Used to go here when I finished my undergrad at Stfx. Back in the day I was a bottle blonde, so naturally I had to get my hair did often (lest I show my "true colors" with my roots!) I was always satisfied with my trips here- my color never came out brassy or snot green or pylon orange, so that's definitely a good thing. And the high/low lights were always natural looking, not "skunky" like you might get at other run-of-the-mill salon. In terms of cuts, I never really did anything crazy with my locks back then. I did grow out a bob 'do though, and the stylist I had was great about that- she knew that I was growing out my hair, so she would only trim very minimal off the ends just to keep my tresses in tip-top shape. Since grad, I haven't been back (Halifax to Antigonish is just a tad far to go for a haircut!) , but coming here was definitely nice while it lasted read more
