Customer service was terrible. The red head that worked on April 8th was so rude. I took time to fold all my stuff and make sure it looked nice. She slammed the baskets on the floor and pushed them so hard clothes came out. Her and another woman doing buys acted so annoyed that they had to work. She also continued to do another buy in the middle of checking me in (I already had done the phone part) and helped other customers so I stood there,pregnant, forever because she had my ID. We enjoy this store to find good baby clothes for our daughter. It has way better selection than the other second hand baby stores. We also typically find that the quality/cleanliness of the clothes is usually better here. Some of the other stores have pretty worn out clothes but here everything is *usually* pretty good quality. We also have people ask where we get such cute clothes for our baby and this store is to thank. The variety is much better than what you find in a department store that only sells Carter's and whatever else. More colors, styles, etc. We have never sold anything here so we cannot speak to that side of the store but I think some of the other reviews for this store are unwarranted. This place is clean and has good selection at amazingly cheap prices. read more

I've never had anything but great experience selling here. I think some people don't understand how children's resale works, so they might expect more money for their stuff than what they get or might expect them to take everything when some of their stuff is not very good or their inventory is too large in that area. They are going to sell things for about 50% of what you would buy them in the store and therefore they're going to give you about 25% of the value if it's in good condition. Maybe a little more if it's a special item maybe less if it's not in great condition but they need it for inventory. I take big stacks of stuff there and almost all of it is always taken, but I go through the clothes before hand and I don't send them things with stains, tears, or holes. Employees aren't the chattiest, but have never been rude. Several of them have been extra sweet to me when I was going in and out to the car to get baby equipment by holding the door, putting my phone by the computer so I had one less thing to carry, etc.. read more

When my kids were really little I used once upon a child in our former town all the time and it was great. I used to find awesome princess dresses and shoes and plenty of summer tees. I don't know what the deal is but the Bentonville location is always a let down and I'm done wasting my time. The used book section is the best part. I brought in some nice clothing today including some beautiful barely worn little girl dresses and they said they were too old. However, they looked way nicer than the selection available when I went looking in the size 6-8 girls section. I also brought in a travel high chair that was used twice and is nice and I don't even think they looked at it. With the outdoorsy culture around Nwa I think it's in demand and being close to brand new could have been sold for $40. I don't understand their process and don't think selling here is worth it. The first time that I came in here it was my first time inside of a once upon a child I immediately went back to the section where they housed the seven and six year old items of clothes because that is the age that my daughter was at the time when I looked to the corner they had a lovely display of many dresses and rompers but in the corner there was a bit of diarrhea I could not tell if it was human diarrhea or if it was dog diarrhea but I was completely shocked and I found that I would never go back to once upon a child ever again. read more

Clean for a used clothing store, and good amount of inventory. Can almost always find enough good items to outfit my kids for the season for cheap! Wondering if there is a new owner and/or manager...? Staff doesn't seem nearly as friendly, customer service not as good as it used to be. I'll keep coming back if only for the great prices. read more

live shopped here since my daughter was born and I went today to go sell the stuff that didn't fit her no more, I went through every item carefully and made sure there were no stains and that the outfits Were put together I had a whole tote full and most items that she never even wore and they took a handfull for 30 dollars! Then said something clothes From 2018 or whatever and I was like that makes no sense but overall I think it was a crappy experience this time there's no reason they couldn't buy those clothes when she never even wore most of them. read more

EVERY time I have been in here to sell or buy every single employee is rude & acts like they hate their life being there not to mention anytime I bring clothes here they buy maybe 5 things out of a huge pile & half of it has never even been worn, they only have big selections of certain age groups so you would think they would be more open minded about stuff being brought in especially when it's brand new clothes. read more

I'm very disappointed after leaving this store today. The selection is amazing and the building is spotless, but the ladies behind the counter were rude and stand offish. Looks like even after a year I'm not the only review to say this, and it's really disappointing as a customer to feel like you're unwanted there. I entered the store and they all looked at me and I said Hi first and not one of them said a thing back. I got up to the counter and had a girl look up at me and ask if I was ready then completely ignore I was there afterwards. I even offered to remove the hangers with her and she still seemed like her job was wicked hard and I was a burden. I really don't even want to come back after that because I felt humiliated. I'm in the customer service industry, and your goal is to make people want to come back not be rude and have them feel like you don't want their business. Kindness goes a long way and I didn't find it here. read more
