As someone who suffers from sickle cell and is often overlooked when in a pain crisis, he explained to doctors what kind of treatment he would need to subside the issues and they continued to neglect him and give him the lowest possible doses of what he needed on a ridiculous schedule. If you are looking for emergency treatment for pain in a sickle cell crisis do not choose this hospital! You will get stuck with a bill for nothing. He couldn't even sleep from the pain and requested 15mg of melatonin which he usually takes and they would only give him 6. MELATONIN! This hospital is unequipped to deal with this kind of situation, and clearly not educated to the needs of someone with this issue.

The initial nurse I saw was also great, but that Nurse Practitioner or PA whatever she is, Stacy Fender...never again. I tripped on the lip of our garage and twisted my ankle and cut up my knee. This woman acted like she couldn't touch me and wasn't listening to what I was saying. I just wanted to make sure nothing was broke on my foot because the swelling and pain was intense but no bruising and my main point to her...this foot had just recovered from a previous injury, which was like explaining it in a foreign language to her, she didn't get it. Next thing I know, the nurse is bringing me a cup for a urinalysis??? I ask why she says Stacy ordered it...I said for an Xray? Poor nurse she said she just follows orders. Thankfully nothing was broke and when it came time to look at my knee, this chick looked from afar and didn't even bother to redress it but had the nurse come back in, who did an amazing job. I asked Stacy why I had to pee in a cup for an Xray and she got all squirrly and said "it must have been a mistake" yeah your mistake, thank you for PROFILING me so blatantly. Then she had the nerve to say she would remove it so I don't have to pay for it but my urine was clean...UM YEAH I KNOW! I will never return there and possibly no Prisma, I'll just head to my regular doctor! What a shame!!

I have experienced both as caring and competent professionals, each taking time to explain the course of treatment and responding to whatever questions I may have. The staff at PGA is equally caring, attentive, and helpful. I recommend the practice highly, without reserve or qualification.

I went to this ER on 12/10/18 on a recommendation from a local urgent care center, as a hospital…read morethat would probably not be busy and would take good care of me. They were entirely accurate! I had out of state insurance and the only places I could be seen without cash outlays were ERs. This ER took me in to triage right away (cat bite on finger) and sent me back to the treatment area very promptly. It did take 3 hrs to get everything done (x-ray, two shots, and IV antibiotics) and the doctor did not introduce himself, but did come and speak with me about the medications. Offsetting the time frame and the doctor's lack of introduction were the friendliness of everyone and the nurse that went out of her way to find the type of tetanus booster I was willing to accept. (Note - apparently all hospitals in Greenville have a standard of giving tetanus boosters including pertussis when adults never need a whooping cough booster. Look up the CDC site to verify what is needed.) The triage team even looked up and printed coupons for me to get the antibiotics prescription filled at a discount, since this was not covered by my insurance and needed for cat bites. I would go back to this ER any time I need emergency services again! I highly recommend!

They will never answer the call button. My mother wasn't mobile and they left her in the same clothes for 3 days and nights. If you ask for any help you don't get it and if you do it's done in an hateful manner. Never a smile on their face. I feel so bad for the people who are in the nursing home section that have to endure this type of care everyday. The food is not edible. The facilities are clean and satisfactory. The rehab as far as the OT and PT is good. That is the ONLY good thing you can say about this place. Please do not put anyone you love here. They will not be cared for. My mother would go home before she'd ever go back here!

My husband was ill and the MD360 we typically use was running hours behind due to computer problems. I saw that this was nearby and to his surprise the waiting room was clean, friendly office staff, and no waiting time. Unfortunately, when we met up about an hour later, he realized he had left his wallet inside one of the exam rooms. He had a very large sum of cash in his wallet, which is rare, but nevertheless it was still there. We arrived 5 minutes after they closed and everyone was already gone. We called every number we could think of to ensure that an office member locked it up, in case someone else was put into that room the next day. We left notes on all the doors and left several voicemails. We arrived 45 minutes before they opened the next day to make sure we were the first ones in there. To our relief the Office Manager has found it the night before and locked it up. She even asked for ID, which was in the wallet, so we had to give additional information that would've only been in that wallet. Every last penny was there and we cannot stress how thankful we are for their diligence in checking all of the rooms, and taking the time to lock it up, especially when it would've been very tempting to take it. We need more honest people like this, and we recommend it to everyone!

I called AFC numerous times over two days after originally speaking with someone who promised to check on the status of the results and GET BACK WITH ME and the calls all went to vm. My husband called from his phone and they miraculously answered immediately. The PA who saw me was amazing! She should go work somewhere where the support staff is more competent! I will never go here again!!!
