Element Nashville Airport - Stylish and comfortable

Element Nashville Airport

You will want to either rent a car in Nashville or do Uber/Lyft as public transit isn't a thing here. In addition, not much is walkable from the hotel except for a pizza place, fast food, and a local Mexican spot. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the pull shades on the window, which kept the light from outdoors completely out of the room so I got a good night's sleep. The queen sized bed had four LARGE pillows- usually, I have to ask for more pillows, but not here. The shower had quality toiletries and fair water pressure. Everything was VERY CLEAN. The breakfast at this hotel sets it apart. You can get made-to-order omelets as well as breakfast potatoes and French toast. Plus, there's a yogurt bar with Chobani and the usual bagels/croissants/cereal/fruit that all hotels offer. I appreciated that it was included in the price and not an extra cost. Since I only stayed here for one night, I did not take advantage of the outdoor pool, exercise room, or bar, but they all looked inviting, clean, and nice. This was my first experience with an Element hotel, and it is a part of the Westin and Marriott brand. I will definitely be on the lookout for this chain in my travels and highly recommend this location.

Stay was fine but the parking is a little sketchy. Very close to everything in Nashville.read more

My husband and I had our wedding at Houston Station on November 25th. We cannot say enough about…read morethe beauty of the venue and the dedication of the staff! We decided to not use a wedding planner, and Elizabeth and Samantha were top notch helping us plan such a large undertaking. At our first meeting with Elizabeth she had a folder with recommended vendors. We felt the best part about Houston Station is that ALL of the vendors are in the building, they are used to working seamlessly together, and Elizabeth has long standing relationships with them. At our planning meetings, Elizabeth and the vendors were finishing our sentences! That is how much they anticipated our needs. By the end of the wedding, we felt like Elizabeth and the staff were family. Elizabeth is no nonsense, runs a tight ship, and has the biggest heart of gold. She is a HUGE Alabama fan, and my husband is a HUGE Auburn fan. Of course we were married on the Iron Bowl. Elizabeth set up the grooms room with a TV for the game so my husband could watch it until the last minute. Even in the face of Alabama's loss to Auburn, she knew how special it was for my husband, and she graciously played along. Clearly, I can't say enough about the venue and the people. If you're looking for an upscale way to do it yourself, go to Houston Station. It is worth every cent.

Located in a converted warehouse Jeff and his business partners have created the ideal location that is tucked away south of downtown. From the outside, Houston Station doesn't appear to be anything at all. Was I surprised when I walked up the stairs! A mix of exposed wood and brick generates a very comfortable feel for this space which accommodates about 250 to 300 people. Forget all of the fussy rules, Jeff who is the facility manager emphasizes the flexibility and versatility of the event space. The space is handicap accessible and when you rent, you get the building for the entire day. A great kitchen and private rooms for preparation enhance the characteristics of the station to make other vendors happy. Also, a fantastic little outdoor terrace would be a fabulous place to chill in warmer weather. The possibilities are seriously endless!

To the untrained eye, WELD may seem like a WeWork, but it's so much more. It is slightly more expensive than WeWork for a space, but here are the benefits: 1) A creative community- The people who make up WELD are some of the most creative people in Nashville. You have a famous podcaster, a personality test tech company, a photographer, and so many more people creating beauty out of ashes. It's an inspiring place to be and you can bounce ideas off of these smart minds. 2) Free studio- There's a giant white room that you can use for free if you're a member for photo shoots and/or video shoots. WeWork doesn't offer that! 3) The space- It's beautiful and in an up and coming part of town. They converted shipping containers into office space. 4) Free coffee- It's from CREMA and it's good. Even as WeWork moves into Nashville, WELD is the place to be if you're a creative and need a space to work.

There's a community "kitchen" complete with fridge, microwave, sink, etc. Weld offers an open environment for group work as well as individual spaces. My office used the meeting room for the day to brainstorm and develop a new software plan. Weld was a perfect spot to escape the cubicle and truly inspired us to think outside the box. The energy at Weld promotes creative thinking and helped our team accomplish our goal. Highly recommend this space for any work group! **Warning you must be a member!

The shower pressure is ok, the bed is comfortable and during two different stays here, the noise level was quiet. They offer a hot breakfast with those push-button-pancakes. There were a lot of customers during both of my stays, and items can go quickly and take a while to be replenished. The front desk people I interacted with were more than just professional, with one going the extra mile. The shuttle was perfection, whisking us to the departure area in about 10 minutes (door to door). Just call for a pickup. I dont see going with any other option when flying BNA.
