My car was towed from a parking lot with no signage, after businesses were closed, and I had been away from my car for 5 minutes. I was even there mid tow to try and stop them. This towing company has no integrity and the people who own and work here will amount to nothing in life, leave behind no value, build no lineage worth learning of, and be removed from this world without fulfilling any aspirations. The only good I wish upon them is that their children become better people but even that bar is low. Based off the area I was towed they have probably targeted people who could not pay the $300 fee to free their car from the lot it gets dropped in, which is in on it with them. That's actuall evil. Imagine trying to make a living off scamming people. The reviews here speak for themselves. On-Site Towing has an address on their website that is 7400 Harwin which is where my car was taken to and they claim not to be associated with each other? Yeah right. Horrible. Who sits and waits for people to tow their vehicle. I'm a mother and missed appts I waited for months for because of this. A few days later my brother car was towed with proper permits. All that could be done was back and forth saying prove a sticker was in window. While vehicle is in your possession . This is bad for the apartment complex and individuals who are trying to survive. I've used On site towing for 10 years and I'm shocked by the reviews. Not only is the owner an amazing person but so are all of his employee, from the tow truck drivers all the way to the answering service. The owner not only works hard, helps with pricing, donates his time, money, profits and cars to charity and local businesses. If you haven't had the pleasure of working with them then you are using the wrong company. They NEVER tow a vehicle without taking photos of it first. The damage claims are slanderous, if they ever did anything it would never get as far as a review because they take care of their work. They stand behind every guest and treat everyone like family. This company is involved with predatory towing don't do business with them. On 28/07/2025. Three of their driver tried to tow my car from infront of food truck. I paid them the towing fee they demanded. They made me pay over a cashapp app. Which is illegal form of transaction because it dosnt show their lisence or name etc. However I asked for the receipt. As soon as I asked for recipt they got mad and told me "oh you want receipt I will give it to you. I will tow your car to the impound yard and will make you pay 300-500 instead of $135 and then I will give you your receipt." And then I told him "it's evil." On which two of the driver replied "this is Texas we can kill you here for this" I talked to my lawyer he told me that the tldr clearly states if the tow truck driver dosnt provide receipt it's a huge violation. The company and the driver will be fined and their license will be suspended. I have put a complaint with tldr and need more people to join me. they allowed a random lady to record me, a minor, without my permission and consent. they used it to tow my mothers car from a parking lot where we had gone and left for 7 minutes before coming back and seeing it gone. Safe to say that these people aren't safe and don't trust a thing they say. I don't feel safe knowing that they used a video that a random woman took with my face in it. I don't like that my face is in some random woman's camera roll. again I am a minor and this whole experience left me feeling unsafe. they didn't warn us or anything before they towed us either. They charged us $309 to get it back even though they didn't even have it in the lot by the time we called, they told us we had to wait an hour before they had it in the lot. I hate this place with every fiber in my body and truly I hope someone sues. Also I think it should be a no brained that I have a strong desire for whoever towed my mothers car to have both sides of their pillow warm. I pray that they need to go to the bathroom in the middle of horrific Houston traffic, and I also hope that every time they sneeze they hurt their ribs while doing it. You may have a case against this company. They towed my car from in front of my house for being parked in front of my door. I went to my HOA and spoke with a rep about the rules, in which he stated every car in the community had violated parking rules. I then called On Site to ask them what warranted only mine and two other cars being towed if every car was in violation. The only answer Thomas could give me was that it was a "random" decision. One can argue that this company or its drivers discriminated against me and the other two residents in my community. Can't wait to have a nice chat with my lawyer and keep you guys updated! Where to begin? So my son rented a car from Enterprise rental car while his car was being repaired. My son just moved into a new apartment. The car he rented was a convertible Ford Mustang. My son forgot he needed a parking sticker in his new apartment. So the first night in his apartment the car was towed by "On site towing." So now my son's car is in the shop & his rental is in an in pound lot. When he went to pick up the car & pay the impound fee. He discovered the tow tuck driver rammed the lift bar into the convertible. He did over $2,000 in damage. This was October of 2023. They have refused to provide their insurance information. Our insurance has not been able to get a hold of them because they won't return their calls. So our company filed an uninsured motorist claim. Our deductible for uninsured is $1,000. My son was naive and trusted them to do the right thing. They initially admitted fault. Not only has our premiums gone up, I am still out $1,000 because none of the managers want to step up and do the right thing. One manager told me he would meet me this Friday with a check. The 3 managers, who refused to provide their insurance information, are: Chris, Thomas Novak, or Jason Flat. It was Jason who called & PROMISED ME, he would meet me today with a check. I even explained to them my wife is home fighting breast cancer. She started chemotherapy the same month they hit the car. I have no extra time or money to deal with these disgusting people. I have been out of work 14 months due to a broken arm and torn rotator cuff. All of which I explained to them. These people are not human beings. There is a place in hell for all of them. It's been 8 months this has been going on. Every week I get a new medical bill for my wife's cancer. There are days I don't want to get out of bed. She is STILL doing radiation therapy & more immunotherapy. It's amazing that they will not give a person their car until they pay. But when they screw up they won't accept responsibility. If people can't pay their impound fee then they will take a title to a car. I wish someone could help me to get these people to pay for what they did. I am so disgusted with society. WORST COMPANY EVER!!! They towed my car for it not being registered with my apartments but i've lived there for a month and I registered 2 vehicles when I moved in. And if that was the case why would it barely get towed now !!! It makes no sense, the manager is no help and customer service is horrible. These people just tow cars for no fucking reason. IF YOU ARE AN IDIOT, ON SITE TOWING IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR YOU TO WORK. These people are crooks. Not only are they crooks, but STUPID crooks. Seriously, the people at On Site Towing are just plain trash--especially the person we've dealt with most directly--some guy named "Chris". For the second time, they have taken our vehicle from the parking lot of our residence, despite the fact that it had the requisite parking permit properly displayed. For the second time, we've spoken with Chris about the issue. For the second time, Chris has been unhelpful and condescending. For the second time, Chris has attempted to argue that it's our fault for not putting the sticker where they can see it. The sticker is placed where it is allowed to be placed, per the parking permit restrictions on our lease agreement--on the back driver side window. Yes. A window. Not anywhere radical like the hood or the door handle, or the hubcap. A window--one of the few surfaces on the car where one could reasonably look to see whether or not their was a parking permit, and yet the people at On Site Towing just can't get the hang of it. It seems to me that Chris thinks it's too much to ask for On Site Towing employees to walk around the vehicle to make sure that there's no sticker before towing it across town. It seems to me that anyone who actually cared about doing their job correctly would want to make sure that the vehicles they towed were violating the rules. These people at On Site Towing do not care whether or not the cars they tow actually have permits or not, because they get paid either way. So, they just take people's cars from the lot, and collect the money from the leasing office. Meanwhile, we have to waste our time and money by paying to take an Uber to some shady impound storage lot, where we have to deal with some weird old lady FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. We pay good money to live where we do. We pay money to be able to park here too. It is incredibly infuriating to wake up and go out to your car which is LAWFULLY PARKED WHERE YOU LIVE, only to find it's gone because some tow truck driver with two brain cells was too lazy and too stupid and too greedy to look for your parking sticker. We have filed a complaint with the company that owns our property so that On Site Towing no longer gets their business anymore. We have also filed a complaint against these garbage people with the appropriate state board that oversees tow truck operations. As much as it sucks to wake up in the morning and find out the car has-- once again--been stolen by On Site Towing, at least I don't have to actually be one of the lowlifes who own and operate this crappy excuse for a business. read more

