So i just left onxy, all I can speak on is day shift. The girls were terrible had bad attitudes. I called asked if there was cover I was told was not until 7:30pm. Got their 7:15pm of course it's over $10. I paid fee then went change $60 a dance said make sure tip bartender for changing money out. Mind I was until I was told to do so. The bartenders were aloof and dancers sat in booth and did nothing for an hour that I was there . I left and plan to never come again. Mind you I was prepared spend $500. I took my atm card to Magic city. I can name few strip clubs better customer service and dancers. read more

Let me begin by telling you about myself I am a 28 y/o, AA, well educated female. I frequent ATL strip clubs on vacation and usually enjoy the music and the dancers. However, I will not be returning to Onyx. My husband and I visited Onyx on 8/11/12 and neither of us liked the experience. Here was our experience in a nutshell. Parking: $20 to park remotely close to the club $50 + to park on the club parking lot $10 to park down the street on an unsecured lot and walk up a hill (ladies 6 inch heels and hills don't mix well) Admission: $20 to enter. At the admission register I asked for some $1.00 bills. The response from the cashier (as she looked down her nose at me) "I only have 100 stacks. Anything less get at the bar." Excuse me? Really miss? Your a cashier at a strip club! She said it like she was sitting on some high horse. Inside the club: Once in the club it looks like most typical "upscale" (as upscale as a strip club can really be) strip clubs in ATL. It is larger than Magic city with limited seating. Dances from the strippers were $10. I received 1 dance from a girl who had a nasty attitude. I normally tip the dancers but not her! Also when I requested the dance I sat on a nearby couch that no one was sitting at to receive the dance. I had not sat down for 30 seconds before some guy says "You can't sit there. Well you can sit there but it cost $500.00." I laughed in his face. Needless to say I got the rest of the dance standing. Shortly after that my friends and I moved to another part of the club where we learned that in order to sit at a couch it cost an additional $300.00+ dollars. I also saw some table seating near the main stage. However, you would need to get there early to get one of those seats. Also I am unsure if those seats will cost you a small fortune. Dancers: Aside from the dancer I received a dance from the other dancers appeared friendly towards customers. I tipped a few on stage. Apparently you are not allowed to touch the dancers on the main stage (sorry I like to slap their ass while I tip). Drinks: For a martini I paid $9.00. Not sure how much bottle service was. Bathroom: Disgusting! With a LONG slow mining line with a toilet that didn't flush! Excuse me Onyx owners but you can rent out $500.00 couches but can't fix your plumbing? They sell drinks all night so obviously people are going to have to use the restroom! Overall: Onyx is not worth your hassle. The music was typical strip club shake your ass music. The dancers were the usual thick chicks with ass injections and slim waist. If you want a good time with sexy women and much less haste go to STROKERS on Friday or Sunday!!!! It's a little further out but worth the trip!! read more

What can I say about Onyx!?? I went to Onyx three days after Christmas and let me tell you, the ladies are always working. The $5.00 lap dance was cute, from a slim, light-skinned chick. She did that (LOL)! After you go to Nakato's for a great Japanese dinner, check out Onyx which is a few doors down. You won't regret it!!! read more

At onyx now with some friends. I ordered the bacon chicken ranch quesadilla... It's great I took off the onions and added jalepenos. But I'm disappointed because I couldn't finish it all and when I asked for a togo box I was charged $1 (shouldn't that be apart of your business cost) I'm a customer. I shouldn't have to pay for a Togo box. read more

I never appreciated Onyx until I moved to Dallas, TX. Although the women are gorgeous here they don't hold a candle stick to my beloved ATL strippers. They are for that money and are with WHATEVER! The atmosphere alone in other places is nothing compared to Onyx ATL. I agree with the other yelper, its in a league of its own. from street pharmacist to cooperate the affluent of "the black mecca" can be found here giving these strippers their life. I'm no groupie but any one who's anyone can be found randomly making it rain here. Hell even if you regular these strippers make you feel like you won for the night lol. Anyways I'll be visiting soon and i'll be paying my respects lol. read more

