I had two separate orders (online). One was for double pane window glass. A second order was for single pane tempered glass pieces to be installed in two of my single pane windows. After ordering I read some of the more critical reviews here on yelp. I would say that like most people here, I was highly satisfied! 1) The packaging was FANTASTIC! Both packages were packed securely in 1"+ honeycomb cardboard material. All empty spaces were filled with foam rubber, Styrofoam, and cardboard sheets. The each assembly was then shrink-wrapped securely. All that was then boxed in honeycomb and all corners lapped with a heavy duty paperboard corner material. The entire package, in turn, was secured with heavy duty plastic band-it straps. One package had some impact damage from the carrier, yet the contents were undisturbed. I think you could actually drop these packages and not sustain damage. Of course, the packages are labeled prominently as containing glass. Despite one reviewer saying he thought they intentionally packaged insecurely to gain a second (shipping warranty) job, I found quite the opposite. The only way it could be shipped better would be putting them in a pelican case! 2) Price of course, was very good, even after the shipping. I don't think anyone would disagree if they shopped around. 3) All measurements were spot on for my single pane pieces. My double pane piece was off by 1/16"; within the advertised tolerances. 4) As this was an entirely on-line experience, I cannot comment on the customer service from a "human" standpoint. The website ordering process is fully-tutorial and any allows anyone to order glass, even with no experience. The website was much easier to use than other online competitors. 5) The website prominently disclaims that they fulfill orders in one day. I ordered mine around Labor day, and the website did state that orders could be delayed. They did ship a couple days late due to this, but my overall wait (manufacturing plus shipping) was still 2 weeks for the double pane and 10 days for the single panes. I have a neighbor who uses a local glass shop for his double pane windows and it still takes two weeks, so even with shipping, this is quite good. My only gripe would be that double pane thicknesses are only offered in 1/8" thicknesses and most of my double-pane windows are odd to 1/16th inch thicknesses (13/16 and 7/16), so I really had to guess whether to go under or over the original size to still get a proper fit to the original frames. After I read some of the negative reviews, I had decided to wait on ordering another double-pane window until I saw their work. Bottom line: I will be ordering from them regularly. They will definitely be my go-to company for all my glass! read more

I really have no complaints. I'm not big on writing reviews but I feel like it's deserved here simply because I am just that pleased with my experience with them. I needed a glass shelf for my shower niche and it needed to be tempered glass. I went to my local place that has made shelves for my other bathroom and they told me it was too small to go through the machine. I started searching places online and a couple places wouldn't go that small with tempered glass. I had one website that did but I couldn't stop there because I needed to then compare pricing. I came to this website and it was super easy to use there was nothing left open to question and I submitted my order at half the price from other places. I received my order in decent timing less than a week and with shipping the way it is currently that's something to appreciate. It was packaged well and delivered to me in perfect condition. The first thing I did after making sure it wasn't damaged in any way was put a tape measure to it and it is exactly what I asked for not even a hair off and when I say hair I mean hair. I asked for 12 3/16" x 3 9/16" and that is exactly what I got. I know this is just my first time buying from here but with an experience like this I'll always shop here first. Great job. read more

I had a broken pane on a dual-pane window. I searched around for a local company to repair it, but the glass places nearby either charged more than I wanted to spend (even with me bringing the sash to them) or when I asked about an IGU they frankly told me they would be ordering one and reselling it to me. I did get a recommendation for one place that was about 30 minutes away that I was told could manufacture me an IGU at their location, but they didn't respond to my inquiry promptly. So I ordered from onedayglass.com after disassembling my sash to get an accurate measurement of the IGU. Although my IGU took a bit longer to ship than expected, I did opt for the free shipping so I don't have much room to complain about that. The product I received is excellent. The glass is noticeably thicker than the original glass. The size was spot on, and fit perfectly in the sash. Although my sash was a challenge to disassemble and reassemble, the IGU itself is definitely a step up from my old one. A small tap on the glass of this IGU vs. another pane with the original glass is night and day difference. If I have another IGU to repair I'll be back. read more

