They were great when I initially got my loan, but perspective of the entire process is needed for an accurate review.
I recently sold my vehicle that secured my initial loan with them. Needing to get into another vehicle as soon as possible, and not wanting this loan to be outstanding when applying for my upcoming car loan, I inquired about how long it would take for them to provide me with proof my loan has been paid in full. Something I would need to provide my new lender in order to receive the best terms possible.
They stated that 15 days was the normal turn around time. I asked if this could be sped up pending their receipt of a check from the dealership I sold my vehicle to. I even arranged for the dealership to show proof the check was cashed and funds were deducted from the dealership account. Cashed and deposited on one end, and withdrawn from the other end, we're all good, right? Nope! They weren't willing to budge, so I'll wait for their mindless dinosaur policy to run its 15 day course.
My only reasoning as to why they won't budge is because I'm only 4-5 payments into my 60 month payment term and am paying the note off early which means they won't receive the total interest they initially thought they would over the course of the entire loan. read more