"Oh Yeah!" in that voice that sounds like you just drank a gulp of cold water on a hot summer day. This is what I call a freakin strip club!!! Finally! Now I see why ATL is known for their strip clubs. I saw P**** Poppin on the hand stands and everything. They get it in! And making it rain? Lord, Thunder and lightning all night. (ok that was corny) but cash was everywhere. Don't even think about it though. The bouncers have a close eye on every bill that lands and they are bigger than Suge Knight so don't try to reach. lol. Me and my cousin went there on a Thursday first. It was cool. So we decided to come back with the fellas the next night. Completely different atmosphere. Balloons every where, smoke, DJ was live. It was a party. We got a VIP table and ofcorse everyone was really nice to us there. The women are gorgous. They dance completely nude! with alcohol served! They can't do that in NY. You can smoke in there too! All different sizes are in there too. I was under the impression you had to be a thick girl to dance in a club down south but nope. The slim ones make money too. They dance in teams it looked like because I saw the same group of girls go on stage together both nights. They split their tips so maybe thats why. (I notice everything. lol) Mad energy, they get it crunk (do people still say that?) Saw a white girl with the biggest fake behind I ever seen. (you might think I hate cuz i say that for every strip club I review but my cousin ended up getting a lap dance from her and it was fake. Trust me. lol) Onyx is definetely a go to on a Friday night if you're in Atlanta visiting and like strip clubs. $20 to get in and it's worth it. They close at 4pm and its packed till then. Now I didn't go to Platnium 21 or Magic City but everyone said its about the same thing anyway. read more

I went here on a Saturday night. I was in town visiting family and my boyfriend and I wanted to go to a strip club. The place was easy to get to. There is self parking for $10 and valet for $20. We did valet. The attendant parked the car but gave us our keys back but when we were leaving he did go get the car for us. It was $10 to get in. Drinks are cash only. The vibe was nice. The music was perfect, the girls were all shapes and sizes. We enjoyed ourselves and we enjoyed our dances from the girls. read more

I love love love Onyx. You get what you pay for, great music, pretty girls, and a fun time. Be prepared, as a female, to spend at least $50-100 to have a decent time (if you pregame). read more

Great vibe. Go Tuesday Nights Great Food menu and Cheap! Got the 16oz steak and side for $11 can't beat it. Day shift is Free Pool and ALL drinks Are $5 AND food read more

The place was ok, the girls were ok not as hot as I expected "Atlanta strippers" to be. We ordered drinks and the waitress brought us the cup half empty! $20 for parking, $20 entry fee.! It was ok, but not worth it! Magic city was definitely better! read more

This is by far the worst strip club i've ever been to. THESE were a bunch of fake booty, no titty having, saggy clit piercing hoes. The only reason why its recieving at two star from me is because there was this one girl that had me amazed with her moves. Other than that, BLAHHHHHHHHHHHH. It was $30 to get in and to take money out of the atm, its a $7 charge. thats $37 i'll never see again read more

Will never go back! Valet Parking is $40 but they give you your key back after they park your car so you can walk to your car afterwards. $30 cover charge... Bright skinned bartender is rude.. She purposely fails to make eye contact to those who approached the bar. We stood at the bar for 30+ minutes trying to get a drink... Finally my friend girl went to the other bar tender who was obviously bar tending for the entire club by herself. Who wants to tip the dancers after this experience? read more

Not as expensive as Magic City, but the girls are great and they work the pole. No homo. lol. $10 to get in, good music, as the evening progresses the crowd get thick usually an hour or two before they close. Drinks are good and strong, average price. They do a few tricks in there for stage performances so you wont be disappointed. read more

Okay this place was cool. lol. I came here with my boyfriend and we had a good time. The girls were nice. we came here on a Tuesday night, it was free to get in and they had $5 dollar drinks. Parking fee was $10, interesting. Will I come back here again? Sure. It wasnt that bad. We went on a non busy night. read more

All I can say is Music Video and if you want to have a real good Time, bring atleast $200.00 with you, its all good.

Who goes to the strip club and sits for an hour and never see one stripper. We did! You advertise 50 Strippers and can't get one to hit the floor before 10 ? Absolute fail on your part! Brought my man out for some couples fun and ended up playing pool and having a couple drinks before heading bCk to our hotel. The bartender was horrible 10 people in the club and you still have to get her attention to get a drink. Won't be coming back. Guess I better stick to what I know MAGIC CITY is way better ! read more

Its okay. Dont like that they snatch phones and go through photos if they see you trying to snap a selfie. If you don't want photos taken you should post that somewhere. The dancers are cute. The wings and fries were pretty good. Kinda hard to snag a server. It was an okay night out though. read more

It was great. I went with my husband and we had a great time.It was our first time going to a strip club in Atlanta. I loved it the drinks were your normal price five dollars for a bud light lime and ten for shots. Which I had six of. Their lapdances are ten dollars which I thought was the best because up here it's more then that for a dance. So the husband and I pretty much spent a good three hundred dollars for the dances all together. The shots the atmosphere just how it was in general was great. Also I have to add...if your going to be balling...please please come correct...your not making it rain with dollars...you make it rain when there are twenties, fifties and hundreds...you know REAL money. Just saying. read more

