    Do NOT hire Not Today Martha!!!…read more On Aug. 12, a house cleaner cracked the porcelain in the basin of my husband's sink by dropping our heavy-duty glass cup. My husband heard her drop the glass twice. With his foot still healing from surgery, he didn't get up to check for any damage because he assumed she would have mentioned it if anything was broken. We didn't notice the crack until she left. Right away, we attempted to contact the owner of the company. She called us back and promised the cleaning service would be refunded and said she would turn this into her insurance. She assured it would be handled. Her insurance contacted us the following week and asked us to find a contractor. We assumed everything was moving forward in the right direction. We found a contractor this weekend, and he began writing the estimate. Today, her insurance calls us to say they will not cover the damage because the house cleaner stated the sound my husband heard was her moving our metal trash can and not due to dropping our glass. The insurance rep went on to say that since our glass cup wasn't cracked it couldn't have been the cup that caused it. Mind you, the cup is made out of thick heavy duty glass. My husband had brushed his teeth that morning and went to work. I left the house and took the kids shopping at the outlet mall that day. There was no crack in the sink until the cleaner came and left. The company owner calls us this afternoon from an unidentified number. She accuses us of lying and said she believes her cleaner. I go round and round with her cutting me off when I was speaking. She continued to talk over me. She didn't try to reason and listen to me. She said her cleaner has no reason to lie, and that I'm the only one who benefits. Then she tells me she's no longer going to provide service to me (as if I wanted her to anyways). I asked why she never refunded me for the service like she said she would, and she said because we can't prove the damage was due to her cleaner. I told her I will see her in small claims court and spread the word about her lack of concern for her customer's property. She responded with "Go right ahead, hunny." I am FURIOUS!!! Wish I could give ZERO stars! Update: I was a client from April-August 2022 even though the owner wrote that I'm not a client in her response to my review. See the photos I posted as proof. Very unprofessional!!
