The Good Doctor Onyia was a terrific ENT provider for fixing my deviated septum. He has a marvelous bedside manner that includes a hearty greeting every time and an enduring smile and twinkle in the eye. He was refreshingly high-spirited, which could set any nervous patient at ease, but appropriately austere when explaining the medical condition, procedures, and options.
His Pres office has all the delightful parking inconveniences of a major hospital, but is easy to access on the fourth floor once you get inside. It's clean and tidy, and care is prompt. I never waited more than a couple minutes for my scheduled visits. The clinic staff are all very pleasant and cheery -- the... intake nurse? receptionist? not sure what the appropriate title is for the first contact at the reception desk... always greeted me sweetly and set a cheerful tone, and the nurses were equally pleasant. The schedulers, patient liaisons who called for the pre-op rigor morale, everyone really whom I interacted with regarding this procedure were simply lovely. It seemed like they were generally happy to work for this guy, which inevitably creates a positive environment for patients/customers.
He does the surgical procedures at Kaseman, which is much easier and immediate access from your car. Again, these staff are positively lovely! From the receptionists to the nurses and everyone in between, everyone who interacted with me, when finding out Onyia was my surgeon said "Oh, I just LOVE him! You're in wonderful hands!" I think it really says a lot about a person when their colleagues are that fond of them, and a lot about a doctor when their staff are genuinely happy being at work.
To boot, he's clearly very experienced at this gig. any time mention of the procedure duration came up, it was always "well, it's a 45 minute procedure but he'll be done well before that." I highly recommend fixing that septum if you haven't breathed through your nostrils in 20 years, and I highly recommend this provider for doing so. read more
