I was hosting a friend and he needed some suitcases to travel back with. We came here, and after searching a few stores and being directed where to go, we found exactly what we were looking for. There are hundreds of stores and boutiques here both inside and out, food booths as well. The building itself is a little run down inside and out, not a luxury shopping experience but if you walk around enough, I'm sure you would find something that you would like. He got a manicure and pedicure here as well. It is a one stop shop kind of place. I even found twenty bucks just lying on the ground. I felt lucky. I'd recommend this flea market! read more

A truly vibrant and unique experience in Miami. This place has undergone a lot of changes over the last few years. It is a lot cleaner and family friendly with weekend events for the kids and all. Find almost anything you need and have your auto fixes here on this vast property. read more

About a year ago, I was in this mess because I wanted to change the radio screen and put one that communicated with my phone. They charged me an arm and a leg for it, they did a bad job, when I spoke on the phone they didn't listen to me. The following week I went again and explained what was happening to me, supposedly according to them they changed my screen for a more expensive one and I had to pay money, the problem persisted, in short I went three times and they couldn't fix anything, I knew that They weren't doing a good job. The camera they put in the back of the car was sticking out about two inches, I told them and they told me it was the best way they had done it. Well, I gave up and I felt like they had stolen money from me in addition to not being able to talk on the phone. After a few times I see that Amazon was selling a Carplay Androi Auto radio screen for a super good price and I found a person to install it for me. The person installed the screen very professionally, the buttons that had been disabled at the Flea Market in Opalocka, he activated them again. He also told me that he had found the radio microphone lying inside the body, that was why he couldn't hear me. I installed a new camera, small, with very good clarity that did not protrude from the back of the car. In general he did a super excellent job and to this day I am very happy with the work. Last week I was organizing the things in the trunk and I saw that my spare tire had also been stolen. Do not go to the workshop that is in the Flea Market in Opa Locka, they are not professionals, they cut my glove compartment, anyway, I had a very bad experience read more

I really liked this place. Lots of stuff. Bought a few outfits here. The food is great. Great day activity. This and the swap shop are my favorite markets in south Florida. read more

One of the most culturally immersive destinations I have been to in the US! Experience a truly unique marketplace that offers everything from auto repair to furniture to pets and top notch entertainment. The dining options beat most cheap eats you'll find anywhere. Make the trip, you'll instantly feel like you're in a plaza in Latin America! read more

This is the best flea market in the Hialeah / Opa-Locka area and it is very popular for its local flair. You can go go-karting here! Plus there's over 900 vendors and many of my friends that live around here says that this is a fun place to be - because there's always something amusing going on and they always have something for you. Free parking in weekdays, $1 parking weekends. read more

I think it's hilarious that they somehow changed the name and added "Farmers Market" I'm imagining some of my more well to do but small brained friends from around the area checking this place out and being quite surprised. Go in like you are booster for an SEC school and leave with some braids-n-fades, bootleg Nikes and a gold fish read more

Meh...maybe I missed something. Should I have stayed longer, walked further or something? I dunno, but I wasn't all that impressed. If you want some Caribbean movies, it's great tho. Nicolato's DVD store has Cuban and Dominican movies, for example. Besides that, some of the household cleaning products and toiletries were the same as store price, others werent. i wouldnt say the best reason to come here is to get toiletries and household stuff like that, but watch the prices and haggle because, like i said, half of it's regular price and half of it's actually a good deal. As far as food goes, there was a good lookin cuban restaurant (I forgot the name) inside. The food smelled amazing. I was a little disappointed there were no produce stands, but maybe they prohibit that, i dunno. I also expected more food places with stuff like...i dunno churros, but nope, nuthin. I think I only saw maybe 3 places that sold food..or at least food that caught my eye lol. So..I guess come here before going to sam's for house stuff and the mall for jeans and sandals. Besides that, mehhh i mean, this place is huge, but things are generally regular price or more. There were lots of cute little cheap sandals tho and nice guys jeans. For this area, im sure this is the best of the best, but I went to a really great flea market in Philly where you could buy two dollar cutting boards and huge $1 serving bowls, but maybe i am comparing apples to oranges. There were some nice looking jeans, belts and sandals and lots of places with cleaning supplies, but not enough kitchen stuff (plates and electrodomesticos (small kitchen appliances)) for me. Where i did find kitchen appliances, they were cheap but with an expensive pricetag. Over $20 for a small no name blender. read more

This is absolutely filthy, depressing and disgusting market, I have never seen such a run down place. There is a horrid smell and decaying stalls. Whoever mentioned in the reviews that this is like a third world market was wrong - i have been to markets in 'third world countries' and vendors there actually take pride in selling their things and take care of their produce and the vending area. This place also has 'pet market' which is the most depressing - it has birds, bunnies, pigeons, guinea pigs in a terrible shape in crowded cages without clean water, there was a half alive baby chicken with broken wings crawling and covered in feces. This place should be shut down. read more

