There is currently no one hot cookie, Hermitage page. But considering I had one hot cookie at a vendor event at the Hermitage night market I thought it would be OK to put my review here. My husband and I have been wanting to try one hot cookie for quite a while now. I'm a big Crumbl fan , my husband not so much. We were meandering around the Hermitage night market and looking for some dessert. Decided to give one hot cookie, a try. My husband had the pb cup cookie and I had the peanut butter cup cookie with ice cream. The cookie was warm and fresh and the topping was so creamy and decadent. The ice cream really pulled the flavors all together. Needless to say, my husband says one hot cookie blows Crumbl out of the water. This is on my list for my birthday dessert next month! Okay so I really was curious what the hype was about this place. Surprise Surprise....These cookies are the the Platinum of Cookies. We tried the Double Chocolate Chip. Okay I lost it....My tastebuds we're not ready for such a fabulous taste. By far the Best sweet treat to have when a sweet treat is what your craving. Two years later and One Hot Cookie is still rocking in downtown Youngstown! Stopped in tonight and grabbed a treat after a gig at Covelli. Things have changed a bit. They do more goodies now - ice cream, pop corn even dog cookies!!!! But the cookies are still great and I enjoyed my monster cookie! I do not get these treats as often since they closed the Niles store but I'll pop in down here when I can! Great cookies! read more

We were walking downtown & came upon this place. It looked cool so we wondered inside to check it out. My daughter ordered ice cream which she loved. I ordered a maple bacon cookie for us to try. I never met a cookie I didn't like. At the same time, I could take them or leave them. One hot cookie is a game changer. These cookies are amazing. My husband will pick them up on his way home from occasionally and I ration them like a fool, because I don't want them to be gone. I loved their cookies!! They even warm them up so you get that out-of-the-oven freshness. It was really enjoyable and the service was extremely friendly. The bakery itself was so cute! First a disclaimer - I know the owner of OHC. That said, I would still give 4.5 stars regardless. What is great about OHC is that it's a place people of all ages - college kids post bender, families after a hockey game, or a work break snack. The cookies are big and phenomenal. They are served warm and gooey. I'm bummed white chocolate chip isn't on the menu anymore, but the Oreo gooey one makes up for it. Worth going to for sure! read more

WOW! I walked in and bought an assortment of the basic cookies on the menu and passed them around the office. One colleague said she had an experience. This is the best way to end a meal when you are in Downtown. As a big fan of desserts, It takes a lot for me to say no at the end of my meal. Usually, I'm saving room or skipping an appetizer to make sure I can grab a brownie or apple pie (alamode). That is not the case when I'm grabbing a bite to eat in Youngstown. I will gladly turn down the dessert tray, and head over to One Hot Cookie to finish off my meal. Here you can find a whole menu to choose from, with amazing toppings. They prepare it, and bake the cookie while you wait. The best part of the whole process is the sheer size of these things. I leave with a "to go" bag from lunch, and dessert as well. The girls working their are always so friendly and can always fill you in with what else is going on in Y-town. I visited One Hot Cookie's Niles Location for the first time last night. It's a cute little cafe decked out in hot pink. Fredo, the store's mascot who's an adorable pug, occasionally pops out to greet guests in line, so it's not too bad a wait unless you may have screaming children or impatient friends. I ordered three traditional cookies, and one specialty cookie (a cookie dressed up in toppings). On their own, the cookies are amazing, and much better than the kind you can get in the mall shops...maybe even some bakeries. They really are hot; your order is piping warm and kept inside a cardboard box to help you get it home...if you can manage that. I kept a few for the next day, and they're still soft and chewy after time, so not to worry if you can't ever finish it. Which might be your case with the specialty cookies. I ordered a Death by Chocolate (which I'm convinced could kill someone with pure sugary bliss). I wasn't a fan of the ratios of frosting to the cookie, but after removing a bit of the excess, enjoyed it a lot. The frosting looked as though it could be better mixed, but that's the only area it needed help with. You can customize your own specialty cookie as well if the selections displayed don't appeal to you. If you like cookies with ice cream, they serve Katie's Korner ice cream (locally made ice cream) for an additional charge, and will even make cookies into ice cream sandwiches with it. Cookie cakes are also available. The staff are troopers, still maintaining friendliness well into the evening hours. Overall, worth the wait. read more

This one is lacking. I love the Boardman location but I am constantly disappointed at this one. Last time I went here, I got cookies to go. I live less than 5 minutes away, when I got home they were rock hard. We tried to break it on the table and it wouldn't. We called back and they gave us a free cookie on our next visit. The cookie still was kinda hard when we got it. So we didn't go for a month, when I returned I got a smashcup (their version of a blizzard). The cookie was rock hard again. We went here a few months back but just have to say, this little :sweet : shop is so cute !!! Was downtown w/grandkids at OH WOW ...and for a snack, walked over to One Hot Cookie and ordered some cookies( ice cream in middle ) for them . before going back to the center . Of course I tasted each cookie. HA .. Very large and oh so good !! The staff was very nice and patient as kids kept hemming and hawwing cause they cldn't make up their minds , as kids do...but they were so sweet to them, and we were impressed with how kind they were . At first we were the only ones in the place around 2:30 in afternoon but then lots of ppl started coming in , so figure they've heard about the ice cream treats and had to have some .
