Stay away from One Way Air. My experience with One Way Air has been one of the most frustrating consumer experiences I have ever had. What started as a preventative maintenance visit turned into a sales appointment before the scheduled maintenance was even completed. Instead of performing the service I requested, the visit quickly became focused on selling me a replacement system. For approximately two years, my preventative maintenance visits repeatedly included discussions about replacing my AC system. The final maintenance visit became a sales conversion that resulted in replacing an operational system. I was sold a two-stage HVAC system specifically for humidity control and improved comfort. The system installed did not match the configuration I understood I was purchasing and has not performed as represented. The problems started immediately after installation. Within the first few days, I observed installation concerns, including an improperly sealed filter/media cabinet, sealing deficiencies, condensation issues, and areas of the installation that were visibly wet. Within about 10 days, I observed rusting screws and dripping sealant (mastic). A newly installed HVAC system should not be showing these types of issues. The system also developed a blower motor/module failure requiring warranty repair. My home is still not cooling properly, and despite documentation showing the blower is not operating correctly, One Way Air continues to dispute the issue rather than resolve it. The warranty repair remains incomplete, and I still have not received a clear corrective plan. One Way Air has been to my home approximately five times since installation, yet the problems remain unresolved. I was forced to hire two independent HVAC professionals at my own expense because the issues were not being resolved. Their evaluations documented concerns that remain unresolved. It has now been approximately 40 days since installation, and I am left with an HVAC system that is not performing properly, an unresolved warranty repair, and no clear path forward. I replaced an operational AC system expecting improved comfort and reliability. Instead, I ended up with a system that performs worse than the one I replaced. The lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability has completely eroded my confidence in One Way Air. On Monday, Ryan advised that he had received my emails and would be sending a written course of action "momentarily." As of Friday evening, I still had not received the promised written plan. The responses I received did not address my specific questions, provide supporting documentation, or offer a clear corrective plan. They felt like repeated explanations without resolution or accountability for the documented installation and equipment concerns. Do your research before hiring One Way Air. Get everything in writing before giving any money. Make sure the exact equipment configuration, performance expectations, and scope of work are clearly documented. Do not rely solely on verbal representations or a generic invoice that only lists model numbers without clearly explaining what you are receiving. If I had known this would be my experience, I would not have hired One Way Air. Learn from my experience: verify exactly what equipment is being installed, get every promise in writing, and make sure you fully understand what you are receiving before you pay. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. My air conditioning unit is only 1.5 years old and is maintained under OneWay Air's maintenance plan. I recently scheduled a service call because the unit was not cooling properly. The technician flushed the drain line and performed other maintenance, and the unit began blowing cold air again. However, approximately 45 minutes after the technician left, I discovered a large water stain on my bathroom ceiling that had not been present prior to the service visit. The ceiling was visibly damp, indicating active water intrusion and resulting property damage. This unit was installed by OneWay Air, and I have entrusted the company with both the installation and ongoing maintenance of the system. It is deeply concerning that immediately following service, my home sustained water damage. My previous HVAC unit experienced numerous issues over the years and never caused damage of this nature. When the technician returned, I was disappointed by the lack of accountability and concern shown regarding the situation. Rather than addressing the issue, I was essentially told that the water damage was not their responsibility and that a manager would contact me on Monday. I now have property damage to my home that occurred immediately after a service visit, and I expect this matter to be taken seriously. I am requesting prompt communication from management, a thorough investigation into the cause of the leak, and a resolution that addresses both the HVAC issue and the resulting damage. One Way Air - Water damage to ceiling - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Lehigh Acres, Florida

All tho this is painful to write, but you need to know. My experince was fine in the beginning, then I needed a new air conditioning system. They came out within a day to replace which was great!! all tho I had to call them back for not taking care of the system properly, then, after two more calls They flooded my garage ceiling with water and all over my car. Their response was slow. I haven't heard what they are choosing to do to repair their mistake. I paid cash and should not have. So at this point I'm screwed. read more

It's Saturday October 11th we called one way air for a clogged drainage line from our air handler. Andrew Gutierrez with one way air responded within two hours he cleared the line , cleaned up the water puddling in the air handler closet and the hallway outside. Very professional , clean and courteous and at a very fair price. Will always recommend one way air they do a great job! read more

Called them out to service a 3 ton air conditioner. He pulled the upper cover by the blower which had dust on it and he called it mold. And for $2900 they can kill the mold and clean the vents. Or we can replace the unit for $9000. This was nothing but a high pressure sales call. Misinforming the customer to sell services not needed. I will never use this company they are horrible! read more

I signed a 2 year maintenance agreement with this firm in Nov. 2025. On May 15 th I had my first scheduled maintenance. Derek was scheduled to arrive between 9-11 am. I was told I was the first appointment. I called the office at 10:50 ish as I had not heard a thing. At 11:19 Derek showed up. As per there preventative maintenance checklist they are to inspect 32 items. I have 2 units which implies a 64 item checklist. Derek left my house at 11:37. He never entered the house to inspect the air filters. As there was no water on the pad outside he did not even clean and flush the drain lines. I notified Cheryl in the office that I wanted a refund for the remainder of my 2 year maintenance agreement. She e mailed me the amount i should receive. It is a month later and I have not received my check. DO NOT USE OR TRUST THUS FIRM!! They do not honor their maintenance agreements!!! And they refuse to refund your money!! read more

The best experience I've ever had with an ac company Jeremy came out went through everything in detail. He was the only person to notice my dryer vent was behind the condenser and half the coil was completely impacted.He took all the panels off and cleaned it and now my house finally cools to 74 and before it wouldn't go to 77. I have a split AC unit on my shed that was just installed by another company. Sadly, just a few months later, it appeared to have a slow leak and stopped cooling. I was referred to this company by a close friend who works for a roofing company. He mentioned that they really knew split systems and would have me fixed up quickly. I'm in meetings or on the phone constantly, so I emailed in a service request. To my surprise, the owner emailed me back to set up service for me.... like wow, real personal service. Diego, the tech came out and knew exactly what to do. He did a pressure test with nitrogen and found the leak in no time. He vacuumed down the system to a few hundred milibar and had me inviting the penguins back for a dinner party it was so cold. To top it all off, I was very surprised on how reasonable the bill came out to be. Like, when does that happen these days?
