I shopped with my daughter for my two granddaughters at this establishment 14 years ago when my first granddaughter was born and later on when my other granddaughter came into our lives. We always found something either clothing or toys. The service is professional, their system is well coordinated as far as sorting and tagging. I think it's a great place to buy clothes for children at a very reasonable price. Gift cards are also a way to give a parent the freedom to select. I recommend Once Upon A Child! read more

My family and I visit Naples once a year, and we always make a stop at Once Upon A Child. The clothes are very reasonably priced--lots of brand names that look practically new. I save my son's outgrown clothes all year and bring them in a Rubbermaid container to sell during our trip. The amount they offer is fair, especially considering they don't know how quickly the items will sell. The staff is always friendly and greets you right when you walk in. It's a clean, well-organized store that makes shopping (and selling) easy. We'll definitely keep coming back! read more

Apparently they don't buy items on Sunday's, maybe I'm crazy but I didn't see that listed anywhere on their website. This is not a great set up for parents who work. Not to mention it's not just around the corner for me. This will be the last time I make the trek to them, I don't need the $13 they'd have given me for my 3 large bins of items that bad. Went in for the first time since moving here (went to a few in South Carolina and always great and in Oregon) and I'm honestly really disappointed with this location. Prices are HIGH! I saw a lot of Walmart brand that cost more then the originally retail price. The employee are very rude. I'm a really easy going person and get alone with most. I was walking out and one lady told me I'm not allowed to use the cart outside of the store unless I bring it back inside to them when I'm done. I'm sorry but I will not leave my kids in the car to run a cart back inside or drag them back in with me. Lol. Oh and they don't give you a bag for your stuff so plan ahead and bring your own bags if you go. I just would recommend trying a different location. read more

Visited this location for their "blowout" clearance sale of the weekend..there was no clearance selection at all..complete false advertising. Staff was unfriendly and rude, I had to wait to be checked out because the young girls were so into their conversation of where they were going to get "hammered" at and the bar establishments they would be visiting. The woman who checked me out had no emotion and just seemed miserable. My daughter started to get impatient and started to cry and she signed and rolled her eyes in annoyance. Management should look into who they're hiring, instead of just hiring anyone just because of desperation. Clearly can't keep anyone cause they have "now hiring" plastered everywhere. I was in today to sell some items, when I came back to pick up the items that were sold they offered me a few dollars which I didn't really care because it was things that I didn't use but what got me really upset was I wanted to purchase a small toy for my baby and it had a tag hanging on it that said one price but when the girl rang me up she charged me more for it when I told her oh I thought it was the price hanging she said no its the tag underneath and I told her that the tag hanging said the price I saw and the reason I wanted it . If she could honor it and she said no was very rude about the situation and still didn't honored the prize and said that someone put the price wrong so that's the price , Very rude and unprofessional because I have worked for sales and Customer Service for years and you would never do that to a customer and specially not be rude to one read more

Why I won't go back to Once Upon a Child...I have been a regular customer of Once Upon a Child since moving to Naples, Florida. I have 5 children and have found many good deals. Today I made a trip over (about 6 miles from home) and had inadvertently left my bag with my drivers license at home. I offers to show a photo of my drivers license and also my Florida attorney's Bar card but they said absolutely no exceptions. I understand the policy but no rule is without exception. This was simply poor customer service and the rigid adherence missed the point of the rule. They lost my business today. read more

I was in this store yesterday having never bought "used" baby items before but needed to stock the condo with things for our grandchild. I bought a few toys and a pack n play. Admittedly I did not carefully look the items over as I was told by my daughter in law that Once Upon a Child was a highly regarded chain and accepted only extremely high end used merchandise. I left everything on the front porch overnight and took it out on the grass this morning for a good scrubbing and upon opening the pack n play it was broken! I paid $35.00 for a broken Pack N Play! I called Once Upon a Child and their response (which is the ONLY reason I have given them two stars instead of one) was to bring it in for them to look at and they would decide if they would give me a refund. Well, it is a 40 minute drive for me in each direction so I am going to put the thing on the curb for the trash collector. I just find it horrible that they had a broken item for sale in their store and for THIRTY FIVE DOLLARS! I will NEVER go into a Once Upon a Child again! read more

Great place and great buys but terrible customer service and we were treated terrible by an employee!

I try to like this place and support small businesses but they make it so difficult, the selection is sub par, they only post the nice stuff online for holds, and most importantly their customer service is horrendous. I have been there 5 times over the last 9 months and not one pleasant experience. Most recently I went to buy $13 worth of little cars/ trains and they would not provide the little plastic netting for me to carry them. Instead they wanted me to BUY a $4 bag. Amazon sells plastic bags for $0.01. Again, I want to support them but cannot. read more

I do not like to leave poor reviews but I am very disappointed. My husband and I recently purchased a BB8 remote control droid from the store after the staff said that they tested it and it worked fine. The box was sealed and my error was that I did not test it before I left the store. It malfunctions, its head falls off, and it does not work properly. It was a gift for my granddaughters and they were extremely disappointed. We recharged everything, we researched the issues looking for a remedy but it would not help the situation, it was just not working properly. I was just going to throw it out but decided to call the store to respectfully inquire about their return policy only to find out that toys are not eligible for return. The gal that answered the phone asked a few questions regarding the item, like did I charge it etc., and then told me that the staff and the gentleman that sold it to them said it was working. I explained that it really was not functioning properly. She said there is nothing that they could do. I understand policies, but at least have me bring the item into the store and see for yourself. Judge when you see it in action, and if you still feel that the item is working properly, then I would accept that. I do not need to be correct, I don't need my money back, just provide some customer service. On a positive note, ( and the reason for the only star) is that the staff that was working in the store when I purchased the item on Feb 9th, was very cordial. read more

My mother and I came here to stock up on baby items for my soon to be nephew! Since my sister in law is a first time mommy she registered for items online that of course were very pricey. Once Upon a Child had ALL the same items looking almost untouched, and some items still has the original tags on them! This store not only offers baby items but also clothing for children, and even toys. I know I'll be coming a frequent buyer here. read more
