Came for lunch yesterday. The owner is an expat Brit who is personable and like all good Brits enjoys his football. We chatted briefly about my trip and the surrounding area.
The place is reasonably small but has a nice ambiance about it. This is what I imagine British pubs are like - small and intimate. There's a nice screen by the entrance to watch the games on and he advertises what's showing on a board outside.
I ordered a half portion of steak pie which came plated with chips and salad. Serving size was about right for the price - just under 5 Euros. The pie was delicious and hit the spot nicely.
Service was pretty good - food came out in about fifteen minutes. He came by briefly to follow up and that was his last visit. I brought my cash to him at the bar without having been handed a bill.
