The chain stores do have some quality people working for them, but to most of these people it's just a job, not a passion. Fortunately, I happened upon this "hidden" gem in Murrells Inlet. After speaking with both Allen and John on different occasions, I was confident that I found the shop I was looking for. They both took time to listen to what I needed and then made recommendations based on budget and of course, quality. They take the time to explain all of the components and recommend the gear that would work best for me, not the gear that topped out my budget. I took a chance on some brands that I wasn't completely familiar with, and a brand that had given me nightmares in the past. The guys stood behind everything they recommended, gave me a secure feeling that the products I was choosing would do what they said they would do. And then there's the install team... FANTASTIC. No messing around, right down to business, efficient, professional and clearly masters of their craft. Zero mess, zero issues with the equipment, and they took all of the time needed for me to be comfortable with operating things after they walked out the door. It was also important that I was happy with the system after living with it for a week. And pricing?? While I wasn't price shopping by any means... I wanted the good stuff and was fine paying to get it... but prices were well within line of any high-volume chain or internet shop. And those of us in the Myrtle Beach area know the sales tax slap for buying at the beach... Well, this shop is just over the line Georgetown County, so no 10% sales tax! Just an unexpected bonus! Rick has a…read moreproblem responding but thats not why i am writing. i was looking in the area of someone who installed central vacs. A dealer found Premier sound for me, which i thought was wierd bc they are sound and security. Anyway, i went in and met with Rick and told him what i wanted..Vacuflo. That is the only one i have ever owned and the only one i like. I have had 3 installed in 3 different houses and my daughters have also used them in their 4 homes. I met with Rick a couple of times and he came to the house twice and by looking around he could see that i have all hardwood with 2 area rugs. He kept telling me that they had to cut large squares in the walls in 3 different areas and then get a painter to patch, tape and paint. I could not understand that at all and i kept questioning it since i have seen 7 installations back home. I gave him the job and not until the end did i see why the walls had to be ripped up. My guy Nick always gave me the Turbocat which i loved because you just attach to pole and go..and since I've always had hardwood it was perfect. Well when Rick's guys hooked this up it all started to make sense. There is a huge heavy electric powerhead that has to be attached to a separate pole and then there is a plug and cord on the vac hose that has to be plugged into the receptacle next to the vac port they installed next to it. I HATE IT MORE THAN ANYTHING. Like i said i kept asking why the huge holes in the walls and he never answered me and kink of snickered. When i told him none of my others were like that he just looked at me and didn't respond. He just about made me feel like a total idiot that didn't know what she was talking about. After using it once..i texted him and he kept putting me off so i went to his office and told him i hate the head and want the Turbocat. He said he could order one for me and i would have to pay for it. i told him i wanted to exchange it since it was used once and he said he couldn't do that..it was like taking a mattress back. I said are you freaking kidding me..its nothing like that. well i got nowhere and now i have this piece of crap for a power head. 7/22... well i just got a new rug that has kind of a high pile and as soon as i put the vac head on the rug it shuts down. i tried to adjust it but it will not work on this rug. So i have this big heavy ugly head that was costly that does not work on 1 of my 2 rugs. I am very dissatisfied with Rick's business dealings..he came to my home he should have seen that i didn't need anything close to that head. I was assuming that he was looking out for my best interest(i was wrong) and seeing i had all wood flooring he never should have given me that power head. If you are looking for a Vacuflo, there are other Vacuflo dealers in the area...track them down..i wish I had!

I have used AudioTech for all of my audio installations. They have set-up my home theatre and also…read moreconnected speakers to my breezeway and pool. I just had a problem with my sound. I called Mike at he came over multiple times to help me research and find the problem. The reason for multiple visits was after the system warmed up the problem went away. So he needed to determine if the problem was with the receiver, cable box or HDMI cables. Today we determined the problem was with the receiver. Mike was able to install a new receiver and ensured all speakers performed as they were supposed to. Mike had told me to text at any time with my problems. I strongly recommend AudioTech.