I rate this place on the sheer fact of the memories from my childhood. I hated to come here!!! Why? Because it wasn't kool to shop here back in the late 80's and throughout the 90's and we came here to shop often for everything from clothes, shoes, furniture anything you can think of if we needed it we got it from here. Now as an adult and coming back I see why we was here they have some of the best prices in miami. If you never been here burn one saturday afternoon here. read more

Welcome to the Opa-Locka Flea Market: the home of cheap, decaying vegetables, knock-off everything (shoes, belts, clothing, bags, jewelry, you name it, they've copied it), cheap but sketchy auto repair, pet shops, and street food that must not be eaten (less you crave tapeworms or a parasite of some sort). I've been coming here since I was a kid and yes, the place looks akin to some sort of ravaged third world country plagued by a disgustingly wicked smell (voodoo incense perhaps?) that assaults you if you happen to be within a one mile radius of the market. But I really enjoy coming here for cheap pet supplies (bird food, actual birds, fish, etc.) and produce that is dirt cheap. My recommendation: pay for the $1 parking and head to the back of the market where you will find a complete, straight line of vendors with produce. Don't buy anything until you've done one pass to scan for freshness and prices, then go back up the line and purchase the cheapest, best quality vegetables, fruits, etc.(Do not buy their meat, but their fresh seafood is usually pretty decent). I will admit, their prices have gone up, but how can Publix, Winn-Dixie, or for crying out loud Walmart even beat purchasing a basket full of vegetables for $1? Also, I highly recommend you don't eat the food they serve: just don't. I do however recommend getting a coconut drink where they will cut a physical coconut for you and put a straw in it so you can drink it water (I think its like $3). They also sell other items like clothing, bags, stereo equipment, etc, but I don't recommend buying it because its either very cheaply made or expensive. Overall, a hodgepodge of many, many different things but go there for cheap produce you can't find anywhere else and for a horrid smell that you can't find anywhere else on the face of the planet. read more

Worse darn place to go if it's raining, got stuck while shopping there for hours, entire place gets flooded, and the owners, don't clean the drains. What is worse the merchant s are afraid to speak out cause they get kicked out. That's the American dream. read more

Opa-Locka Hialeah Flea Market - Flea Markets Near Me - Miami, Florida

Awesome deals. I'm used to flea markets in turkey and this place is literally the same way, you find anything and everything you need. And way cheaper. The same dresses you see on ocean drive for as cheap as 10-20$. U need to come on the weekends because during the week some of the stands aren't open. That's the only minus point. Other than that it's easy to walk around since they tried to keep the sun away from people. Great place read more

If you are an animal lover. Don't go here. This place really needs to be investigated for animal cruelty. There are around 4 or 5 "pet" stores and all the animals are malnurished, sick with injured legs and not taken care of in the least. I was expecting a fun day at a flea market but I left depressed, sad, and not ok. read more

This place needs a MAJOR over haul. It has not changed in appearance since I have visited many years ago. The place is very dirty...I don't know how people could buy food from there. I once saw a rat running around there, that sight almost made me sick. My goodness. You will find some bargains, but not every stall has them. The stalls don't all open during the week. Apprently weekend is more a hive of activity. I don't like this place. read more

It all depends on what you're looking for. There is a whole range of things being sold and displayed from food all the way to animals (pets). Parking is $2 on the weekends and it's FREE during the weekdays (Mon-Fri). Very large parking lot, offers a lot of variety. Mainly Hispanic shops and businesses and there is also a lot of mechanic shops within the plaza. read more

I love this flea market but had not visited for some time. After hearing about the huge renovations, my family and I visited there yesterday after the rain. We were disappointed that we could not see any interior changes. My husband had to use the bathroom and they were mess so we had to make strategic buys to leave quickly. We purchased a few goods and left. We saw the nice newly painted sign, which was awesome but the artist needs to refresh and update the other signs. Please work on the interior drainage issues, place an attendant at the bathrooms so folks can stroll and not worry about their bladders. The bad smell near the fruit stands is now gone, which is great. read more

I love flea markets and I visit local ones everywhere I travel. But calling this place a flea market tarnishes the name. Full of potholes that are filled with standing water, you immediately notice a putrid odor. If you can get past that, you will notice dirty, unkempt stalls and displays that look like they haven't been cleaned or changed in years. That includes the food stalls that seriously made me gag. I hate giving bad reviews, but I know how disappointed I was when I put a whole day aside for flea market shopping only to return to my hotel within an hour. Do not waste your time! read more

Wish I had more time to get here at peak time. Half the places were closed at only 3 in the afternoon so the selection was spotty. But there were a TON of shops and you could buy almost anything there, from kitchen ware to cell phones to dresses. This place would be awesome when it's all up and running, it's too bad I had to go when most shops were closed. I'd go back to check it out when it's running at full strength I know it would be a sight to see. This is definitely in a poorer neighborhood of Miami (Opa Locka) but if you aren't scared go have a great time! read more

What a dump. Not worth the cost of parking. Guess it's okay for locals but nothing special stands out here.

