For students who love thrift shopping, but find it hard to find something for them each time, this store should leave you satisfied every time. Their prices are really fair as well, usually ranging between $10-$20 for an item of clothing. As an example, I've see ASOS shorts go for $16 (which could be 2-3 times as much originally) and an Aritzia winter coat go for $150 (originally $300+). They often have brands you'll recognize like Zara, American Apparel, Aritzia, Urban Outfitters, etc. and they post their new arrivals on Instagram, but since they don't hold new arrivals those clothes can get snatched up within the day. They also sell accessories like sunglasses, atlas watches, scarves, and necklaces. The store itself is really nice and quaint. It's got an industrial style with brick walls and wooden furnishings. They also have a change room and one person working to help you out.

There's a lot of H&M and Forever 21 finds (it is a university town), but you'll also see nicer brands like BDG or Guess. I'm a little disappointed there's less vintage pieces that weren't large. However, they do a really good job of creating a cool mood through their displays and decor and indie music - even the plainest tank can catch your eye. Overall, a cute spot to stop by if you're in the area. Support sustainable local shops!

I couldn't find the change rooms! When I asked an employee she informed me they had been "removed", that I'd have to purchase the items and try them on at home. I was floored! When cashing out, I specifically inquired about "return policy" and how much time I had to return the item/s. I was informed 14 days to return merch. Never within the scope of our conversation was it mentioned that store policy was "EXCHANGE ONLY". It wasn't until today when I went to "return" for a "refund" was I informed that the store is EXCHANGE ONLY - as an employee pointed to the fine print on the receipt. I was so angry at not being informed of this when I made the purchase & was specifically asking about returns, I tossed the item/s in the cart and told them to keep my money! So NOT ONLY have your stores REMOVED CHANGE ROOMS, you now FORCE people to PURCHASE (perhaps several) ITEMS, go home try them on, come BACK to the STORE (wasting more time & $$), all for an "EXCHANGE" instead of a REFUND!! I'd say that was a HUGE RIP OFF! I have donated several items of wares and clothing to VV over the years - I will no longer be doing that. Your store policies are ridiculous especially when one cannot try on items! Also the prices you're charging for "donated" items is getting pretty extreme - especially when one can buy similar items new for less at discount stores such as Giant Tiger... Bring back the change rooms and "exchange only" isn't an issue - I'm done with VV.

Went to this store the next day to pick something up and found one loveseat and the tv stand in the dumpster out back. Spoke to the manager who showed me a rip now in the loveseat that wasn't there before, and told me they didn't sell tv stands after having been told by the driver they did. He apologized but was dismissive and not accountable for the rip. Can't recommend this outfit and won't donate anything to them ever again. My intentions were to have these go to another home that could use them, but never did see the other items in the store.

Staff are kind & friendly, selection is varied & nicely displayed, and they gratefully receive anything that anyone is lead to donate. They don't display or sell "junk"...but, their staff check out all electrical items & computers, and they probably receive some recompense for "recycling" some of the things that they don't sell. One can check out their online site to read about their mission statement, which is excellent. I wish their store hours were extended on Thur. & Fri. eves, but hey...these good folks are volunteers, so we adapt. Brides! Go see a large bridal dress area. Happy shopping, everyone!
