I always preferred the old school barber shops over the run of the mill franchises and I was so happy my wife suggested I try out Floyd's and met George. When he moved to his own place at 75 Main I followed him to the new location where he has flourished..... (the line up of locals constantly rotating through his shop is testament). The shop's atmosphere is awesome, totally friendly and relaxing. It's almost like out of a movie, where the locals jaw it up with the barber and one gets a real homey feeling. I had cuts from all 3 of the current barbers, plus others who come in part time or fill in for another when they're off. The experience and cut has been outstanding each time, I've never been disappointed. What separates these guys from the "stylists" at the other franchises is that they really know what they're doing. I'd like to see any of those others at Fantastic Cuts etc. handle a straight razor! After each cut, they clean you up using an old school straight razor. I've also purposely not shaved for a week then went to George's to get a hot towel shave! Now that was an experience!! I have brought my sons to George's and they have enjoyed the cuts as well........ the lollipop at the end helps of course!!!

Hubby and our son's usual barber is no longer at their usual spot, which was sold to his brother, who was on vacation for the whole Summer. We needed to find a new place eight away for Summer cuts/fades. We have passed Inspire Barbershop so many time on our way to Main Street, Unionville, so on a whim, I booked an appointment for my hubby. He had a such great experience on his first visit, that this is now his go to spot for a cut & fade. It didn't take much convincing for my son to go after seeing his dad's cuts, and this is now his go to spot as well. The owner Sako is great at what he does, very precise, nice clean cuts and fades and is great with kids! If you are looking a barbershop, then I highly recommend this spot! The owners Sako & Eddie and the rest of the team are great! It's not often where you can find a barbershop that is skilled at fades and cuts. They are open Monday - Saturday 10AM to 8PM, Saturday's 10AM to 6PM - closed on Sunday's. Very professional team and the shop is spacious, clean and well taken care of.