This place is absolutely amaZing! Come on the weekend and bring casH! You can find plenty of deals on good stuff. The produce is my favorite. I got bags of fruits and veggies for under $10. Shout out to Scott!! read more

Not my typical hangout..but I was advised that I could get a an item that I needed for $30 that would have cost me $65 for the same product eslewhere. Other than that I would not hang out at this dumpy flea market.I have been to the Swap Shop in Sunrise and that is much nicer than this one in Opa-Locka-Hialeah. It is open from 6am -6pm, 7 days a week. If you live in Broward County it is kind of off the beaten path. Anyways I got what I needed and there is no reason to return. read more

Best flea market in S. Florida. Every time I go here I find an awesome new deal. Most recently, I had to get my tires aligned & my local tire shop wanted $100. Not here! Paid $40 & got it done in 20 minutes & they did a great job. My car is driving super straight now. Next time I'm coming here to shop for the tires, there were a bunch of places & you can inspect the tires before you buy. read more

They only reason I did not give this place a 5 * is because its not the Swap Shop in broward but thats another review lol. What I can say it pretty much has everything you would be looking for from your car to your house to clothes and food. Very great prices and a nice place to come on a weekend to just browse. Once my dad visits we will be sure to bring him by I know he will love it. read more

As a Flea Market aficionado (and more of a cheap bastard looking for great deals), I am forced to admit this as one of my favorite hangout spots. It's a vibrant location with a large Cuban population. Whether it's the smell of fresh Cuban food by mid afternoon or the sights and sounds, you can find anything here for a large discount. I was able to buy electronics for my kids, jewelry for my wife, AND household products for my house + powertools for myself. Did I forget to mention I got incredible deals? On the weekends, I take my kids to the go-kart area in the back. It's reasonably priced and keeps them busy. Let's be honest guys, if I was a millionaire I wouldn't be shopping here. I'd be at Aventura Mall. But for everyday items that there is no need to buy at a more expensive area, this place has everything. Long story short GREAT PLACE, GREAT DEALS if you plan on saving a buck or twenty. read more

I had to leave before I spent all of my money lol. So many good deals on nice merchandise.

I buy a lot of things here the only thing I don't like is that there's no air it's out in the open but other than that it's a great place to buy things and affordable read more

So today me and the family decided to go to the flea market to walk around etc. Haven't been here in years butttt wow! So much has changed. This used to be a hot spot but now it rarely has anything. Unless you're looking for pigeons and bedroom sets I wouldn't bother. It's basically a lot with trucks. They charge $1.00 entrance fee and other than that there's really not much to say about it. Just empty and kinda sad lol. I love going to flea markets that have a lot of things. Even if I'm not buying anything it's always nice to walk and take a look around. read more

Duke is in the house, I only come to walk and people watch , but i like it

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!! We went to sell some Yoga gear and the Manager told us AFTER SETTING UP THAT WE couldn't be next to other clothing spots that mind you they are EVERYWHERE !!! AND THAT THE other vendors complained!! There where spots back to back selling PURSES and clothes near us . We where selling high end YOGA OUTFITS and they told us we had to move to the back of the Flea Market where no one goes and they don't even have a roof She told us we had to buy a tent if we wanted to not sit in the sun. Basically they wanted for us to move where the sell tires and automotive. Who is going to buy women's accessories in the back of the flea market in the sun? After setting up we just packed up and so we just left. In the malls they have clothing stores next to each other and that's not a problem. DONT BOTHER going to make a little extra money if you have what EVERYONE sells at your typical flea markets. You'll waist $100.00 for the weekend and probably won't break even!!! read more

I hate to even give 1 star. But my family and I went to the dentist there Ignacio, She and her assistants refused to speak English and were very unprofessional and rude. When asked if they could speak English as a professional courtesy. The Dentist herself told me if I want and English speaking dentist go to an English one. This was only a small part of my encounter. Its no wonder why people are voting for Donald Trump. I bet you will speak English then or you can float back to your countries.. No to mention the flea market is a filthy place I am so upset that I have even forced my family to go there when I know I wouldn't!! read more

A place to just go and stroll around and just watch people. If you don't mind the crowd visit and talk to the produce vendors. Have fun just bartering.
