had a brand new MacBook and brought it to uBreakiFix thinking they could help with a repair. What…read morethey didn't tell me upfront was that they're not authorized or even able to fix newer MacBooks. Instead of being honest about that, they still took my computer, kept it for a while, and charged me a fee, even though they already knew they couldn't fix it. It felt like a complete waste of time and money. A reputable repair shop should tell customers the truth before taking their devices and charging them for nothing. I ended up having to go directly to Apple, who told me that uBreakiFix should have known better. Save yourself the frustration, if you have a MacBook (especially a newer one), go somewhere else. I've never had one good experience here.
