When I've recently met some Dallas artists that I ended up performing at Top Ten with, it messed me up that this spot's on the same street & that I never knew about it this whole time. Finally coming around to perform here & all that led up to it was a great experience. The communication was always good to make sure things would go good (all the way from social media to being on location for the day of the show). The sound guy was efficient & always made sure the artists & I were set for the night. The sound was good, the crowd enjoyed the night. The staff was nice as well, very friendly & were letting us in on some future plans dealing with music shows. One thing I didn't get a chance to do was dive fully into the selections of vinyl on deck. The spot is intimate & very suitable for DJs to spin, open mic, spoken word, etc type of events. It didn't take long for me to plot on the next show to do here. Outside of having a great show, I had a great night overall.

Like high enough that many things you can get on a sale rack, brand new. Also, they had a sales rack outside but then didn't want to honor the price. Another employee had to step in and say, "Yes, this is from the sales rack." The store is set up nice. It is easy to find great items, if you're willing to pay those prices.

Piling, stretched out collars, no deals here. Other items were on discount too, but the items were department store clearance at a small discount. Won't be back. You can get more for less at garage sales where they actually want to sell their items.

We all have something to give, and if only time is what you've got, so be it. You will likely leave tired, but having felt received more than you could ever give. Got muscle? Got faith? Got time? Got skills? Got steadfastness? Go! Don't get me wrong, it's hard work, but you're sowing good seeds here. They could use your help, and honestly, you could use theirs. It's amazing what we can do together on one accord. We started with the foundation and by the end of the day all of the walls of the house were up. So cool to be a part of something bigger than I. The housing are basically like hotel rooms with 2 queen beds and bathroom. You have to clean up after yourself while you stay there. They have communal living rooms and play spaces for the children, a big courtyard, splash pad, communal dining room and kitchen. They also provide 3 meals a day. I am very thankful for all the volunteers and workers there.

Providing meals and lodging for families going thru difficult and often finically crippling medical issues. I have been going to the Dallas Goodwill Outlet for several years. This means I have seen so many…read moreof their rules change, sometimes weekly. I have noticed a gradual improvement in the attitudes of employees, to each other and to customers. However, I went yesterday and while shopping saw row after row ofbins being brought out but covered with sheets or blankets, so not open for shopping. They then told all shoppers they were closing from 12-1 so pay for items and leave, or wait in front area til they reopen. Also, if you spend $50 at checkout you would be allowed back in at 12:30. Of course the roundup and exit of shoppers to pay meant a longggg line to checkout. It has always been curious to me that they don't seem to have fundamental retail expertise, nor do they seem to care about their customers at all, and this latest change really reinforces that. Their method of replacing bins is chaotic-the last time I was at the Austin Outlet they had an organized way of doing it, starting at one end and then moving down replacing each row. It was a while back, but seemed to work. Why in the world would you make shoppers leave when they are shopping at your store? i dunno, just felt disrespectful. I don't get there till 10ish, and typically spend more than 2 hours there, so its no longer a fun place for me to shop, so I won't go as often, if at all. Fortunately i live in between the Dallas and Ft Worth store, so I'll just try the Ft Worth store instead.

For starters, this is my dedicated, neighborhood thrift store! The first time I went, I was sceptical, because it was so packed! I am talking, it felt like everyone in Dallas frequents this location! It is a drop off/donation center, so it makes sense! But omg! I am so glad I did that day! I have since been back many times, especially on Wednesday because all the clothes and bags are half off! As for the staff, everyone is always so happy and kind! I can go in and walk around for hours, having individual convos with each employee! It is the best, truly, and makes the experience 10x better! Finally, the clothes! Like I said, Wed is the best day because everything is half off! I have found some amazing pieces! Some of which are name brand for very low prices! For example, I found 3 REAL Coach bags, and I got 2 of them for under 40$! A steal in my books! I def recommend stopping in to browse!

He told me to hurry because he had 40 other homes he had to visit.. he did not pick up everything as requested and rushed to give me the paper. He did not pick up the mirror saying it needed to go with the dresser, but you pick up a headboard. He did not pick up everything that I had listed all because he was in a hurry. He also acted as if he couldn't help me move the headboard. Very rude customer service
