It's expensive and she is doing it all on her own! 4. It's a small property ran by a retiree. She keeps the animals in pens during open hours otherwise they are free to roam. It is a bit run down in places but I'm certain the animals don't mind! 5. When you arrive enter on the left side of the farm if you are looking at it from the road. Our three tickets were labeled "Two Can Zoo Ages 3+," which led us to believe that each ticket covered two people. Instead, we were told the tickets were valid for only one person each and had to pay an additional $60 for three more tickets. The confusing wording made the experience feel like a scam. As a supposed gesture, the manager gave us complimentary kangaroo experience tickets, but they were essentially worthless. The guy working the kangaroo area said the kangaroos never leave the roped-off area, and it has been a very long time since they left the area and let people pet them. So we could not participate in the experience at all. The complimentary tickets did not make up for the confusion, extra expense, or poor customer service, it just added to it. The zoo should provide clear and accurate ticket descriptions, and train staff to handle customer concerns professionally.
