To start, they have a very small selection of colors for dip powder nails. As soon as I left I noticed how bubbly and uneven the texture of my powder dip manicure was but after how much time I spent there I just wanted to go home. Less than 24 hours later my nails started to crack. I went back for them to fix it and not even a week later it's cracking again, as shown in the picture. Don't waste your time or money at this place. Especially when there are so many other, better nail salons in the neighborhood. read more

Oh how I wanted you to be my new low key neighborhood pedi place...unfortunately it felt like a covid fail on more than one level. The woman who did my pedi clearly was short of breath, had a cough and appeared to have a fever bc she kept wiping her brow with her arm, and in general looked like she was going to collapse the whole time. I didn't want to embarrass her by asking if she was okay as the place was super quiet and also very packed so I just kept my mask on tight and hoped it would be quick. Then I went to let my toe nails dry for a moment and some arrogant douchy couple walked in maskless and sat down for pedi's and no one said a word. They did however call out a couple who turned up maskless earlier when I arrived, so clearly they're picking and choosing who the rules apply to. Bummer on so many levels. Quick edit-added 2 stars back bc as I was leaving, the manager handed the super douchy couple two masks and informed them they needed to wear masks. read more

Love this place! Really great prices for the neighborhood, and there's a discount if you pay in cash instead of card. My gel manicures also last a long time when I get them here compared to other places. They can always get you seated pretty quickly even if you don't call ahead. read more

Haven't been in a while, but the lovely ladies who work here always do a great job on my nails whether it's a gel manicure or regular manicure. They're very attentive and meticulous in the work. Haven't had a pedicure here yet, but I overheard someone getting one while they were on the phone saying "this is the best pedicure of my life". As a veteran in the mail game, I this was the worst dip powder manicure I've ever gotten. I had one nail chip the same day as my service and had to come back the next day for a repair, which was rushed after they told me 15 minute wait (actually 30 mins and I needed to go). All of my nails have cracked within one week leading me to need to use nail glue to try and keep some pieces from falling off. My spa oasis. My home away from home. The manicures and pedicures are wonderful. My favorite experience is the massage. I come in once to twice a week to get a back and or foot massage for 30-60 minutes and when I leave I feel more like myself. Any stress or tension has melted away. I took my daughter there to get a powder manicure. She had some tips that were separating and she said she needed new tips on 3 nails. They efiled some of thecolor and said they were going to fill it with gel. My daughter said no, she wanted powder. They kept insisting they were going to put gel. They finally (after I got stern with them) they said okay to powder. But they were not going to replace the tips that were pulling from the nail. Once again I had to force them to put new tips on for the 3 nails. The worst part of it was it took 2.5 hours to get this whole process done. My daughter had to check each nail as the woman filed because she kept filing each nail crooked. The nails turned ok, but I would never recommend this place unless you hours to spare for mediocre nails. read more

This is my neighborhood spot that I'm loyal to through and through, I've been going for months now and visit every other week for a gel mani and pedi! The prices are fair for the Upper East side, and the facility is clean and well kept. They also uphold every safety standard against Covid, including requiring masks indoors and the dividers. Not once have I ever seen any of the employees without their masks on, and if there were ever customers without a mask, they offer one immediately. Definitely a comfortable and safe environment in that regard! Additionally, their services have actually made my nails stronger, and grow faster. The main seller is the wonderful people who work there, many who have been there for quite a while and know their locals very well. I've gotten amazing service from Queenie, Sophia, and Angie! They are all careful with their work, kind, and mindful. That said, I've never been disappointed with any of the employees' work because their standards are always high. I'm not the type to write a bad review, but this wasn't a good nail experience. I asked for a powder gel manicure, square shape, and not too thick with the powder. She barely filed my nails and was pushing/buffing my cuticles back without any sort of oil or soak prior. When we got to the powder portion, she did two coats on my left hand and four coats on my right? Then barely buffed any of the powder down so they looked thick and had a few bumps. She really didn't seem to know what she was doing. The worst part was when she realized she made a mistake on the side of my nails she didn't use nail polish remover, she used the cuticle cutters to cut/pull it off my skin. The excess powder left on my skin she tried buffing off instead of asking me to wash my hands. I've been getting powder gel done for years so I know what to expect and this wasn't it. read more

I'm a regular customer. I came in for a manicure and they asked that I come back in 30 minutes. I did. They told me to pick a color and then looked at me and had a conversation in Korean. It was clear that they took someone else in for a manicure during those 30 minutes. After waiting THIRTY minutes (an hour after I initially arrived), one manicurist was done with the manicure that walked in when they told me to leave. Once I saw that they were going to the massage chair, I spoke up. I reminded them that they told me to come back on 30 minutes and that I've now been waiting for 30 additional meetings. Neither woman working looked up - they giggled. I said this isn't a way to treat a regular customer, I could have gone elsewhere. I was then told that they were closing and wouldn't be able to see me, after sitting in the salon for now 35 minutes. They were talking about me in Korean AGAIN and giggling - awful customer service! read more
