Ruined my clothes! Brand new $350 and $275 pants that are now unwearable. Just look at the pictures. Pants are bunched, stitches skipped and ran back over 3-4 times with gaps inches apart, and their too short as well! Should have known when the lady put a single safety pin on each cuff and bragged about not needing fancy tools or needing to snap a chalk line. PLEASE do not make the same mistake as me. I am thankful to this place! I had an appointment with another company and they completely dropped the ball, closed and not answering phones when I was there for my appointment. I called and she was so sweet and was able to squeeze me in right away. I've used Once Again on a few occasions to alter work clothes, and one special project for some outside speakers. My wife brought several blouses in to be shortened and hemmed. A week later the hem on one fell out. She brought it in to be fixed. They had a bad attitude and kept it for a week. Now several more have fallen out. read more

I had purchased a pair of pants and I wanted the back pockets opened up. There was another customer who had dropped off pants and was putting on a a dress for alterations. The owner grabbed her "scalpel" and popped the threads and said no charge. Otherwise it would of been a weeks wait. Thanks for the attention and great customer service. read more

My husband needed 4 suits (purchased within last year) tailored to create the new fitted streamlined suit. Suits had been previously tailored by Mens Wearhouse which did an awful job. I will never go anywhere but Once Again. Owner is FABULOUS and does the work! She listened to our needs and did three fittings to ensure my husband's suits fit perfectly. Absolutely horrendous!!! Do not go here!!!! I walked in here with a short wedding dress that just needed the ribbon sewn down on it. It was fully done otherwise. When I walked in with my bag in hand and said good morning, her reply was, "what is that in your hand? Is that a wedding dress? I don't do wedding dresses, I'm too busy. Get out and go somewhere else!!!!!" This is no exaggeration. I was floored. She told me to go around the corner at the other two places and to just leave. She didn't have time to waste talking to me. My jaw was literally on the floor. My initially reaction was that I wanted to tell her off for being so rude, but I just turned around and left. I went around the corner to the tuxedo place where they were lovely and helped with no problem. Never will she get my business and I will spread the word. Horrible customer service.!!!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about Wanita. She does quality work at fair prices. I take anything needing alteration to her and have been very happy through the past 7 years with everything from hems to custom fitting bedskirts, curtains and quilts, she's the best! She runs a nice family business and everyone there is always friendly. Reviewer Mama L. was unhappy because she expects Wanita to let you know your things are ready but if she spent all her time calling customers when would she find time to do alterations? I'm always given a receipt with the pick up date clearly written on and it's always ready as promised. Wanita is the best!!! read more

When I moved here four years ago, one of the hardest things was finding new businesses I trusted to take care of things, like car repairs, dentists, and of course finding a great tailor, capable of doing those things I can't (I can sew on a button, but not much more). I found this place by accident and what a happy accident! She has hemmed jeans for me, altered jackets, shortened t-shirts and skirts -- you name it. And it's always looked great and been done exactly as I want it. I saw the poor review further down on the page and I have to say that I LOVE that she has her dogs there with her and that they are friendly and like to say hello to customers. They are so sweet and seeing them is one of my favorite parts about going in. Such happy, waggy tails and friendliness! Plus my clothes always look great so really, what's not to like. Reasonable prices, too. So glad I don't have to worry about finding a great seamstress/tailor anymore, and she's right in the downtown area. read more