On site towing towed my car and gave me an invoice that says that there were no charges since it was a issue involving a misunderstanding at my apartment complex. However, once I went to retrieve my car, there was a handwritten charge for $166... Hand written. It took the company two hours to find the transaction on their computer and 10 phone calls back and forth. Apparently, they had retracted the $0 charge that was printed for me (which is also on the website they provide when your car gets towed). The problem isn't the charge, it's that this company is so disorganized that they can't get their system together and they're website doesn't work either. The phone number just gives the runaround. This level of incompetence is ridiculous and probably illegal. You can't hand write a charge on a document that isn't reflected online or elsewhere and claim it to be true. Frauds and a terribly disorganized company. I'm sure I'm not the first to to experience this, nor will I be the last. read more

Towed my car from apt complex they have a contract with, but I caught up with them and they released it back to me for a drop fee payed in cash only. I showed no proof of identification, and could have been anybody taking the car. They wrote in the report that my car has "scratches and dents all over" to cover their ass, when my car does not. These towing companies in Texas are known to be disreputable and exploitative, and have multiple claims in small courts for damages and unauthorized towing. I have tried discussing this even with proof of photo there was no existing dent until after tow and they refuse to admit fault. I am now having to file claims against this company. There should be an option for no stars; that is what this company deserves. Their driver supposedly hooked up my car for towing because of a parking violation at an apartment complex. Although the driver was asked to release the vehicle because he was still on the property when we saw him, he refused unless he was paid a fee. We decided to follow driver to the storage facility. We were able to video the vehicle coming unhooked from the tow truck, swaying along the interstate and the driver and his accomplices attempt to hook the vehicle again after retrieving the parts along the highway. Jason, the General Manager, seemed to want to resolve this situation after viewing the videos. He requested 3 estimates for the damages to the vehicle because of the driver's negligence. He decided to offer the lesser of three estimates, which would not cover the complete cost of the repairs. After listening to Jason boast how fast he was able to cut a check for what he felt was sufficient, I have now filed an insurance claim. read more

On Site Towing towed our car out of a good open parking spot at our apartment complex. We have lived here a long time and know what spots are open parking for use. They came at 2 am and STOLE our car. We discovered the car missing at 5 am when my husband tried to go to work. We reported it stolen, and received a call back from HPD that it had been towed. It was parked in open parking - so, towed means theft in this case. He had to miss work, an overtime pay day, to handle this. The apartment management did call the towing and storage to have all fees waived, but that won't replace the lost income. He had to pay a taxi to retrieve the car, as the towing company refused to bring back the car they STOLE. The wrecker driver even took pictures proving he had illegally towed our car. LOL . While the wrecker company practices nothing short of theft, just a bunch of vultures, the apartments should never allow a wrecker company to tow anyone that they have not called to have towed. These vultures should never be allowed to roam freely on private property. read more

The place is terrible. My 2017 Mercedes was towed by a wheel with onsite towing from the 4th floor of a parking garage for parking without a permit. When I went to get my car which was practically brand new as I've had it only 2 months there was physical damages to the front bumper with deep scrapes. And when I started the car there were several warning lights and messages on my display that said anti collision assist inoperative. When I tired to drive my car the parking brake would not dis-engaged. I left the car where On site dropped my car and I called the number given on the receipt and no answer. I left several messages and my call was returned the next day. The man that spoke with me took my information and told me that the supervisor would have to make the decisions and he was as the dr and would call me as soon as he could. 8 hours later he did call me and proceeded to tell me that the warning light where anti theft mechanisms and that I needed to contact road side assistance. I told him I had already spoken with Mercedes and they informed me that it sounded as if sensors had been damaged. When I tried to explain this to that man who did not give me his name he told me that the damages were my fault for parking in that parking garage and hung up on me. I've never been treated so rudely and this company has not right to damage my car so badly that it's not drivable and not own up to their mistakes. read more