Came to ATL to visit my best friend for graduation.. The only reason why I give this establishment three stars is because my wings was cooked correctly. Beware this place does not take debt cards for entry. Went to pay for my food and beverage services and my waitress came back to tell me that the only excepted cards with chips. So make sure you have plenty of cash before you arrive! Overall great food and amazing drinks. read more

I went to Onyx on a Saturday night with my gf. It was very uneventful. The girls were cute, but I've seen better at Magic City and Cheetah's. They didn't even get naked!!! I would recommend you save your money and go to "The City". I don't think I'll be back. read more

Not Impressed. I know the life of a stripper may not be ideal but at least pretend you're having fun. Most of the women walking around looked like they had an attitude. My husband bought me a dance and the chick didn't even smile n say hello. She danced in front of me, not touching me at all. The dancers here attractive but weren't impressive. I saw like two girls do pole tricks. They have hookah, pool, and i believe they have food here as well. There were plenty of girls and females walking around selling shots. The shot girls were a little too chatty for my liking. I wasn't thrilled with my Atlanta strip club experience. read more

This club is dumb nice. Don't believe anyone who says you won't have fun. If you got money then you got plenty fun to have. Only downside is finding a table if you want to chill by the stage. But if you are VIP then you good. read more

Went here last night after hearing a lot about it. I got there around 9:45 and had to pay 10$ for parking. I paid another 10$ at the door. When I got in there nobody was there but around 11:00 people started to come in. The place was nice and big with plenty of places to sit. The dancers were good looking even the waitresses were. Both were friendly. Overall I recommend it but compared to other strip clubs I've been to the dancers had more of a look but don't touch vibe. read more

This is my first review on yelp and I opened my account 5 minutes after I left Oryx because of the bad service I received. The parking lot was full of cars, so I assumed there would be at least some people in there; The place was completely empty, and I decided to leave immediately. I asked for a refund and they rudely declined, the girl working there rolled her eyes at me when I asked if I could come back a little later. The security guard was craking jokes. How can you happily take $20 from someone and 5 minutes later treat them like they don't exist. I hope that $20 was worth it. And I hope people avoid your establishment and visit real clubs where they are treated like gentlemen. read more

Onyx Houston is waaaay better than here, Me and my gf recently just went in Dec,bet on vacation, first of all we got there around 1130 ish and it was dead, there no free parking it was 20$ to park, the dances are your usual 20$ but the sucked I mean no lap dance or nothing they just danced around us when we paid for dances, the waitresses kept forcing us to buy the shots they were coming around with I got forced in buying 4 shots from one and 2 of them weren't even for me by this drunk waitress walking around with shots. The hookah is hella expensive 45 dollars I smoked on it for about 10 minutes and needed a refill which was another 10$ and the hookah girls kept begging for tips like gtf out of here. In all would I go back.... NO read more

I absolutely hated this place ......I went here because it was a good friend of mine bIrthday party and I did not have a good time AT ALL!!!! When I got to the door I was rudely greeted by a manly looking woman security guard who before she even said hello she stated that the only way I was coming in was to pay $100 because I had on open toe sandals. She stated that it was a liability to have my toes out because they could get crushed EXCUSE ME HE/SHE !!!! If they could get crushed what difference does $100 make I think she is pocketing that money unless this company is completely idiotic ..... anyway my friend is very important to me so I went in .... the dancers were nice and friendly and the food was amazing however the IT at the door set the tone and it ruined my whole evening read more

The Click and I met here the last Friday of the month in October 2011. They host a cigar event during the Happy Hour, where drinks are reduced and they have a guy hand rolling cigars. The cigars were excellent. I was surprised. The girls were nice and one of the better selections around Atlanta. The DJ talks and talks and talks, someone really should tell him that we are not there to hear him. It went on and on sometimes stopping the music and bringing the girl to a dead stop in the middle of their stage set. It was a good mixed crowd, we had several ladies with us and all of them had a cigar. We had a good time. The audio system is nice, the club is upscale, they spent a lot of money on the setup, bar and seating areas. Its a nice spot. Due to how expensive they are regularly though, i doubt they'll see me other than on these last of the month Fridays. It was supposed to be free parking, it wasn't, they hit you for $2 just because, no excuse, he said "it was supposed to be free parking but we're expecting a lot of people so we're just charging 2" entry was free however and the margarita/quervo i was drinking was $8 so i didn't qualify for the bar brand happy hour discount they were giving. I'd go back and i'd recommend it, but i'll be sure to warn them about the non-stop yacking of the DJ. read more

