I found Royal Dental online and made an appointment for her there because most of the staff is bilingual and Polish speaking - my Mom's first language. From the moment I called to make the appointment for our first visit to their beautifully decorated waiting room and offices it was a 5 star experience. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist Agnes. She set the tone for Mom's entire experience. Next Mom had X-rays taken by Julie who was so warm and friendly and professional- she made my Mom very comfortable. Her dentist Dr. Sung is pure magic! She went on and on about how careful he was with her during her extractions and aftercare. She is very pleased with her results. She can't wait to go back for her follow ups! I went in for a consultation at Aspen Dental (4450 N Harlem Ave, Norridge) and was rushed through a…read moretreatment plan despite telling the billing staff I had limited time. I was encouraged to sign what I thought was a simple payment‑plan application, only to later discover it was a credit card application that hit my credit report. I was also charged $1,000 on my HSA card even though no services were performed that day. My treatment plan included 18 individual Arestin charges of $160 each. When I requested that all Arestin charges be removed, only 17 were deleted, and one charge was missed. Because of that oversight, I was still billed $160 for a service I had clearly declined. My bill dropped from $2,100 to $460. When I asked for a refund, I was told it couldn't be released because I had a future appointment, but that someone would call me back. No one called me back. My HSA card was later suspended, three different medical providers could not get paid, and I was told I had 10 days to repay the $1,000 or my paycheck would be docked. Yes, I have some faults and lessons were learned from this experience. Proceed with caution.

If work needs to be done, he explains it and will contact your insurance so that you know what you will have to pay out of pocket before the work is started. He is also very quick and effective when completing work. His staff is very friendly and make you feel like an old friend every time you walk in. My most recent appointment was during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their efforts to ensure a safe and healthy environment did not go unnoticed. I have no doubt that they are going above and beyond any sanitation and safety requirements.

Dentist makes not one but two blatantly sexist remarks about female dentists, claiming "I can say that because my wife is a dentist." The entire front desk staff are engaging in a conversation with a man at the front about how masks don't work(despite the staff wearing them while they work on you), how Covid is a hoax, calling Dr. Fauchi all these derogatory names, and engaging in a political conversation over divisive topics boldly infront of paying customers.
