Service is always friendly and you can tell they enjoy what they do. I enjoy seeing their food truck at all the different festivals. Though I'd give it another try. What a total waste of time and effort. You look on line at the street food website. Yes!!! They are going to be nearby. You look at the online menu. Pick your favourite dish. Yum!! No facility to order online even though they claim there is. I've looked. There isn't...so you call the number on the website...."this number isn't a working number"...great....the same number is on the side of the truck btw... So you drive over to order f2f...when you arrive, there's a board outside the truck with about 20% of the online menu....if you're very lucky, they MIGHT have your dish. I wasn't lucky... Somebody is really taking the piss...really unprofessional...they shouldn't be allowed to use the street food finder website until they can be bothered to post the correct info regarding menu and contact. read more

I heard great things about this place but it didn't live up to the hype. We ordered the steak and pork tacos with the loompya sampler (beef, buffalo chicken and spinach). I wanted to order flan and sadly, they were out of it. I paid for my order and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. After 25 minutes of waiting, I approached the truck and asked if my food was ready (since everyone that ordered after me had already gotten their food). I was told that they were out of steak tacos and my order would be ready shortly. Another 15 minutes later, I FINALLY got my food. Unfortunately, my entire order was cold by the time it was given to me. The loompyas were ok, the best of the 3 was the beef. My husband came home with a bowl of adobo & some lumpias. I was a bit disappointed. The lumpias we got were burnt & most of the ones that were in the bag were the spinach and buffalo ones. I was hoping to try the rest of the lumpias listed on their menu since it was suppose to be a lumpia sampler. The flavors that they serve are different. I'm use to eating pork, beef, & chicken lumpias. The adobo was a bit sweet & too salty for my liking but then again everybody has a different way of making it. I came after hearing wonderful reviews and unfortunately my experience didn't live up to the expectations set forth. We decided to pre-order hours ahead of them opening, and got told half an hour before picking it up that it would be delayed. It had been snowing so I understood that. When I finally picked up my food and took it home, I realized that my order was incorrect. My side of garlic rice was missing and the lumpia platter I ordered was also incorrect. It was absolutely delicious and so flavorful I wished I had ordered two despite the fact that it was a good sized portion. After watching foodie travel videos and seeing pictures of halo halo floating around social media, I was curious to try the treat. So, I was excited to find out that there was a Filipino food truck that serviced Syracuse, and that it would be nearby. The owner was really nice as I ordered. I came in the middle of the afternoon, and they were sold out of a lot of things-- word to the wise, this place is popular!- but luckily they still had the dishes I wanted to get. I opted for the halo halo, and the loompya, which are a Filipno style egg roll. This is Filipino fusion, not traditional, and the loompya came in creative flavors like philly cheesesteak and buffalo chicken. I don't eat meat, so I ordered the spinach and artichoke and the jalapeño popper ones. The loompya were really good. Fresh out of the fryer, warm, and with a tangy sauce. The halo halo was an experience. This was my first time trying it. There are a lot of different flavors and textures, and it was different and refreshing. It's nice to have some savory tastes like beans in the mix, because drinking a tall cup of ice cream alone can be too sweet. I am a huge fan of Oompa Loompyas. Their American fusion lumpia are outstanding. But let's talk about how good the garlic rice is. It is great in its own but when you get it with their pork Adobe or bistek it's next level. I would also like to mention their puffy tacos which are a personal favorite.
