Finally trekked through the cold weather over to fishtown to stop at bottle bar east and it was…read morewell worth the visit. Sat at the bar downstairs and the vibe is very relaxed. Very fair prices and they have a great happy hour posted - half off drafts is awesome! Didn't stop in during the happy hour, though prices are still good for food and drink. There is also an upstairs area with more tables good for a hangout with friends. The selection they have is not just sizable, but also some fairly unique / rarer cans and bottles you don't see commonly offered at other spots around the city. Bartender was great with commentary about beers and choosing new ones to try. Good draft list too. I saw on the Untappd app they had a few cans I was interested in so would suggest checking that out too. For food I tried their chipotle Mexican burger. Very large and they also melt mozzarella on the bun itself. Generous with the toppings too. It was messy but also tasty! The fries were on the greasier side though, not as crisp as I would've liked. It also came with a nice lil cup of soup which is nice in the cold weather. Overall a great chill spot, thanks.

Service was all about dealing with me and being done. They were not rude, but they were not interested in any pleasantries, all business. I'd go back often if I lived in the area.

The store is well maintained and the employees are very helpful. There are tasting stations around with a schedule posted . Great experience and highly recommended this store in the Cherry Hill area. PSA's - opens at 9:00 , bathroom inside and plenty of parking.

My love and I had a fun time celebrating Valentine's Day early at a Chocolate and Wine Tasting…read moreclass at Total Wine and More! This is the second class we've attended at the Cherry Hill location. They always have a robust calendar of monthly events, many of which are only $20 per person. So reasonable! You must purchase your tickets in advance (online). Seating is open (classroom style) and they provide light refreshments at the start of the event (meats, cheeses, fruit, and crackers). I am a big proponent of hydration and they have tons of water on hand. The classes are led by Total Wine and More employees and each person has their own unique style. They normally start with a PowerPoint presentation about the featured wines, and then wine sipping begins shortly thereafter. Our only "gripe" is the time it takes for the wine glasses to be filled. They have one person filling the glasses, and when the class is packed, it takes them a while to get to everyone. This disrupts the flow of the session. It may be beneficial to begin filling the glasses at the start of the class, rather than just as we are about to begin tasting. That aside, we always walk away feeling like we learned something valuable and fun. They offer nice discounts if you decide to purchase the wines you sampled. They in no way pressure you to purchase anything you tasted. We look forward to attending additional events!
