An older woman was learning to use her walker and I was wedged into a section next to a wheelchair (unoccupied) and right across from where she was practicing. There was no real problem except I felt that I was intruding and to leave that area meant maneuvering around her, her walker, her husband and her therapist to get to the other "U" configuration of seating where another couple was already ensconced. My therapist, Sara, was friendly and upbeat and encouraging about my therapy plan. Unfortunately, the room was HOT AS BLUE BLAZES!! She agreed it was warm and offered me the clip board with my records as a make-do fan. It helped. Nonetheless,by the time I was being checked and manipulated, I was a sweaty mess. She was clear about her suggestions for my therapy and I left understanding what my course of treatment will be. When I was scheduling for my next treatments, there were staff loudly discussing the weekend , and others asking why people did something a certain way and the answer was "Because they're MEN!" Perhaps this type of dialogue might be better limited to the break room? There is ample parking very convenient to the exterior door and the practice is immediately inside that door so all that was quite convenient.

The only problem I had was finding it. There is no clearly illuminated signage on Commonwealth. The most obvious sign was on Roper Mountain Road Extension.Based on the positive comments from other people that night, when the time comes that I have to search for an assisted living facility for my loved one with demential, I will assuredly look into The Gardens at Eastside. The only reason this not a 5 Star rating is because I 'm unable to address their quality of care.

Bon Secours Cancer Center in Mauldin, SC is what my review is based on…read more My late spouse had terminal cancer and was given chemotherapy and they never monitored his heart. He was too thin to even be placed on chemotherapy. The issue is not with the doctor. The issue was with the care team and the head nurse was a very cold individual who could care less. When coming and going he would speak to the nurses at the station where the care team was located only a few spoke back out of their kindness. The ones that did not speak God bless because you will have to answer to God. The best solution would have been to keep him in the hospital to monitor his condition before sending him home without providing information that I could have had a homecare aid come in to help me with him. I had to take care of him by myself and needed help in how to help him. My heart is broken and there is more that I can say but God knows all about it. This is a coldhearted world with a lot of people who just do not care. Not all the nurses were non-caring. There were more that cared and some of them are just overworked. I would like to work with the cancer care hospital to make improvements. If, someone at the Cancer Care Center in Mauldin would like to send me their contact information I would greatly appreciate it. God Bless!

Office manager and staff have not one shred of empathy for people who have been through losses…read more They are condescending, and have refused me healthcare multiple times today, and are beyond unprofessional when it comes to medical notes. They didn't explain to me at all why my request was continuously denied, these are women btw, you would think they would have a bit more of an understanding when it comes to pregnancy losses, and pregnant women with autoimmune diseases. Anyways, they lost three patients today. This is honestly the very first issue I have had over here so it's really disappointing. I have no issues with the doctors I have seen, ( Dr Pollard and Dr Jones-Moon, who actually did tell me two different things in the situation) but their female nurses and office manager both have awful bedside manner considering their professions. I and my mother spoke to these women today, and they are super caddy and unprofessional. All I needed today was reassurance and an explanation, and for some reason these two things are not within their capabilities as healthcare professionals.
