Prices were fair and much cheaper than towing vehicle to dealership and having them do the job. Locksmith who did the job was prompt and courteous and even was able to do the job an hour and a half earlier than originally planned. On very short notice On The Go Lock & Key fit me into their busy schedule. I needed 4 house door locks re-keyed, all of which were very old and one of which was a lock that oddly integrated into the handle stem of an old door. This business communicates so well! They called to make sure I was apprised of arrival time, let me know when that unavoidably shifted, explained the cost/risk of re-keying that one strange lock on a door I will replace anyway (which saved me money), and completed the work professionally and neatly. Shay (sorry if I'm mis-spelling) called immediately after the work was done to make sure I was happy with the outcome. Bonus points for (1) showing up with flashlight/head lamp because National Grid has not turned on the power yet (these guys are prepared!!!), and (2) the locksmith being a complete gentleman and very comfortable to be alone in the house with (sisters, you know what my I mean). After more than 3 days being locked out in a very abusive and dangerous situation, leaving me without food, clothing, medicine, sleep, self defense or anything else of use, at a time when our government was betraying us further and depriving us of yet more life essential resources, most service men in the area responded with more concern for themselves than the disabled woman in distress--some putting me off for a whole week, some charging nearly 3 months' income, others complaining it was too inconvenient after 5pm or going so far as to literally ghost me when I said I had to switch to texting because my abuser had just shown up! What could have been solved in just a couple minutes with one simple tool instead became tremendous personal pain and suffering at the hands of an inexcusably inhumane and unprofessional community. On The Go Lock and Key, however, my very last ditch call as my belief in humanity failed for the final time, responded entirely differently. The voice on the phone was as warm and kind as a relative, listening perfectly and formulating a strategy with me right then and there, with increased in-the-moment, over-the-phone communication, Plan B and C so I would know exactly what would happen and how it would impact my safety, my wallet, and my choices, and then he advocated for me to get the help not only same day, but to bring the price way down to what precious little I could get my hands on. An equally angelic technician agreed to help me, showed up in about 20 minutes (it was after 5pm, too, I might add), popped that lock in about two minutes, with zero drama, zero damage, and a New Friend peacefulness that made me feel safe, at ease, almost made me sad to see him go. Aside from my new fear of how to replace that money before I have to turn off my phone and internet next month, I could not have possibly custom-designed that visit any more perfectly. The beautiful voice on the phone, a Charlie of the Angels, checked in with us via 3-person call right after it was finished, and, even more humanely, checked in on me the day after to make sure I was okay. I cannot overstate how it felt to be treated like a valuable human being, with compassion, and selfless neighborliness, in a moment where any reasonable person would agree "no one should have to suffer so much over something that can be so quickly and simply fixed." An oasis in a very desert city, I am so grateful to On The Go for being such Good People. It restored my heart so much, I wish they have need of a part-time helper so I could not only earn back next month's food money, but that I could also have the tremendous joy of working with Good, Kind people on a regular basis to ward off my despair ever again. Hired eden/otglocksandkeys.com to install a smart lock for my back door of my home. The price that was told to me over the phone was 120.00$ for total install. He was supposed to be there at 11am to start called me and told me that he could not get there till 11:30am. Once he got there he wanted me to sign contract for the install. The price he wrote up on the paper was 350$ !!!!!!!! Seriously that was 230$ more then what he told me over the phone. I told him that's not what we agreed on over the phone then he told me he could do it for 250$ then he said he could do it for 200$. Eden is nothing more then a common crook and scammer and a fraudster !!!!! DO NOT HIRE HIM OR HIS COMPANY TO DO ANY WORK FOR YOU!!!!!! he will try to take advantage of you !!!!! He never actually finished the job of setting up the devise all he cared about was getting his money so he could run off with it. NO MORALS NO ETHICS just scamming people that's this man is good for !!! Stay sooo far away!!!!! You will regret it he took over 2 hours to install it and DID NOT EVEN FINISH THE JOB!!!!!! his only concern was to take my money and run !!!!
