Went to my nephew bday party here, what a super cute place. Looked clean enough. The fire alarms went off and no one knew how to turn them off so that was a bit of an inconvenience. The bathrooms can use a cleaning and a renovation. Ample parking which is a plus.

3 year old loves Once Upon a Treetop. This was a recommendation for social interaction with other kids..we did book an open play session for 3-5 pm and we were literally the only people there other than staff so that was disappointing but the staff was super friendly and my son loved it! Front desk lady was really great and recommended calling before we came or coming to the 10 am open play as that was the more popular time. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful place! SAFE, FUN and CLEAN place for little ones to have fun! Not only the place was clean and organized and KEEP it that way. Multiple times you can see staff walking around putting way and keeping things organized WITHOUT interrupting kids from playing! So much to see, so much to do! We had a blast!

My 2 year old lived this place. Some of the kids there oughta be better supervised by their parents no class

This is such a great place to bring little ones. Very creative toys and environment and the little climbing thing they have is perfect for my four and two year old. We decided to do a "private party" for just us since we still can't get our two year old to wear a mask more then just a few minutes. So worth and we will be back!!

Another angle of the little city kids can play in. Super clean and safe!

A great, clean, fun place to bring my nephew. I booked a private play session for my nephew and family and it was honestly so much fun for everyone. The environment for my 1 year old nephew was interactive, safe and he had a blast. This was a really special day for my nephew because he was able to play with all sorts of toys and interactive experiences with his aunts, grandparents and great grandparents. How fun! Thank you for such a great time, we will be back for sure.

I was here recently again in this age of Covid and have to say it was and is a great place to bring toddlers and young kids for some simple indoor fun.

From the moment we stepped foot into Shalom to be given a tour, I knew this place was right for my baby. Shalom has such a warm, happy, family vibe. I checked out other daycares and just did not feel the same vibe. When you hear about a daycare that has parents signing their children up simply based on their reputation, it speaks volumes, especially since it can be very difficult to find someone you trust to handle your children. But they even exceeded my already high expectations once my daughter was officially enrolled. The infants and children have curriculums and rooms made specially for their age. Michele, the director, is the sweetest, most professional, most accommodating person and made us feel like we belong to a family. All of the teachers at Shalom are very well trained, so friendly, and so caring, and my girl always has a big smile on her face when she's dropped off and picked up. They upload the cutest photos to Remini every day, and they always answer the phone if I need to check up on her. The communication is stellar and they are extremely organized. I also love that they have a flexible schedule and are so easy to work with. They also have such an emphasis on cleanliness, especially during these times, which puts my mind at ease. Thank you so much, Shalom, for welcoming Lillian and us into your family and for taking such good care of her. If you decide to enroll your children at Shalom, rest assured that they will be in the absolute best of hands.

The first few weeks were hard (mostly for me), but the teachers and staff at Shalom made the transition process seamless. After 10 months at Shalom, I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. The safety precautions they have in place ease my mind each day when I drop Jack off; and the joyful squeal of "school" or "April" (his teacher's name) as we pull up in front of the building lets me know how much Jack enjoys his days there. His teachers have taught him to say "more" in sign language, to draw and paint, to sing and dance to a variety of kids songs, and to play nicely with his friends. Shalom is a warm and caring environment - from the top down. The Directors, Michele and Providence, are warm and welcoming and clearly care about all of the Shalom families. Not only do they run the school incredibly well, but they have given me parenting tips. If you are looking for an amazing experience for you and your children, Shalom is definitely the right place.

The more they discuss their time there the more I realize just how off the mark this camp is and was. Entertainment. That is what they do. My kids need more than entertainment even if they could not articulate it yet. Now they can. Now they can tell me why they were not happy there. That makes me mad and sad. My daughter says that they played loud music all day. She said that she and her friends just wanted to play. Instead they had to go around and do constant activities that involved waiting on line. Every time they go tinto a good prentend play activity, they were moved as a group to some "amazing activity". The food sucked. Both my kids now go to sleep away camps in New Hampshire that cost less than Driftwood per day. One day at Driftwood, my son was served no lunch. He stole food from the kid next to him and he got in trouble. He was hungry. I feel so bad that I did not realize this was a factory before I sent him for years. Again, he could not articulate it when he was there. Lesson Learned. Go elsewhere., There are many camps in the Melville area that are associated with the towns. They are much less expensive than the premiere camps but they have a lot more heart and your kids will not be thrown food for thousands of dollars. I am not saying they won't be thrown food, but you should pay for what you get and understand that.. Think about that!!!
