It was very professional with emailed documentation that explained everything in detail, and allowed me to confirm what I wanted online. Ultimately, I decided on a new unit (AH & AC). On the installation date, they had the old unit removed, new unit installed, and up and running in 4 hours. Really great people. I recently had a power outage at the house that flipped the circuit breaker, and the unit would not start up. I called them and they sent someone out the same day, and he had it resolved in a matter of minutes. Every person I've seen from this company is profession, courteous, and easy to talk to. I hired Rocket Cooling to service the AC in a short-term rental that I had recently purchased in…read moreOkeechobee. Wanting to avoid any issues for future tenants, I trusted them (as they had serviced the unit for the previous owner) to perform a proper inspection & maintenance. They claimed the blower motor needed to be replaced & scheduled a return visit to install it. I gave them access via lockbox to complete the work. A few months later, the attic unit overflowed, flooding the home, causing over $30,000 in damages. The weight of the water caused the unit to shift in the attic, crushing the overflow pan & collapsing the ceiling. When the tech came back to assess the situation, he admitted that he had forgotten to service the unit when replacing the motor & stated that the drain line was clogged & the shut-off switch was improperly installed. They then billed me for coming out to see the damage & even followed up with a reminder to pay on Christmas Day. After several failed attempts of trying to resolve the issue with management, I requested their license & insurance info via email & received no response. After my text response on Christmas Day letting them know that they only had 2 days left, by law, to respond to my email request, the invoices stopped, but they have now hired legal representation & claim they are not responsible. I've waited over 2 years to post this review hoping they would take accountability & make things right. I understand that mistakes can happen but what's inexcusable is their refusal to take responsibility. Meanwhile, my rental remains vacant. It's been a nightmare. I expected professionalism & accountability but was met with negligence & legal stonewalling. I am now sharing my experience to warn others about the kind of company Rocket Cooling has shown itself to be.
