Called to confirm my insurance covered it, they said yes. I came in and they said I owed $600. Ridiculous, they're money hungry and they've been like this. Update: Clearly you guys do a poor service of communicating with one another and with customers, as I was told over the phone multiple times that it would be covered only to be told in person it wouldn't be. Began with a locked jaw waited a month until I could be seen by the specialist only to tell me there's nothing and that my primary care dentist could take care of it. Took another month to get an appointment here, after I called and confirmed insurance covered it. Do better, stop being petty by replying to reviews on yelp, train your employees, and actually make a difference. Damn This whole process sucked and here I am still with jaw issues. read more

I found this dentist online and I'm so glad this is the office I chose! To begin... I was greeted as soon as I opened the door! Check-in was extremely easy! Their office was nice and clean' I was then taken to the back by Eva! Eva was amazing! She was so nice and explained everything thoroughly! After being seated the dentist came in and she was AMAZING!!!! She explained everything and went over what needed to be done! All in all from the staff in the front to the staff in the back 100/10! Let me tell you how wonderful and amazing the staff is. I wish I could've got the doctor's name, but she's amazing with kids. She has such patience , and such nature, I feel from her. My daughter is four, and she had two cavities. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor to treat her. Watching I have so much anxiety because my daughter was a wiggle worm and I was afraid that the doctor wouldn't have been able to fill her cavities but she did. As much as I wanted to try to help I know the doctor and her assistant had everything in control to reassurance me that everything was gonna be fine. Worst place to get anything braces-related. My boyfriend and I both got our braces done here at the same time and it was the worst experience ever. The brackets broke extremely easily, and the wires constantly shifted out of place. Even when eating soft foods, the brackets would break! We brought this up with one of the staff members or I think the doctor, but they insisted their materials were "good." Honestly, this place was a complete waste of money and time. read more

It breaks my heart that they take advantage of medi-cal patients who already have a low income by lying to them about things they need. They also bribed people for some positive reviews, so don't believe all of them. Dr. Por the ortho doctor is very very unprofessional. I've seen him at there other office in chino ( which sucks) for about a year till I switched over to the West Covina location and saw another doctor for 3 months to going back to seeing him again and he acted like he had never met me saying "nice to meet you". He's very dry and doesn't keep you aware of things . You have to ask questions In order to know things. I questioned his work at my last visit and he told me if I didn't like it I could go see another doctor. My teeth shifted within 3 months after removing my braces . Which he then told me I needed braces / Invisalign AGAIN ! Would not recommend seeing him I would go to the other doctor that is there on Saturday's . They're very unorganized. My daughter got braces here and every time we've come in for appointments there's ALWAYS an issue where they don't have us for the time they booked (I have texts that saved us) or the times that do show they don't see her until a whole hour after her appointment time because they triple book patients. Something needs to be fixed in the admin part. They were even charging my card even though we paid for her braces in full. The front lady's response was oh sorry we forgot to remove your card from the monthly payments? If they made changes in the office part then this office would be a great! read more

This place is a scam... consider all your options before coming here. My child was given ptsd at this place while in treatment for braces. The orthodontist cursed at her in Spanish thinking my we didn't understand Spanish;gaslighting her after. We stopped treatment. We came back a year after because we were told the previous ortho was no longer there; however we had to pay again and this time all out of pocket. Their billing department is a mess. There is a lot persuasive behavior to get one to sign a contract without allowing patient to review documents. Services are subpar. Do your research please ! This place is horrible. read more

When I was getting the root canal, my boyfriend said the amount of blood he saw was insane. It's been one week without my braces. I got them off June 5th 2023 5 days ago. A lot of food get stuck in my teeth. Last year I had my tooth extracted and I have a gap between the orthodontist did not close it up. I remember him telling me why did that orthodontist extract your tooth and said she made a mistake. Over the period time my gap should have been closed up. I am disappointed in the treatment and being so unprofessional. I remember the orthodontist he is tall with glasses he told the dental assistant this is early de banding. No it was not an early de banding we came to time and date when my brace were suppose to be done it shows on picture below. So unsatisfied with the treatment. I'm assuming the delay had something to do with their front glass breaking, but they never explained the cause of the delay when I asked. I scheduled an appointment to get a dentist to look at my cracked tooth, determine if it can be saved or removed. After being seen by the dentist, I attempted to schedule a removal appointment as recommended by the dentist, but the staff kept pushing me to wait. came for my wisdom teeth removal in January and February 2023. I don't know his name he is blonde with fair skin, & bilingual. I was told this person was the only surgeon available for wisdom teeth removal's at the time. The surgeon here was so RUDE, he tries to make you spend unnecessary money & he gave me so much ANXIETY! My first question for him was simply asking "can you explain how the surgery is performed?" He began explaining the steps which included inserting bone graph and this that and the fourth. When he was done explaining I asked if the bone graphing he mentioned was insurance covered ? (I have medi-cal). He said No. This cost is separate so I began asking about pricing.. (which was too expensive and TRUST ME you don't need it.) The first red flag to me, was him inserting bone graphing as a part of the procedure, AS IF it is a normal step that's apart of wisdom teeth removal surgery . He tried to sneakily slip that step into the explanation of surgery, and I think that if I would not have asked him if my insurance covers it, he would have just had me sign and initial the usual paperwork and charged me for it at the very end when I leave and i wouldve been surprised with a bill.. so if you are not one to read paperwork, and he does this to you, you would be unknowingly, approving the costly bone graphing. Im also only 23 years old and I look very young so It felt like he tried to take advantage of my age when it came to trying to slip in the extra cost into my procedure. most young people do not read what they are signing and will just initial paperwork at doctors offices without knowing what they're approving to be performed. I feel this is why he tried to sneak in an extra step without making sure I was aware of the cost!!!! second thing, when I denied the bone graphing, he asked me why, in a very stern voice so I said, I feel it is not necessary. He asked me "Why" again, and I repeated myself. So He then began going over all of the risks in a very condescending manner. He began speaking to me as if I was just plain stupid for not spend the extra money$$$$$$$$$ for bone graphing Trying to make me Feel like this step was necessary for a successful surgery. after he was done explaining all the risks, he asked me if I still wanted to go ahead without doing the graphing and I agreed, he tried to scare me before beginning surgery by asking me if I was OK with loosing all sensations of feeling in my mouth, etc. I could tell he was upset I chose not to spend the extra money once he felt he couldnt make another sale.$$$ third, he did not make me feel comfortable by any means. because he gave me anxiety, My hands couldn't stop shaking and I couldn't stop crying the entire time from signing all the paperwork (which I could hardly do because my hands were literally that shakey) to the actual surgery being done.The assisting nurse asked if I was ok as she could see all the tears falling down my face during the surgery. And no I'm not over exaggerating. I wasnt hysterical by any means but I was very shakey with very visible tears rolling down my face the entire time. Terrible place, will not be returning. read more
