The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms, and the food was delicious. Our meals came out in a timely manner, which made the whole experience even better. We were a party a 5, and were sat immediately, which was great because our kids were hungry. Our server was friendly and helpful, and the food didn't take long to come out. My husband ordered the lasagna, and said it was great. I ordered the Cobb salad, which was very fresh and a good sized portion. Our son ordered the Margherita pizza, which was absolutely delicious! Our daughters split the cheeseburger and enjoyed it. Devour had the perfect variety of choices so that everyone in our family found something they really liked (not always easy with kids). This was a great ending to our day full of driving!

Let me start with the positives. The food was very good, and the service was friendly and…read moreattentive. I ordered the shrimp and chicken Alfredo, and honestly, I enjoyed it more than the version served at some of the larger Italian restaurant chains. We also ordered a 16-inch pizza with two toppings, and the slices were huge. I was happy to see my kids get full after just two slices each. The only food item I didn't enjoy was the salad with the tomato vinaigrette. To me, it tasted like lettuce with ketchup, which wasn't what I was expecting. My biggest complaint was the temperature inside the restaurant. I'm usually the person who's cold everywhere, but I was uncomfortably warm during our visit. Everyone at our table looked like they were about to start sweating, and even some of the employees appeared uncomfortable from the heat. I would happily order the Alfredo and pizza again. If they can get the temperature inside the restaurant under control, the experience would be much more enjoyable.

**Note: this is now called Amore not Joe's**…read more I'll start by saying I get it. Small town in West Texas, but I'm also from these parts. So I'll cut you a little slack. Nice large dining room and bar. It was much bigger inside than I thought it would be. The wine menu was about what I expected it to be. I saw some people dressed up & some in shorts & hoodies. The service was good for the most part. We weren't offered refills and I was a little upset that we were offered oil to dip the bread in but were not told it was an up-charge. I knew as soon as I saw it but I was expecting the little plate with a drizzle in it that most Italian places offer. She called it hot oil, and it was spicy. I just think they need to specify that it's an add on. The portions were a good size. The tomato basil soup had cream in it which I wasn't expecting. Again, something small but could be better. The Italian wedding soup was oily and didn't have any meatballs. My main issue is that most of the food only tasted like salt. The pasta was over cooked and soggy. I got chicken piccata and I drizzled some of that hot oil on it and squeezed on the lemon from my tea to give it some flavor. My husband had a lasagna. He said it was "basic".

It was cold, excessively greasy, and tasted like it had been sitting around forever. The crust was tough and chewy, the toppings were barely there, and the sauce had absolutely no flavor. This was not cheap pizza, yet it tasted like the lowest effort possible. The service was terrible, which honestly made everything worse. The wait was ridiculously long, employees seemed confused and uninterested, and no one took responsibility for anything. When issues were brought up, there was no apology, no urgency, and zero attempt to fix the problem. It felt like they genuinely didn't care whether customers were happy or not. For the prices they charge, this level of food and service is completely unacceptable. Pizza Hut used to be reliable, but this location clearly doesn't care about quality or customer experience anymore. Save your money and your time--there are way better options out there.

We go to restaurants all over town, eat out 2-3 times a week but this is the only place where the other diners feel... hostile. I know that sounds strange, or like there must be something wrong with us- but nowhere else do people act like that. We really do eat all over town. From hole-in-the-wall places, to trendy international restaurants, to the more upscale chef-run places... this weirdly hostile angry vibe from patrons ONLY happens at Ray's. Maybe it's because the tables are close together and people feel territorial? Maybe it's the cold, slightly tense staff who are not always friendly? We basically stopped going to Ray's because of the hostility, even though the food is pretty good.

Second time I've been here in the last 12 months. This time was actually better than the first where the waiter dumped steak grease down my back and then dropped a pile of mashed potatoes on my keys.
