As a first time mom leaving my son at day care was extremely nerve racking, but I felt reassured by the Day Care Coordinator and his teacher/caretaker that he was in really great hands. He was loved and the teachers were really involved in his care.We had quarterly parent teacher conferences, to talk about his development, I was able to bring up some things we were working on at home- like when he transitioned from bottle to a cup,etc. Or when trying to wean off pacifier. I felt like I could be open with his teachers about both the triumphs and challenges I faced as a mom. They gave some great advice on potty training and tantrums. When he transitioned from the infant class to the toddler class, it was such a smooth transition- and it made me so happy to see how happy he was there.They really make an effort to understand every child's needs and to teach and expose them to so many different things. Learning about hibernation in the toddler class room and having pumpkin picking day in the fall. Every staff member there is involved in your child's well-being and safety. When we moved, it was hard to say goodbye- they really became family. My LO thrives on routine and so the daily schedule worked so well with him. The daily summary was an opportunity for his teacher to communicate about his day, and so it helped me to plan my evening- if he only slept for 30 minutes, I knew to anticipate an early bed time, etc. If you're looking for a place that will provide great care, openly communicate with you, and be accessible, but more importantly have your child be top priority, I highly recommend Alternatives For Children Day Care.

My child sustained multiple facial injuries, one extremely close to the eye, as a result of another students BIP not being implemented. The homeroom teacher Lara, the teacher assistant Christine, the paraprofessional Maria and the nurse Maryalyce failed to contact me further than a note sent home during the multiple physical attacks my child received. The school parroted excuses and discuss the BIP child, rather than taking responsibility and doing their jobs. The children were not to blame, it was the lack of adult supervision and intervention!! In the end, the homeroom teacher Lara never contacted my family and did not show up to the Emergency Safety Meeting. I had to pull my child out of the school. My child could not speak up and the adults at this school are indifferent, callous and cowardly. Never stop advocating and protecting your children!

This means some children become left unattended for hours. This isn't a temporary problem, it is a repeating pattern showing a clear inability to manage the facility. Some of the teachers are lovely and do a great job of caring for the children. But the upper management is pure degeneracy and interferes with the teacher's abilities to do their job. It is a shame that a few people can cause such a downfall in the care that the facility provides the children. There is no shortage of childcare in the area, please look in a different direction if you are considering childcare.

The Director, Miss Elena, met with us for over an hour and has continued to be engaged and dedicated in conversations about our son's development. From reinforcing learning we do at home, to teaching him so many new and exciting things, the teachers at TLE are kind, professional and most important to me, loving. Unfortunately, my experience with this daycare has been very disappointing, and I feel it's…read moreimportant to warn other parents. 1. Teachers' attention. Children are often left without proper supervision, especially when they cry. My child was bitten repeatedly for three weeks in a row. Instead of addressing the issue directly, the administration said they had bought a book for the teachers so they could "learn" how to prevent such situations. But these are basic skills every caregiver should already have when working with children. 2. Food. The menu includes a lot of sweets and processed foods. I personally saw children being given Oreo cookies. There was even a case when the milk was close to spoiling. This is absolutely unacceptable for children's nutrition. 3. Water and milk. Children are regularly given very cold milk and water from the refrigerator. Even when I brought my own water and left it separately, I would still find it in the fridge at the end of the day. As a result, children often get sore throats and coughs. 4. Temperature in the classroom. Several times I noticed that the rooms were very cold: teachers were wearing jackets, while the children sat in shorts and were freezing. This happens quite often and raises serious concerns about the comfort of the environment. 5. Parent communication app. The app almost never works properly. For months, their iPad would shut down after just one hour of use. Even after replacing it, the problem remained -- updates are not entered on time, and parents don't receive information in real time. 6. Formula and basic needs. When my child first started, she was still partially on formula. In the application form, I filled out all the details to help her adapt smoothly. However, I was told that "the daycare doesn't have hot water" to prepare the formula. This is absurd, especially considering they also accept infants. How can a daycare operate without such a basic necessity? After some unpleasant conversations, they eventually allowed it for a while, but the very fact that this was an issue shows a lack of basic readiness and care. Conclusion: In my opinion, this daycare fails to provide the basic safety, nutrition, and comfort that children deserve. Parents considering this option should think very carefully before enrolling their child here.

They have great activities for the children, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating to your needs. I am one of those parents that likes to call and check up on her and they are always happy to receive my calls. I have been to other daycare like bright horizons and tutor time. I feel that kids connection provides more of a family feel and not a school like setting. We are happy to be here.
