My windows haven't looked this good since I moved into this house 5 years ago. They did the tracks, they did everything. I met them through my interior designer who has worked with him for over 10 years, so I knew this was a company I can trust and count on. The company is very responsive and I truly enjoyed working with Mario. This will be the only remodeling company I work with in the future.

DO NOT HIRE THEM I…read morehad an insurance claim on my home and hired them to do the work. It included drywall work, paining, installing tile floor, and also finishing my basement. I can tell you that Their painting job is not professional. There's multiple areas where they missed painting or didn't paint at all. The drywall work needed additional sanding and refinishing. The tile floor had to be torn out and redone due to tiles popping out. The drop ceiling in the basement needed redone because it wasn't level and had no supports in it. The work was beyond terrible. Now onto the employees. Mike and Laura are the "owners" who I dealt with. Mike and his guys never showed up when they said they would and left whenever they wanted because they said Mike didn't pay them enough. The employees stole my alcohol, all of it. They stole food and last but not least they stole my tools. I would also catch the workers using my tools to do the job and ask why and they would tell me because they didn't have it. I had to help finish jobs for these guys because they couldn't "get it." They agreed to paint my banister and then tried to get another $500 out of me but I refused and they agreed to paint it for the original amount. They continued to try and change prices on scope of work mid job. I finally had the last of it and fired them when I found an employee had been urinating in a one gallon jug in my basement instead of using the restroom that was up the stairs. Mike made excuses that one of his guys had a drinking problem and he did pay me back for the stolen alcohol but not my tools. Some times no one would even show up to work on a certain day and I would call and mike nor Laura would know what's going on. Don't make the same mistake I did.

We have worked on two projects with Rustico to date and both turned out fabulous (see photos). They are kind people, detailed, and always willing to go the extra mile. On both properties we asked them to provide samples of several wood floor stain colors ahead of time. We decided on a blended color for the second property--Jose was glad to mix various colors up to find our perfect fit. He wanted to be sure we were going to be happy with the results. Originally, the floors at one of our properties were very dark (like, dark chocolate brown). We really wanted to go lighter to help the rooms feel even bigger, and Rustico was able sand out the original color back to a blank slate. *Since our floors were older oak floors that had various existing shades in them already this meant the stain color wouldn't be perfectly uniform. Jose & Maria made sure to tell us ahead of time what to expect. I can't tell you how nice it was to know this ahead of time, to manage expectations. We really appreciate the transparency and honesty! (And it didn't matter anyway, because the color of the floor came out AH-MAZING!) As real estate investors, it's vitally important that we find businesses whom we can depend on to do the job right and who also operate from a place of high standards and integrity. Look no further than Rustico for all your hardwood flooring needs. Can't wait to work with Maria & Jose and the whole family on future projects!