Had a great time! Went on a Saturday night there was plenty of sexy damcers. A lot of couples and women patrons. Club has a nice safe vibe. Definitely would recommend for anyone visiting Atlanta. read more

Girls were dope! That's the main reason to go to Onyx. The amount of CHEEKS in the building is crazy! Must go VIP for bachelor party and you will not be disappointed! read more

Okay, came here on a Saturday night. Maybe I'm just used to Stadium night club in DC but I was underwhelmed. Girls average looking and the club isn't clean at all. It looks like a local skate land but with a stage. For the grand appearance of the outside you would think it would be a little nicer. And the security is rude and uninviting as well. Actually most of the staff is rude..bartenders, security, parking attendant all had attitudes. On the positive side ( I won't be too harsh) the parking and cover charge isn't bad and for those who aren't paying for VIP, they have plenty of free seating. They also have pool tables if you like pool.. And the music is really good. Overall I'd give it a 6 out of 10. If you're just looking for ass and good music then you'll be happy. If you're looking for beautiful women (with ass), luxury, good customer service and a nice atmosphere then nah, keep looking. read more

From DC area. I was there for 2 hours and not one stripper took off all their clothes. Lap dance $10 EXCEPT they don't actually touch ur lap. Go to Follies down the street. Had a ball there! ~King Robb read more

I was visiting from Chicago and I must say this place is nicea little pricey but worth it. The girls were bad ass and the talent was well worth the $30 I paid to get in. Unless youre dropping stacks expect to just be a spectator read more

If I could give this place NO STARS I WOULD! Not because the music or the dancers aren't good (because I've always considered them tops in Atlanta) but because of the way management handled a dining situation! I ordered one thing but when I received my food I got the wrong order. This isn't uncommon in restaurant settings but my issue is being told that what I ordered was not available so instead the chef thought it was okay to send something else out with the hopes that I wouldn't notice or that it would suffice. This is poor practice for a business. What I ordered is rarely purchased by customers so they didn't have all the ingredients in stock...my suggestion would be to take it OFF the menu because people like me will see it & order it!!! But let me take it a step further, the manager (an older, white gentleman) came out & took my critique for attitude. Offered no apology or solution & walked off while I was still talking. Let's be clear, it is a club so it's loud so my voice was elevated but none the less I was making a valid complaint! I too am a business owner & understand the concept of the "customer is always right"! He clearly wanted to be right in this situation & saw no need to make me a returning customer & TRUST when I say it will be a cold day in HELL before I EVER step foot in this establishment again! I DO NOT like to be mistreated under any circumstances so the fact that I wasn't valued as a customer is disappointing, to say the least. I have always liked coming to Onyx but will think twice before offering my patronage to a place that doesn't acknowledge when they are in the wrong & walks away from customers before the issue is resolved in a civilized manner!!! read more

Worst strip club In Atlanta when i arrived I was in shock that one must go through 3 very perverted pat downs b4 entering the club . These guys are worst than TSA at the airport. Ive never had a security guard put his hands down my pants and grab my penis as a method of search! I will never return to Onyx as long as i live . Its never that serious to go to a strip club! smh . read more

My girls and I went on Friday June 7 (during the Atlanta Greek Picnic weekend) and it was okay. I'm a straight female but those girls were very attractive. The only downsides are the two drink minimum and how early you have to get there to get a good seat. We got there early to get a good seat but we were the only people giving the girls money, aside from two groups of lesbians, so all but 2 were boring. However, when more men arrived, they did more so it got better I guess. The girls do get fully naked, which is unique to many ATL strip clubs, and they do give private dances which I think are only $10 (base charge). The bathroom, however, is TERRIBLE! Any place that serves drinks needs to have a decent bathroom. Overall, I'm not rushing to go back BUT I did learn a few tricks... read more

Nice looking dancers, but RUDE staff. Not only do they hold the line and charge you a ridiculous about of money for the cover charge (not to mention parking is $20) THE DRINKS ARE HIGH AS HELL!!! Me and my friend bought a drink when you first walk in and after getting bumped into by gobs of people we found a place to stand at the bar in the back. It didn't take long to finish the $10 water downed drink, but as soon as we did. The dark-skinned clown face, mermaid track wearing bartender asked us if we were getting another drink if not we needed to move. There were gobs of people standing around the bar and nobody was purchasing drinks. We kinda looked at each other SURPRISED by the rudeness and continued watching the dancers... Moments later she threatened us with security. For WHAT? Must of been a slow night for her, next time ease up on the makeup. WHEN IN THE CITY, I WILL NEVER GO TO THAT CLUB AGAIN. read more
