His hand writing went from nearly unrecognizable to nice and neat. He can move better. Using techniques to help himself stay calm and is even sleeping better! You guys are the absolute best. I literally tell everyone I encounter about your practice. Updating my previous review. We apparently have a over $600 bill because Open Door Pediatrics failed to notify us that we had reached our insurance's cap for our sons # of visits for the year.... They always pushed us to schedule, schedule, schedule... had us coming twice a week/2 sessions per day because they felt Jacob needed 4 weekly sessions to give him the full benefit of therapy. And if Open Door was closed due to a holiday you best believe Jenny would be calling the next business day to schedule a makeup visit! They were very proactive about scheduling you for more and more visits, but interesting that they did not keep us up to date on where we were relevant to our # of covered visits for the year. With always a cheerful smiling face they acted like our son had a never ending amount of free visits! Well as the care provider, they should have been on the up and up with our insurance benefits and should have been logging how many visits we had already completed. Now we have to be the ones to fix their mistakes and dish out the $$$$? I think not. It is their responsibility to deal with insurance, learn about benefits, make a treatment plan based on what is covered, and then keep updated on the nearing end of our visits for the year. Had I not mistakenly found out about our 60 visit cap and put a stop to all sessions, who knows how high Open Door would have let our bill get!! One more thing, according to our insurance Jacob can have 1 hour visits for each session(which apparently is standard), but at Open Door, they go by half hr visits and bill it as if it was an hour long. They do this to squeeze in as many kids($$$) as possible with as little work as possible. read more

Scheduled a speech delay evaluation for my son 3-4 weeks ago... it supposed to be next Monday and just got a call about a "scheduling mishap" so they need to push the evaluation back one more week!! Ridiculous!! On top of that, they had called me 2 days ago saying that they wouldn't be able to treat my son because he's being raised bilingual (Spanish and English) and their staff only speaks English. Primary language spoken at home is English. I do not recommend this place. Extremely disappointed at the lack of professionalism. read more

My son goes to ODPT for occupational therapy. He absolutely loves it. His therapist is great, and works hard to help him meet his goals.

My twins are 7 and have been in speech, PT, and OT since they were 2.5 years old for a variety of medical and development concerns. We have gone to 3 other facilities for therapy, plus what they receive from the school district, and ODPT is BY FAR the best facility we've ever gone to. We've been going there for a year in November and they've identified multiple different things going on that no one has ever pointed out before. They're super creative in finding new ways to help your specific child. I almost threw in the towel at the start of the pandemic when they quickly put a plan together to move virtually and I wasn't sure I could manage that and my work schedule. I'm so glad I didn't. I was able to get a ton of feedback from therapists during that time and they cared just about me as they did my children. I can't recommend them enough. read more
