When I arrived at Omnibus I was greeted with open arms and I felt the staffs excitement for my wedding day. They took one look at me and said I have the perfect gown for you. Well they pulled out this dazzling silky gown completely beaded and fit like a glove. I was in love and knew I came to the right place. I purchased the dress at that moment they started the process for some areas that needed a little tightening. I then came back a few weeks later and picked up my gown. EVERYONE LOVED THIS DRESS and it looked FABULOUS in photos. I went back in another time with my mother to find her the most perfect mother of the bride gown. My mother was treated as if she was their own mother and they took the time to make sure she was comfortable in the gown and felt beautiful as she is. (She does not wear dresses ever) They did a fantastic job on the alterations and even made her a shawl with leftover material to make her even more happy. I actually really liked this store!…read more First, it's a huge location and very organized. Housewares in the front, racks and racks of clothes, shoes and accessories along the back and sides. I ended up buying a really nice purse here that you can tell was a legit return and not some knockoff piece. I saw lots of people buying clothes although nothing really stood out to me in that department. The staff is exceptionally friendly. They are thankful you are there and purchasing. As it's the soft opening they also have an additional 20% off taking place on all items and are giving out free snacks in the front. The only paid point here is the parking lot. It wraps around the back which is helpful but it's not nearly enough parking for the amount of customers they seem to be getting.

I've also known the owner for years - she is a kind, respectable person who truly cares about her customers. However, over the past year or two, I've noticed a decline in customer service. There are a few sales associates whose approach often makes shopping uncomfortable. They seem eager to help younger women or those who fit the mold of a certain aesthetic, but if you don't, the experience changes. Instead of showing flattering pieces that could accentuate your positives, they tend to pull oversized items - with more of an appeasing "let's cover you up" attitude rather than talking to you positively about what could look good on you. Even when I share my preferences and typical size, I'm often presented with clothing that feels mismatched to what I've expressed I like. At this point, it feels less like a mistake and more like inexperience or a lack of understanding of how to style different body types. Additionally, hiring only sales staff who look and act "trendy" misses the mark when it comes to connecting with the broader demographic of women who should be embraced and celebrated as valued customers. It's too bad, because the clothes themselves are cute - but the experience has become so unpleasant that I will be taking this place off my list of places to shop.

This fashion boutique has something for everyone from really cool cloths to unique jewelry and wonderful little Nick Nacks for all. Melissa has wonderful ideas and never tells you something looks great for the sale. And no I don't have stock in her shop I just like to give credit where credit is due and it's always nice to have a positive post - I think. What a great addition to our town of Huntington.

I arrived 5 minutes before closing. 5 other customers where in the store, I was greeted with the announcement that they where closing in 5 minutes. When 5 more people came in the store, it was announced they had 4 minutes to shop. We all where rushed to pick our items, and get out of the store. I found the staff abrasive and I will not be returning.
