Solicited my mom's neighborhood. Gives great low quotes, but that is because he does the contract on his cell phone and has you pay half upfront. You can't actually see all of the things he wrote on the contract but that is on purpose because anything you ask for he will yes you on, and then when he is there doing the work and you ask about those same things he turns around and tells you, "its not in the contract". This is on top of the fact that when my mom got her original quote she was told they would be there and do the job in two days. Then they either don't show up, or show up late in the day and do a few hours of work. He tells you sorry it will be done tomorrow. He has more excuses than anyone I have ever met as to why he or his helper don't show up. While he was doing her work I had him come to my house for a quote, and of course it was low. Fortunately for me I texted him with a few of the items to be sure they were included. In one conversation I had texted him THREE TIMES about getting a doggy door in like it was and finally he answered. Then when he came to my house and he didn't put it in he tried telling me it wasn't in the contract after also verbally telling me he would get it done. i found it on my cell phone so he put one in, only because I wasn't paying anything more and that was the only thing left. He put a metal piece where the wood was broken and told me he doesnt do the wood?? That is part of the repair. The icing on the cake though was first he said he ordered a new front screen door for my mother, two months after the fact he said he could use the flamingo metal piece from her old door to put on a new door, and then proceeding to jerk her around for another week to when I got involved. He said he was coming on Tuesday or Wednesday then called and said Friday, never showed up Friday and came Saturday. Was there a few hours and couldn't get the door in so he told her that its the wrong size and SHE would have to give him another $350 to get one or he wasn't coming back. This came after she gave him a $300 tip before the job was done because she lost my father in February and wasn't used to doing andyhting with contracting. What a POS!! Then instead of coming and finishing the job he is out canvassing the neighborhood for more jobs. He also has a company called Reyes Construction Pros that he opened out of Tampa to try and get bigger jobs. I feel bad for anyone who gets stuck waiting for him the screw them around on a house. It was only an outside screen for us. read more