Great customer service, and GREAT prices. I had a glass table top break during a move in the DC area. Since it was a pretty large table top with expensive radius edges, I instead decided to buy two pieces of square glass for the decorative table inset. They had the best prices BY FAR than anyone I called in the DC area (including Loews, several glass shops, etc). I was getting quotes for $60+ for EACH 26 x 26.5" tempered glass square, whereas One Day Glass was a very reasonable $20-some. With shipping, it was still cheaper than the local spots. Easy decision. It gets better. Fast and quick shipping, I get the glass. Guess whose measurements were off by 1/4" (or less)? Yup, that's right. So I call them up and plead my case, acknowledging that they measured correctly but asking if there was any wiggle room for the pricing of my second order. They knocked off $25 right then and there, and processed my order on the phone. I'll be a return customer! read more

I have never ordered glass online before, but when I decided I really needed to fix the piece cracking in my china cabinet, I did a lot of research on pricing, length of time for processing and shipping, as well as ratings. Peninsula Glass was by the far best in each of these categories, so I gave it a shot. I measured my piece probably 20 times to ensure I was giving them the best information possible and get the right size. I can't even explain how happy I was that I measured perfectly and the glass is perfect! I mean, PERFECT. I couldn't even believe the price I got it for compared to other companies and I got it here in the boonies of Texas within a week! Amazing! On top of this, the packaging was extremely well protected and I loved how they made sure the edges of the glass were sanded down for no extra fee. Kids broke the inner pane of a Low-e sealed unit in an Andersen Window. A quick Google search led me to One Day Glass, and an easy way to order a replacement online. Even though I duffed the order size (thanks iPhone), a quick call and follow-up email was all I needed to do to make the change. Bonus points: You get to talk to a REAL person when you call, and they're friendly!!! Quick response, simple email updates, I'm very happy. The glass arrived in excellent packaging, with installation instructions, and after some wrestling to remove the broken unit, is installed and looking good. Andersen wanted over $300 for a complete replacement sash, One Day Glass..... $93 for the sealed glass only. Rather a no-brainer, really since my sash was still perfectly ok. Glass was cut perfectly and we received ahead of schedule! We purchased a new, wood topped kitchen table. My wife loved it ... and then we got the first scratch! We quickly transitioned to using a tablecloth, but that really hid the table ... which is not what we were looking to do. My wife suggested a glass topper and I found One Day Glass online. I enjoy working on my my home. I installed a small casement window on the outside wall of a homemade stand-up shower I made. The window came from a big box store 10 years ago. One pane of glass recently exploded on it's own. I tried to get a replacement of the same size, but things and dimensions change over the years. A second option would be to replace the window, but that included re-shingle outside and re-tile and grout inside. A big job I didn't plan for. I got drunk one night and my ole lady pissed me off. She accused me of being on a dating app, and then she demanded to see my phone. If you need glass work done, this is the place to go!! I talked with Marcus about ordering a replacement "lid" for my cooler. I needed a 15 1/8" round piece of tempered glass with two holes in center for handle. Marcus even took the time to call me directly when I had another concern about my order ( instead if just emailing back and forth). When I received my glass (and received it exactly as told), it was PERFECT! The holes that were drilled needed to be pretty much "on the money"... As I've said, EVERYTHING was exactly as needed ! I purchased one of those modern glossy white desks a while back, and the top started getting super scratched up. I wanted to protect it and knew a custom cut piece of glass (27.5"Wx63"L) would work the best, so I Googled companies with the best reviews, and I'm so glad One Day Glass/Peninsula Glass popped up. We bought a piece of furniture for my wife's hair salon and thought it would be a good idea to have a glass top added to a dresser height cabinet. After searching online One Day was by far the least expensive. Many glass providers don't do custom sizes and give you no idea of how long the production time may be. I try to shop locally whenever possible, but when my local glass & mirror company wasn't able to offer an exact replacement product for my needs, nor at a decent price, I started my search online, and ended with One Day Glass. Save money and aggravation- don't buy from them as it will end up costing you a lot more! 1) Terrible / non-existent Customer Service. 2) Shipping with FedEx was horrible, smashed up box, late, expensive. Poorly packed and resulted in some tiny scratches that were not noticeable until the glass was installed and cleaned. It is even possible the scratches were from the factory- will never know and they won't stand behind their work and said the glass would need to be shipped back to fix it on my own cost both ways! Sure, uninstall a giant piece of glass, pack it, ship it, ha!!! Costs more than the original glass. If I bought the glass locally it would have cost less and no aggravation. read more
