Honestly, we initially chose this restaurant mainly because the bathrooms were wheelchair accessible (my mom has trouble walking). The waitress was so nice and helpful that we decided to eat there for lunch. It wasn't busy because we were there during the low season but even so there was plenty of (shaded and sheltered) seating available.
Sitting in a bit of shade, in a light breeze from the Atlantic Ocean, we had a very enjoyable lunch consisting of shrimp in garlic and a pizza di Campo (thin crust, salami, onion, mushroom and pesto). It took about 20ish minutes for the food to come out but when you are sitting on a comfortable sunlit terrace, in an old Portuguese town, watching people stroll by on the cobblestone streets, with the dim sounds of the ocean waves breaking in the background, you tend not to be in a hurry.
Our food was pretty good, better than I would have expected from a restaurant we kind of randomly chose. They offer a nice variety of appetizers, sandwiches, pastas and pizzas. The desert menu also looked very enticing and they apparently make their own gelato. Unfortunately, we were too full to try it. Solid four stars, maybe even five stars, if the gelato lives up to its promise in the future. We would definitely consider coming back!
