It is part of the Parliament Drive Professional Building. My visit here was on July 13, 2023. It was time for my quarterly lab draw, which I have been doing at the Quest Diagnostics location at Walmart. However, after waiting there for about 45 minutes, no staff ever showed up. Later that day, a message would come out that they would be closed and to reschedule the appointment (this was about 4 hours later). Since I was already fasting and looking to get it done, I started looking at other places that take Quest Diagnostics as the lab order is covered 100%. In the end, I made my way here to have the blood draw taken care of. I almost missed where the building was. It looks like it was converted to businesses, as it looks like an old motel was here before. They are located on the second floor, so you can only access it via stairs from what I was able to see, so you probably won't be able to get up there if you can't use the stairs. Once I came inside, there was a nice associate at the counter. She asked what brought me here and I told her it was for fasting labs and that I had the lab order available on my phone. After getting that squared away, there was a cost to have this done. Mind you, this was not expected as it was supposed to be covered 100%. Essentially there is a $30 convenience fee (at least that is what it seemed like to me). It's a fee for all out there, as it ended up costing $31.19 because they charge a credit/debit card fee too. After that was done, I was taken back to a room with the chair for the blood draw to take place. After everything was verified, the blood draw took place and then had me verify the info on the test tubes. After that, the process was complete. The blood draw portion took less than five minutes. Overall, everything went well with the process. This is actually well outside the area that I would normally go to have the blood draw taken care of. The associate was caring and understanding, so there was nothing wrong with that at all. There wasn't an overall wow factor and the convenience fee was a bit of a turn off for me. However, if you are looking to have labs drawn through insurance and close by, this is a viable location to have it done.

Located on the second floor, just off the elevators is the business. Signage is small, but posted. I found the lobby to their office to be of adequate space and clean. I caught them around 8:50 AM which proved to be excellent because they were not busy. To the left is check-in. A woman named Tiffany was present to help me. She was wearing a white lab coat. Another woman also white lab coat and young male in in street clothes at desk. Tiffany God Bless her had no personality at all. No greeting, no smile just all business. I signed in which is standard and provided my necessary info to proceed. A form was signed confirming they had all correct info for me. Immediately after paperwork was signed I was called back. Guess what, Tiffany was my tech drawing blood. I tried to make light conversation and that failed. Again all business, roll up your sleeve and make a fist. I usually make a practice of hydrating to help with getting a great vein, but I forgot. Tiffany with lightening speed had a vein and needle in lickity split with zero pain. They are in a customer service business and should be, or try to be at least a little friendly. However, the skill of the tech to get the job done supersedes being nice I guess, LOL! If you enter the store on the right side, that will get you in at the closest entrance to the Quest Diagnostics location inside. My visit here was on April 6, 2023. This is the first time I have been to a Quest Diagnostics location for lab testing. I had an appointment scheduled by one of the benefits of my health plan. Under normal circumstances, I just get a blood draw at my doctor's office otherwise. When you come inside, there is some seating on the left side, and to the right, you will see the check in kiosk. You'll want to make sure you have your valid identification and health insurance card as that was asked at the time of checking in there. I think they do need to update the Clinic Laboratory License from CMS on the wall, since that one expired in October 2020. I did make it here a little early, so I did have a little wait. They did run just a little behind as I think they only had one worker there at the time. While waiting, I saw some other workers use the keypad to get into the clinic area of the place. A few minutes after the scheduled time, I got called back. One thing I noticed right away is that the place was exceptionally clean. After going back to the room, I was seated and the phlebotomist verified who I was. She also had me verify the vials that are being used had my name on them, which they were. The blood draw process was very quick and smooth. The phlebotomist had a really good bedside manner too, and had a little small talk too while getting it ready and administered. After the draw was done, she had me look at the vials again and verify it had my name on it, which it did. That completed the process for me on this visit. Overall, this was an excellent experience. The service and timing of it was on point. Having an impeccably clean room is even better. The results would come back about three business days later, which is the timing she told me. If you need to have some blood draws or other things to be done like that, this place is definitely worth coming to. Plus, since it's inside Walmart, you can do some shopping before or after your appointment too.

The staff is very nice and the facility has a spa vibe. It's very private, quiet, and relaxing with massage chairs that inclines taking the pressure off the back and providing a really relaxing experience during the IV. Before getting the IV, I did a test to make sure that I am healthy and the manager talked to me about the services that I'm interested in to make sure that I chose the right package and to ensure that I get what I need. She changed up what I ordered because I ordered too much magnesium and suggested some other things that are a better combination for what I'm needing, including that she did research while I was filling out the paperwork, to provide information for my specific needs, which is amazing. Along the lines of the spa vibe, they offered water and flavored vitamin water and the music is extremely relaxing. It's instrumental and feels light. Going to an IV place seems a little weird, but coming into a spa atmosphere made it so much better and the IV process is seamless and gentle. It doesn't feel clinical. To me, it's important that it is clean and safe without worrying, but at the same time not to feel like I'm in a hospital to get vitamins or an IV. Instead it felt like going to a day spa. I will definitely go back, likely often. Thank you very much ladies! I will indeed let you know how it works for altitude sickness.
