We checked out several rolls of carpet, ranging from thin piled to plush piled and ended up choosing a taupe, medium thick carpet with the padding. The staff was incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable. They install quickly and professionally. The price was in our range and they even work with you if you need financing. We had such a good experience on our initial visit, that when my mom wanted to do the floors in her sunroom, we went back to Jeter's! They had a fabulous selection of indoor/outdoor rugs and we purchased one that lasted for years! Repeat business? You bet!! When I needed a carpet remnant for our spare room, we went back to Jeter's! I even found a cute cheetah print area rug that I bought on a whim! Love it! It's obvious why their customers keep coming back again and again! No pressure, tons of inventory, super deals and personal service! They also have hardwood flooring, tile, laminate, runners, decorative area rugs and more! For great selection, amazing customer service and pricing that won't dent your carpet bag, Jeter's has got you covered wall to wall!!

They wanted an additional $800 to finish the job. Clear coat. I gave them half stating you are now my highest estimate, you claim you have been in business 100 years BUT YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO MEASURE FLOORS? I wrote paid in full. They scratched it out, cashed the check & took me to court. At Xmas, wanted my house finished. Black lady judge said that by me allowing them to put the clear coat that a verbal contract outweighed a written contract in the state of Virginia. So I paid them the other half in court, in front of the judge. They reported unpaid on my credit for the next 7 years. I had my lawyer send them letters. I called the courts, it done no good. I got to explain it every time i applied for something, i had excellent credit other than them. So they got free advertising. Worse company i ever dealt with and the floors cupped because they didn't let the wood acclimate. Snowed that day,

I was contacted by someone at Costen floors who worked directly w my insurance company (Carlos? Sorry if I don't recall his name). Anyways, he was extremely professional and easy to work with. We picked the flooring sample and scheduled a day for installation. Then came the actual day of the installation. I was told by Costen that the workers could move larger items (couches, tables, etc) out of the room for me and I would only need to remove the smaller items. The workers came earlier and were disgruntle about having to move stuff like what was promised. They were really rude and disrespectful to me, the female home owner, and told me to "stop getting in the way and let us do our work." I explained I just wanted to know their estimated timeline (things like if they planned on starting on one side of the room, whether they're gonna wait for some caulking to dry first, etc) but was told to my face "we don't need to explain every step to you." WOW. It's not like I'm asking for a step by step introduction to carpentry. I just wanted them to update me on their work. I'm paying these people for products and services, not to disrespect me in my own home. Frustrated, I sent my 60 year old father over to talk to them, and they were perfectly polite to him. Eventually the work got done. The floor looked fine but I was not impressed at all by the workers' attitudes, like they were hourly and just wanted to wrap and gtfo. The floors/product was good but the service, not so much. Even though my floor looks fine, I would not work with them again.

I would highly recommend that the installers are watched carefully. There is an unproven incidence…read moreof theft from my home after they left. Work began in October 2022 for a project that Timber Creek Construction proposed as a 10-week project. 12 months later, our bathroom was not close to being complete. A sample of the issues remaining included the following: * No plumbing fixtures installed * No electrical fixtures installed * Incomplete tile installation * No doors installed * Significant trim issue * Subpar paint job, characterized by a Timber Creek employee as "...was beyond unacceptable" and "...embarrassed by the work...". * A complete mess of our Master Bedroom, Master Closet, and additional bedroom (where we thought we were temporarily storing our belongings) that needed extensive cleaning. This project contained poor project management, poor workmanship, no quality assurance on work that was completed, no adherence to provided schedules, and up charges on selection items that were neither contained in the agreed proposal or indicated to us prior to signing the agreement. The emotional trauma and physical health issues this caused us are beyond comprehension. We lived in complete chaos for a year with no completion in sight. It became very clear that Timber Creek was in over their head with this project and underestimated effort and project details that had been discussed many times prior to the work starting. We were left with no other option than to cease working with Timber Creek and pursue other means of completion, at a cost that was significantly more expensive than anything we had anticipated and proposed by Timber Creek. This was the worse construction/remodeling job we ever experienced.

I paid/invested 5900 dollars and they built the frame (they never returned to complete the job nor provide a refund)which failed inspection, caused 1500 dollars worth of damage, refused to provide my insurance company with the name of theirs to determine liability, provided an inaccurate address to the state for their LLC so if you attempt to take legal action they can't serve him. Unaware of building codes, used the wrong required blocks for footings and instead of replacing just flipped over the pyramid style blocks. The list goes on and on. I reached out to a few contractors and picked Josh because of his professionalism and detailed paperwork of the project. He was not the most expensive nor the least expensive, however he walked through showing my husband and I some problem areas that needed addressing. In researching his thoughts, he was spot on and we are grateful he pointed out these problem areas. He stayed in constant contact with us and showed us what he did each day. If he had to stop at a home improvement store, he let us know he would be a few minutes late. For the most part, he was there between 730 and 800 and did not leave before 500. He knew what our budget was and did not go over it one penny. The deck and screened in porch came out amazing, better than what we expected. He made the screened part to look like windows on the outside with the trim of the wood. The lower part of the inside he did a pallet look, which he suggested after the project had started, and did not charge us for it. I was thrilled when I saw what he did to give it a "rustic" look at no cost to us, but time on is part. There is no doubt we would hire Josh again, in fact my husband already has discussed a couple of other projects with him as soon as Josh has time. This young man has talent and knowledge along with ideas that will fit anyone's budget. He is professional and respectful and you won't be disappointed.
